If England see the replays we've seen, I think they'd understand why it's been given not out.

Root is arguing with the umpire, Broad is arguing with the umpire, Stokes is shaking his head. England have got to be careful here.

England might blow a fuse here.

Stokes initially caught it, then it looked like the ball hit the ground while it was in his hands.

Stokes is laughing, all of Broad, Anderson and Joe Root are giving the on-field umpire what for.

Stuart Broad has bowled two balls and now everything has stopped because some of the lights aren't on. Without them, it's pretty dark.

The ball isn't going around in circles but there is enough there for Anderson to be confident of getting a wicket or two.

Rohit somehow gets through the first one.

I know we'll talk a lot about rotation, etc, but in this Test the batsmen England have left out have been dropped, not rotated.

This is their first-choice top six. You can say Bairstow has only just returned, but Crawley also missed two Tests and was the highest scorer.

Three early wickets, or 10 early wickets?

Anderson is already bowling rozzers, nipping it away from a groping Rohit Sharma. There's less than 20 minutes for India to survive until tea.

England need to get three early wickets here to even start putting a bit of pressure on India.

I had a look to see other times England have been bowled out so cheaply in the first innings of the match. I thought it couldn't have happened for a while.

    How wrong I was. 58 v New Zealand in 2018, 85 v Ireland in 2019.

Anyway, James Anderson has the ball...

I make it six batsmen dismissed playing for non-existent turn. Straight-breaks, I think they're called.
