Just about. Don't forget this is just a 20-minute break not the usual 40-minute lunch interval. England will be back under the spotlight soon enough.

Here's Stephan Shemilt to take you through the next period.

India have bowled nicely. England, apart from Crawley, haven't played well enough. The key wicket was Root, it's a massive moment. India are right in the box seat.

Pope is pulled back and forth by his puppeteer Axar, limbs awkwardly moving in all directions. He survives to the break, just about.

That brings to an end a very good session for India.

Axar is two balls into the final over of the session.

  8. Eng 80-4published at 26 overs

Ashwin thinks he has bowled Stokes and looked to be off in celebration before realising the ball had narrowly missed off stump. Stokes walks away in an attempt to settle himself. India are right on it.

It's the rhythm of play. Crawley hasn't had much of the strike since Stokes arrived.

Crawley lbw Axar 53 (Eng 80-4)

England are in huge trouble now. Zak Crawley's dazzling knock is over. One ball from Axar turns big and the next goes straight on, beats the inside edge and hits his pad.

He has a long talk with Stokes about a review but eventually decides against it. Probably wise.

It's perfect for Ashwin to have Stokes out there.

  17. Eng 80-3published at 24 overs

Stokes holds Ashwin up at the end of the over, pointing to something at the top of the huge stands. Kohli comes in for a polite word. Both men - two superstars of word cricket - are smiling.

It seems Stokes will take an aggressive approach against Ashwin.

They are showing Kohli's celebrations again. It was the full Brett Lee chainsaw halfway down the pitch.

Stokes keeps the strike at the end of Axar's over by sweeping a single. The 20-minute tea break is in 12 minutes.
