Yusuf Akhamrich makes it a dream start for the hosts, the Tottenham loanee putting Rovers in front.

He needed two attempts after his first effort was blocked by his own player Fabrizio Cavegn but he takes the second, smashing it into the top left corner.

A first start for Rovers and a first goal for the 20-year-old.

It's all about the debutants today, isn't it?

Corey Blackett-Taylor scores his first goal for the Trotters on debut by firing past Dons keeper Nathan Bishop following a lightning quick counter-attack.

    Lovely stuff.

  3. 'Thankfully he got the decision right'published at 12:46 GMT 31 January

The fourth official has clearly indicated that it was handball and the goal is ruled out.

Once it had hit arm it's a composed finish but it's handball.

Thankfully he got the decision right.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:45 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Oh, that's heart-breaking for Kayden Jackson.

The new Bradford signing thinks he's made the dream debut when he chests down the ball in the box and nestles it in the net for the opener.

But confusion follows the celebrations until finally the conclusion comes - Jackson is punished for the ball hitting his forearm before he struck and his goal is chalked off for handball.

Unsurprisingly, there are not a lot of happy faces around the Valley Parade.

  5. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 0-0 MK Dons

Boos all round as the home side are reduced to nine men for an MK Dons set piece with the two centre halves stranded on the sidelines and unable to come back on following treatment on the pitch.

They deal with it comfortably enough adn actually break forward before the referee waves them back on.

  6. Postpublished at 12:41 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Newport

Ciaran Brennan goes close for the visitors but misses to the left with a shot from close range. He might have done a bit better there after the ball came to him after a corner.

Bright enough start for the Welsh side.

  7. Postpublished at 12:41 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

That'll be disappointing for Doncaster's Harry Clifton.

Luke Molyneux provides a brilliant pass that sets Clifton up nicely but the midfielder's strike is wild to waste the attack.

  8. 'A frantic feel to this game'published at 12:39 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

    Mark Bower
Former Bradford City defender on BBC Radio Leeds

A frantic feel to this game so far.

It's back to front and end-to-end.

Early on in the game but it's a good start from City, they're trying to break the lines.

  9. Postpublished at 12:37 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Both teams are hoping to have an early bite in this one by punting the ball into the boxes either side of the pitch.

The attacks are soon dispelled but there's a hungry feel around the Valley this afternoon. How soon will we see a goal?

  10. Another late show coming up for Bolton?published at 12:32 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Bolton

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score commentator at The Cherry Red Records Stadium

It’s nearly seven years since Bolton Wanderers fell out of the top two tiers of English football. So just how close are they to the end of the road back under Steven Schumacher?

They will hope to present further evidence here that they have the raw credentials needed to get over the line after past near misses.

Playing catchup to the top two, Schumacher has lauded the energy and spirit in his side in the wake of nine added time goals scored this season alone.

Rob Apter and Corey Blackett-Taylor go straight in to the Bolton starting XI here after joining on loan this week as the club navigates the loss of star man Amario Cozier-Duberry to injury.

Bolton go to Lincoln in two weeks' time. The onus for them is on continued momentum building ahead of that potentially pivotal game.

    Relegation six pointer anyone?

Bristol Rovers and Newport come into this contest 22nd and 23rd in League Two with the non league chasm opening up menacingly beneath their feet.

And perhaps understandably neither bring confidence or form into this lunchtime clash.

The Welsh strugglers have lost three of their last four including a home tie against Accrington Stanley last time out (going down 4-1).

Newport have actually fared better away from home at Rodney Parade winning three on the road compared to two at home and Rovers have not exactly made the Memorial Ground a fortress with nine losses in 13 matches there this season.

But the home side have lost three on the spin by a 1-0 scoreline including against high fliers MK Dons last Tuesday night. So for all the confidence they can take from tight scorelines they will take none from a failure to score in three matches.

Plenty to play for with a flip flop in positions possible with a home win.

  16. Mariners look to extend hot streak against MK Donspublished at 12:20 GMT 31 January

Only Cambridge United can match Grimsby's run of form with both sides posting five League Two wins on the bounce.

Throw in a third round FA Cup win though in the middle of that run (Cambridge went out at the same stage) and The Mariners are the hottest team in town at the moment.

David Artell's side will need all of that heat and more against second placed MK Dons who sit six points behind leaders Bromley having won their last three and are unbeaten in four.

A 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Bristol Rovers last Tuesday was workmanlike not impressive but just two defeats in 14 matches stretching back to the start of November shows how difficult they are to beat.

Grimsby sit ninth on 43 points three points off the play off places ahead as they try to take their winning streak to eight in all competitions and post a fourth consecutive win at home.

  17. Bromley lead the waypublished at 12:18 GMT 31 January

    League Two table

Bromley top League Two with a healthy six-point gap but there could be a few changes in the race for the automatic positions.

Just two points separate Walsall in sixth and MK Dons in second - Chesterfield could also fire their way into the play off spots with a victory.

A huge clash at the foot of the table could also see struggling Newport County get themselves out of the bottom two, only Harrogate Town are set to remain in the drop.

  18. Still to come in League One...published at 12:16 GMT 31 January

It's a whole new look for the attacking line for AFC Wimbledon after their draw against Rotherham.

In comes Nathan Asiimwe, Antwoine Hackford, James Tilley and Callum Maycock as their four changes.

Patrick Bauer, Myles Hippolyte, Junior Nkeng and Matty Stevens all move to the bench.

New Bolton signing Rob Apter is chucked straight into the XI after joining on loan from Charlton Athletic on Wednesday.

Derby loanee Corey Blackett-Taylor is also in starting line-up to make his debut with Jordi Osei-Tutu completing the XI.

Cyrus Christie is on the bench but there's no Max Conway, while Aaron Morley has returned to Wycombe Wanderers.

  20. Bolton tireless in promotion push rampagepublished at 12:12 GMT 31 January

AFC Wimbledon v Bolton (12:30 GMT)

    Media caption,

Steven Schumacher on the transfer window, one year in charge and facing AFC Wimbledon.

"It's been a mad month," Bolton Wanderers boss Steven Schumacher told BBC Radio Manchester. "That's [the trip to AFC Wimbledon] our 11th game since Boxing Day."

It's true this part of the season can be hectic and punishing but Bolton appear to be using this gruelling period to hit their stride.

They've won three of their past four league matches, drawing the other, to put themselves not just in good stead in the play-off race but also hot on the heels of an automatic promotion place.

Looking to upset their rhythm is an AFC Wimbledon side in the midst of a tight relegation battle and without a win against the the Trotters in their past seven meetings (D4 L3).

Not to mention both their past two encounters has seen the Dons take some heavy defeats - a 3-0 loss in the reverse fixture in September and then 4-0 back in 2022.

This is looking pretty for Bolton but with Lincoln and Cardiff seeming unflappable at the top, they will need to keep consistent if they are to have any hopes of stealing a top two spot.
