Second-placed Lincoln City face a trip to struggling Wigan and Barnsley entertain Stevenage with the away side looking to close the gap to the play-offs.

Leyton Orient host Port Vale with the away side 12 points from safety – Rotherham just one place above them in 23rd travel to Exeter.

Mansfield Town host play-off hopefuls Wycombe who sit eighth, six points behind Huddersfield Town, who themselves journey to Peterborough.

Stockport are currently on a run of four unbeaten in the league as they host Plymouth who are also enjoying a positive string of results with their last loss coming on Boxing Day.

  2. 'Another challenge successfully navigated by Bolton'published at 14:55 GMT 31 January

    FT: AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score commentator at Cherry Red Records Stadium

This was a really robust and committed display from Bolton Wanderers with their fans chanting the name of their jubilant boss Steven Schumacher at the end.

And there was no need for any late goals this time for Wanderers as AFC Wimbledon struggled to impose themselves all game.

Corey-Blackett Taylor’s strike always felt like it would be enough. And a tidy goal it was too - a swift, incisive breakaway - an instinctive, measured assist from John McAtee - and a composed finish from the Bolton new boy.

It is another challenge successfully navigated by Bolton, led by the ambitious and pragmatic Schumacher.

  3. Luton and Blackpool both seeking to regain their composurepublished at 14:54 GMT 31 January

    Luton v Blackpool (15:00 GMT)

Neither Luton nor Blackpool are in the best of moods going into their clash at Kenilworth Road.

Luton have lost their past two league games - three if you also include their EFL trophy loss to League Two's Swindon Town - and are now six points adrift of the play-offs.

But for Blackpool, things are more treacherous. They've lost four of their past League One games to sit only two points above the relegation line.

Today's encounter is going to be a test of the out-of-form, out-of-sorts and, if they don't start pulling things together soon, out of time.

  4. Postpublished at 14:52 GMT 31 January

Burton Albion v Cardiff (15:00 GMT)

    Naz Premji
BBC Final Score commentator at Pirelli Stadium

Table topping Cardiff will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the League 1 table as they head to the Pirelli Stadium today.

Brian Barry-Murphy's side are four points clear and come to Staffordshire full of confidence to take on a Burton Albion side still in the thick of a relegation battle at the bottom of the league.

The Bluebirds will be looking to continue their current form and they have what looks like the perfect promotion recipe - they are scoring loads of goals (nine in their past five matches) and have kept the most clean sheets in League 1 this campaign (11).

They are also winning on the road being ranked second in the league when it comes to away form.

Everything points to an away win and the visiting fans will be hoping this side can emulate the one that came here in the league back in August 2017 when Kenneth Zohore scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 Cardiff win.

The Brewers are one of only a few sides to have gone to Cardiff and won and if they can get the job done today they would complete the unlikeliest of doubles against the side that looked destined for an immediate return back to the Championship.

  5. Cardiff hope to make amends for September clash with Brewerspublished at 14:50 GMT 31 January

    Burton v Cardiff (15:00 GMT)

The last time Cardiff City and Burton Albion met back in September, the Bluebirds took 77% of the possession, had more the twice the amount of shots [20 to nine] and four times more of those on target [8 to 2] - but they didn't win the game.

No, the Brewers took a shock 1-0 win after Charlie Webster fired home a winner in the 82nd minute to take themselves off the bottom place on the League One table and deny the Bluebirds a spot at the top.

Now Cardiff are cosy at the apex, but Lincoln are chasing the league leaders' tail with some fervour and Burton are desperate to get above that dreaded relegation line.

This is not a time to get comfortable.

"It was a very difficult game when we played against them in our own stadium," Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy said. "They clearly showed how dangerous a team they are and have continued to do so.

"They've had some brilliant results against the top teams and obviously were very competitive in the game against Bolton on Tuesday.

"It's going to be a really tough game and one that we're really looking forward to."

That Tyreik Wright winner for Bradford was an absolute beauty.

He struck it as perfectly as he could possibly have wished for, such a sweet connection.

  9. 'A moment of quality to win it'published at 14:38 GMT 31 January

    FT: Bradford 1-0 Doncaster

    Mark Bower
Former Bradford City defender on BBC Radio Leeds

I think first and foremost I think we deserved to win the game, we were on top and created all the chances.

Based on the last few games you'd take a performance over a win but we got both today.

I think the press was much better and defensively we were so much more physical and dominant - they kept asking questions which is something City have not done in the last few games.

I think the game ebbed and flowed, both teams threw bodies forward but the goal was a moment of quality and win it.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:35 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 2-2 MK Dons

And an absorbing game is brought to a close with a burst from Kirsty Dowle's whistle.

Jaze Kabia gets his 13th and 14th goals of the campaign in all competitions to continue an eight match unbeaten run for the Mariners.

Callum Paterson converted a controversial penalty award early and Marvin Ekpiteta shot through a sea of legs to give MK Dons a 2-0 lead but it is the home side who will leave with heads held higher.

Kabia will finish the hero but had he not decided to go for George McEachran's shot in the first half, heading in from half a yard out and getting flagged for offside, he could have had a hat-trick and Grimsby the win.

David Artell, who was sitting in the stands seeing out a suspension, will be pleased with the comeback.

    Bradford 1-0 Doncaster

    Tyreik WhiteImage source, Shutterstock

Tyreik Wright's spectacular volley puts an end to Bradford's three-match losing streak.

The midfielder slammed Josh Neufville's pass home in the air to produce that something special that meant Doncaster Rovers were banished back to the bottom four.

Will that settle the nerves of the home fans? It was closer than they would have liked but at least they know the magic is still buzzing around the Valley Parade.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:27 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 3-0 Newport

A comfortable win for the hosts who put some clear daylight between themselves and the relegation scrap.

A superb home debut for on loan Tottenham U21 star Yusuf Akramrich helped put Rovers in control with two first half strikes.

A third from Fabrizio Cavegn sealed the deal two minutes from the end of normal time.

Rovers move to 24 points with Newport unmoved from the 20 they had this morning, still in bother.

  13. 'It's last chance saloon'published at 14:27 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 1-0 Doncaster

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

    It's last chance saloon now.

We said we'd hope they get one more but they're going to need another one.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:27 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 3-0 Newport

Hosts make a change late with Kane Thompson-Sommers on for Clinton Mola.

  15. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

Bolton's top form continues as they beat a misfiring AFC Wimbledon to close in on top two.

The Dons had plenty of shots but none of their 14 attempts managed to be sent on target and that might just put them in the bottom four come the end of the day.

As for the Trotters, they are now just three points behind second placed Lincoln as it stands. Pressure. On.

  16. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:25 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 3-0 Newport

There will be nine minutes added after a succession of injuries in the second half. Another 90 is what's needed for the visitors.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:23 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 2-2 MK Dons

Ten minutes has just gone up on the board at Blundell Park much to the amazement of pretty much everyone. Someone must have been taking notes but it seems on the high side.

    Who wants to nab this?

  18. 'Let's hope we get one more chance'published at 14:23 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 1-0 Doncaster

    Lee Turnbull
Former Doncaster midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

Rovers have had some wonderful opportunities to score in this game.

I think everyone will be disappointed if they don't get anything from this, but you can't take anything away from the quality of the strike from Wright.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:21 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 2-2 MK Dons

Grimsby's Justin Amaluzor and Geza Turi replace Andy Cook and the injured Jamie Walker, respectively. Ticking down towards a draw that would suit everyone at Blundell Park.

There's an additional eight minutes to at the Valley Parade. Nail-biting.
