Kayden Jackson is in from the off to make his debut for Bradford City after signing on a two-and-half-year deal on Friday.

Fellow newbie Paul Mullin also is in the squad and could make his first appearance from the bench.

Aden Baldwin, Bobby Pointon and Josh Neufville make up the rest of the four changes from the loss to Lincoln.

Harrison Ashby and Tyreik Wright make way to the bench but there is no Ciaran Kelly nor Tommy Leigh.

Doncaster make a triple change as James Maxwell, George Broadbent and Billy Sharp all make the line-up.

Neil Byrne, Jack Senior and Francis Okoronkwo all miss out on the trip.

The City manager reflects on three straight League One defeats as he previews Doncaster.

If you were to go off the league table, you might a match against promotion-chasing Bradford City is one relegation-fighters Doncaster Rovers would dread. But maybe not.

Having each won 11 games from their 28 meetings, the two sides are balanced in history but it's Rovers who have won their past three against each other on the bounce.

The Bantams are also in a spot of bother as it stands, losing four of their five league matches to slip from title contenders to having to watch they don't fall out the top six.

But their position still tells a story of success in their return to League One and it's a much better story than that of today's opponents.

"Ultimately there were four new clubs at this level and we're the only ones anywhere near competing at the top end of the table which I reminded the players of before the game," Bantams boss Graham Alexander told BBC Radio Leeds.

"The strides we've made this season don't get washed away by two bad results [before tonight] and the same still stands for me."

Only Huddersfield will need to watch their backs when it comes to being ousted from the top six this afternoon.

But with a healthy five goal difference, it's going to take quite the performance from both chasers Stevenage and Terriers' opponents Peterborough to do so.

Though at the bottom end, things are much more interesting.

Only Port Vale is guaranteed to end today in the bottom four, while four of those teams vying to be above the relegation zone this afternoon face top five opponents.
