  1. Bogey for Harmanpublished at 20:19 BST 10 April 2021

    Harman -4, Leishman -6 (4)

Another shot gone for Brian Harman.

He comes up short of the green on four and compounds matters with a poor chip from just off the fringe leaving a mid-range putt to save par.

His playing partner Marc Leishman also struggles to find the green off the tee but trickles a putt back on down to five feet to help save his par.

  2. Double bogey for Wiesbergerpublished at 20:18 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -3 (5)

Jordan Spieth leaves himself a 60-foot birdie putt at five and manages to squeeze it all the way up to within four feet. He knows that one is in from the moment it leaves his putter, walking after his effort before it drops.

No such luck for Bernd Wiesberger, who makes a double bogey after finding the pine straw with his tee shot.

The Austrian wedges out, but then leaks his approach a long way right and it's back on the pines again. From there, he overhits the green and has to clip on for an up-and-down to save the double, as it could have been worse.

  3. Postpublished at 20:16 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -9, Zalatoris -7 (3)

Neither Rose nor Zalatoris are happy with their tee shots on the par-three fourth.

Zalatoris, with the honour, tells his ball to go - and it does. But it is way right of the flag, which is tucked in the bottom left of the banana-shaped green. A long way to the stick from there.

But that is better than Rose's effort. He's in the sand to the right.

  4. Bogeys for Thomas and Finaupublished at 20:13 BST 10 April 2021

    Thomas -5, Finau -3 (5)

Justin Thomas' progress slows down with a bogey on the long par-4 fifth. A poor second shot veers right and leaves him scrapping for a par. His par putt is gamely but it doesn't drop.

Playing partner Tony Finau also drops a shot and is bogey-par-birdie-par-bogey so far today.

  5. Birdie for Matsuyamapublished at 20:11 BST 10 April 2021

    Matsuyama -5, Schauffele -3 (7)

Hideki Matsuyama collects his first birdie of the day after a bold approach into seven.

The 29-year-old lands a short iron shot in to around five feet from 132 yards before tidying up.

In contrast, Xander Schauffele cancels out his earlier good work with his second bogey in three holes.

  6. Terrific first ninepublished at 20:10 BST 10 April 2021

    Conners -6 (9)

Corey Conners is hunting for another birdie on the par-four ninth. If he can knock this in, it will be a five-under-par 31 for the first nine.

The Canadian has a six-footer but it's across the slope. He starts it left, doesn't come back. Par. But that's a four-under 32. Can he build on an excellent start?

  7. Birdie for Zalatoris, par for Rosepublished at 20:08 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -9, Zalatoris -7 (3)

Placement over power from Justin Rose off the third tee. That leaves him with a controlled wedge approach, which pitches past the pin but doesn't have as much as spin as he would have hoped.

Playing partner Zalatoris doesn't hold back, however, driving just short of the green. That allows the young American to knock it even closer.

Rose for the birdie... downhill, left to right... whizzes past. Zalatoris' turn. Hands well down a extended shaft looks unorthodox, but it does the trick. Lovely putt for his first birdie of the day.

A foot or so for Rose to knock in... nicely done.

  8. Birdie for Kimpublished at 20:06 BST 10 April 2021

    Kim -3 Champ -3 (6)

Kim Si-woo makes a huge birdie putt on the par-three sixth to reclaim one of his two dropped shots today.

The South Korean stuck his tee shot 35 feet from the pin but nudged his putt and watched it track down the slope and into the cup for a two.

  9. Bogey for Harmanpublished at 20:04 BST 10 April 2021

    Harman -5, Leishman -6 (3)

Second bogey of the day for Brian Harman on three.

The American doesn't get enough a delicate chip up the hill on to the green and sees the ball run back to pretty much where it started.

  10. Watch: Conners hits hole-in-one at sixthpublished at 20:00 BST 10 April 2021

Canada's Corey Connors scores only the sixth hole-in-one in tournament history at the par three-sixth hole at Augusta National, moving into contention in the third round of The Masters.

  11. Leaderboardpublished at 19:59 BST 10 April 2021

    -9 Rose (2)

    -6 Conners (8), Thomas (4), Leishman (3), Zalatoris (2)

    Selected:

    -5 Spieth (4), Wiesberger (4)

    -4 Schauffele (6), Matsuyama (6)

    -1 Lowry (10), MacIntyre (10)

  12. Bogey for Spiethpublished at 19:59 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -5 (4)

That's unlucky for Jordan Spieth, who almost holes out from the bunker on the par-three fourth, nipping the cup and instead running 11 feet beyond it.

He puts his par-saver close from there, but the American has to tap in for his first bogey of the day.

  13. Bogey for Champpublished at 19:56 BST 10 April 2021

    Kim -2 Champ -3 (5)

It's another bogey for Cameron Champ, that's two in a row, wiping out the good work done to birdie two and three and he's now one over for the day.

The American found a fairway bunker off the tee, had to lay up and then his approach left him with 32 feet to make up to save par. Instead it's a two-putt bogey.

  14. Another birdie for Rosepublished at 19:54 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -9, Zalatoris -6 (2)

Justin Rose made slow starts on Thursday and Friday. Not today.

Another birdie for the 40-year-old Englishman, chipping about six feet short of the hole on 2 and confidently nailing his putt, will be leaving his rivals already feeling queasy when they clock the leaderboard.

That one-shot overnight lead? It has already moved to three.

  15. Postpublished at 19:52 BST 10 April 2021

    Thomas -6, Finau -4 (4)

Justin Thomas was installed by many as the new favourite going into the weekend.

The American misses the green on the par-three fourth, but that wedge game is looking strong. Another up and down saves par.

  16. Birdies for Harman & Leishmanpublished at 19:51 BST 10 April 2021

    Harman -6, Leishman -6

The second proves a good hole for Brian Harman and his playing partner Marc Leishman.

Australia's Leishman atones for a wayward tee shot by playing a superb iron shot through the trees before pitching out of the near bunker to eight feet for birdie.

Harman also finds the same bunker with his second and lands his ball four feet from the pin to give himself a tap in.

  17. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -6 (1)

On to the par-five second for our leader Rose. The pin is tucked into the far left corner today, meaning going right will open up the green.

That's the route which Justin Thomas successfully took a few moments ago and Rose, after a slightly short tee shot, follows a similar path.

A clean second shot is just short of the bunker on the front right of the green.

Good chance here for a birdie-birdie start.

  18. Postpublished at 19:47 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -6, Wiesberger -5 (3)

Jordan Spieth takes on the green with his driver at three and is another to run off slightly to the left. He clips a wedge nice and close, but a birdie putt from three feet lips out and the American will have to settle for par.

  19. Bogey for Schauffelepublished at 19:45 BST 10 April 2021

    Matsuyama -4, Schauffele -4 (5)

Xander Schauffele started par, birdie, par, birdie but sees that pattern end on the fifth.

The American finds the sand down the left off the tee and drops a shot after leaving himself with a 34-footer for par. Still no movement on the leaderboard from Hideki Matsuyama, who has opened up with five straight pars.

  20. Where are DJ and Rory?published at 19:44 BST 10 April 2021

    Johnson +5, McIlroy +6 (MC)

If you've not been following the opening two days at Augusta, you may be wondering where Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy are today.

The pair - two of the sport's biggest names - did not make the halfway cut.

American Johnson, the defending champion and world number one, finished five over par after the opening two rounds, but must stick around at Augusta to hand over the Green Jacket tomorrow.

Northern Ireland's McIlroy finished a shot worse off as his latest bid to become the sixth man to complete a career Grand Slam ended in a whimper.
