Joe Root will be happy if England get get them five down by the close of play. But you don't win many games after being bowled out for 112.

Mark Burt: The wheels on the bus, that England management threw Moeen under, have well and truly fallen off.

There is enough movement, seam and swing to show that England can get early wickets. But they won't if they get frustrated and angry at the umpires and believe everything is going against them.
Even the Mumbai Indians are trolling Ben Stokes after that catch/non-catch...

I said at 8:10am on the first day of the last Test that England were doomed.
Well, I'm saying it again - England are doomed.
I've just seen a replay of Zak Crawley's cover drive this morning. Happier times for an England fan.

Metal Micky: From the replay it looked clear that the ball was grounded.
The Supreme Meme: Again Root absolutely has a point here. That should have been properly looked at from multiple angles, just like Leach's wicket was.
Matt Moorton: While it ended up probably being the right decision, the third umpire gave it not out once the fingers were under the ball and didn’t roll it on long enough to when it was maybe not out (which the players haven’t seen). Still within their rights to question it.

Thanks Steph. Hopefully you don't return out of form for one of the biggest matches of your career.
Rest and rotation in effect at the BBC. I'm taking the rest of the series off. Here's Matt Henry.

This is the first time England have been bowled out for under 200 in four consecutive innings since the 1909 Ashes.

England will be looking at that catch over and over again. If they've got any problems with the third umpire, or think he didn't look at enough replays, then they will obviously try and get that sorted out but they can't change the decision.

India get through to the break with all 10 wickets in hand.
England with all the problems to solve.

We've seen two angles which show it was not out. Why would we need to see more angles?
One more over to go before tea, or whatever we're calling it. Very quiet in Ahmedabad, as if the crowd know this is a tough time for India. Then again, they might just think this game is already done.

If Root, Stokes or Broad had been given out like that they would be very unhappy.
England have gone a bit Kohli in the past over or so. It wasn't right for Kohli to harass the umpire in the previous Test and England have to be careful not to do the same here.
A few things might be building up. Poor performance, all the fuss about the rotation, feeling like the home conditions and officials are against them.

Broad is still going on at the umpire. They need to get it of their head this idea they're being turned over.
Apparently the replays are being shown on the big screen inside the ground, but England are still remonstrating with the on-field umpires. The frustration of the match situation probably isn't helping.
