Thomas -6, Finau -4 (3)
Will Zalatoris suddenly has plenty of company in tied second place. And those names include world number two Justin Thomas.
The recent Players' Championship winner leaves a chip on the par-five third slightly short - but it doesn't matter. A confident putt from 11 feet drops and puts him alongside Zalatoris, Spieth and the rest.
Kim -2 Champ -4 (4)
Cameron Champ drove the green at the last par-four, but can't find it on the par-three fourth.
His tee shot nestles into the bunker and he splashes out to 10 feet, but takes two to convert from there.
Fleetwood +1 (9)
England's Tommy Fleetwood, who made a hole-in-one at the 16th in the first round got off to a fast start with birdies on the second and third to improve to two under.
But his progress has been checked by a bogey on the fifth and a double on seven.
Conners -6 (7)
Corey Conners is having a terrific front nine. He's birdied the second and third holes, aced the sixth and followed that with a 40-footer for birdie on the seventh.
It's definitely moving day, and in the right direction, for the Canadian.
Matsuyama -4, Schauffele -5 (4)
A superb iron shot off the tee gives Xander Schauffele a look at birdie on the 240-yard par three.
The American rolls in his putt from eight feet to again move within three shots of the lead.
Rose -8, Zalatoris -6 (1)
What a start for Justin Rose. Never mind worrying about simply avoiding a bogey on the first - he's opened up with a birdie.
The line of his 12-foot putt looks perfect. But has it got the legs? Yes, it has - just. The ball trickles towards the hole and eventually disappears south.
Kim -2 Champ -5 (3)
Cameron Champ is climbing, that's back-to-back birdies for the American.
Champ actually drives the green on the 350-yard third, but his tee shot rolls off to the left and he has to clip back on before putting for birdie.
Other than Justin Rose, there has not been much of a British challenge at Augusta this week.
Next on the leaderboard behind the 40-year-old Englishman is Scottish debutant Bob MacIntyre.
The man from Oban is one under after an eventful start to his round. Bogey-birdie-birdie-bogey-par-birdie-bogey-birdie.
Fellow Scot Martin Laird is one shot behind him. The Glaswegian began day three with birdies at one and two, although a bogey at seven has dropped him back.
The English contingent is not faring as well. Matt Wallace, Tommy Fleetwood (both +1), Matt Fitzpatrick (+2), Ian Poulter and Tyrrell Hatton (both +3), Paul Casey (+4) are further back.
Rose -7, Zalatoris -6
Justin Rose dropped shots on the first hole in each of his opening two rounds. Of course, he doesn't want to do that today.
And it doesn't look like he will. The Englishman confidently knocks his approach about pin high to the left of the flag, which is towards the back right corner.
Spieth -6, Wiesberger -5 (2)
Jordan Spieth climbs to within one shot of Justin Rose's lead with a well made birdie at the par-five second.
The American finds the middle of the fairway but comes up just short of the green with his approach. From there he makes a neat up-and-down, chipping eight feet past the pin and rolling in for birdie.
Bernd Wiesberger follows him down for a birdie of his own that moves the Austrian to five under par.
Harman -5, Leishman -5
Not the start that Brian Harman would have hoped for. The left-hander pushes his tee shot right into the sand and then sees his second run through the back on the first.
He appears to have retrieved the situation, chipping to five feet but sees a delicate putt squirm round the side of the hole. Bogey start.
Thomas -5, Finau -3 (2)
Here comes Justin Thomas. The world number two can't reach the green on the par-five second with his second shot, but a lovely dink over the bunker leaves him with the simplest of putts for an early birdie.
Two behind the leader...
DeChambeau +2 (5)
Bryson DeChambeau has been going along nicely, with three straight pars.
But he's paid the price for a poor tee shot on the par-three fourth. His iron comes up well short of the green and his chip over the bunker is wayward too.
He was trying to catch the slope behind the pin but massively overhit it, leaving him a treacherous putt back down the slope. Three putts from there and he's heading back over par.
And he also three putts the fifth, albeit from about 80 feet, having to negotiate all manner of humps and bumps, for a bogey-five.
Rose -7, Zalatoris -6 (19:20 BST)
Here are the final two contestants in the Masters sweep...
A ripple of applause - back after being sadly missed in November - as Justin Rose lines up his drive. Straight down the middle on the fairway. A nerve settler.
Going to be interesting to see how Will Zalatoris handles the occasion. Not the ideal start for the 24-year-old American, pushing his drive into the bunker on the right.
Conners -5 (6)
There may not be many patrons allowed at the Augusta National Golf Club this week, but those that are there have just let out quite a roar.
The reason? To greet a hole-in-one by Corey Conners. Just the 180 yards. One bounce. A second bounce. A roll. And straight in the centre of the hole.
It moves the Canadian up to within two of Justin Rose's lead.
Matsuyama -4, Schauffele -4 (3)
Image source, Getty ImagesWorld number six Xander Schauffele finished second here to Tiger Woods in 2019 and began Saturday four shots off overnight leader Justin Rose.
But has already closed the gap slightly making a birdie on the second alongside pars on one and three.
His playing partner Hideki Matsuyama has started steadily, with three consecutive pars.
Spieth -5, Wiesberger -4 (1)
Jordan Spieth cards an opening par, as does Bernd Wiesberger.
This is the third time Spieth has shot consecutive under par rounds in the opening two days of the Masters. He finished tied for second in 2014 and went on to win in 2015.
This is how he's fared in previous appearances at the Masters, with his position after 36 holes and overall:
Rose -7, Zalatoris -6 (19:20 BST)
Image source, Getty ImagesWill Zalatoris was a late entrant at Augusta after climbing inside the world's top 50 in February, but heads into the third round one stroke off the lead.
The 24-year-old is aiming to become the first debutant to win the Green Jacket since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979, and finished with three successive birdies for a four-under 68 that will put him in the final group with Rose on Saturday.
"Just being here is pretty cool," said Zalatoris. "Being in the final group on the Saturday at the Masters is a dream come true."
He shares second place with fellow American Harman, who birdied 17 and 18 for a second successive 69.
Kim -2 Champ -4 (2)
Back-to-back bogeys to begin day three for Kim Si-woo.
The South Korean hooks he tee shot at the par-five second out of bounds, has to take a drop in the trees and pitch out but still makes the green in four, before two-putting.
Cameron Champ has reclaimed the shot he lost on the opening hole, making a neat up-and-down from behind the green for birdie.
