  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Bar a disallowed goal from Bantams debutant Kayden Jackson, it's been a rather tame affair at the Valley Parade so far.

Jackson's strike was contested for a handball after hitting his forearm in the run up and the referee agreed, bringing parity back to the score line.

In fact, Bradford were kept in the game after an error from their keeper was bailed out by Matthew Pennington on the line to deny Billy Sharp.

A bit scrappy all in all.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

Bolton ahead at the break after Corey Blackett-Taylor makes an impression on debut.

The winger, who has joined the Trotters on loan from Derby, produced the end product following a blistering counter-attack began by fellow newbie Rob Apter.

They look ruthless on the break. AFC Wimbledon will want to avoid their fate in the reverse fixture, that saw them pick up two red cards while Bolton fetched a further two goals in the second half.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 2-0 Newport

The home side will be well pleased with their position as half time arrives and in Yusuf Akhamrich they have the standout performer.

The youngster is combining well with Shaqai Forde whose movement from left to right is giving Newport's defence a headache.

It already looks a long road back for the Welsh side who could easily have been further behind than they are.

  4. Postpublished at 13:17 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

Bolton debutant Rob Apter is really getting stuck in now.

First he's blocked, then his next shot goes just slightly askew all before sending another effort off-target at the back post.

He wants to make his name known by his new set of fans today too and at this rate, he might just do it.

    Bristol Rovers 2-0 Newport

Step aside Lionel Messi, Yusuf Akhamrich has arrived in town.

    Daniel, Bristol

The Bristol Rovers new boy is making a big impression! Two wonderful goals on his debut - Gas fans will be hoping this is just the start.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:14 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 0-2 MK Dons

For Grimsby. But it's turned down, much to the disgust of the home fans.

Andy Cook goes down in the area chasing a ball under pressure from Marvin Ekpiteta but Kirsty Dowle waves away the shouts.

Looking at the replays that looked shoulder to shoulder and Dowle was right.

Try telling that to the home fans who are on full on conspiracy mode.

  7. Postpublished at 13:12 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

Bolton look so dangerous on the counter-attack and it is new signing Rob Apter whose powering it down the field.

He sets it off to Corey Blackett-Taylor, who tries to get it through to John McAtee but just sends it a little in front of his mark.

  8. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:10 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 0-2 MK Dons

Grimsby should be 1-2 now but for a rush of blood to the head from Jaze Kabia.

George McEachran hits the ball from about 22 yards out, left side of the area following a corner from the left and his effort beats everyone as it sails perfectly into the goal.

Everyone, that is, aside from Kabia who races from the back stick to head in from about half a yard out only to be correctly flagged offside.

Had he left that, the Mariners would be on the scoresheet. Tense half time of glowering between the two across the dressing room is in the offing.

  9. Postpublished at 13:10 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Sam Walker, you are a lucky man.

The Bantams keeper departs his line and gets his gloves on the ball but he's so clumsy. Letting it slip through his grasps to offer a shot on a plate for Billy Sharp.

Sharp lives up to his name and pounces but Bradford defender Matthew Pennington has come to his team-mates rescue and puts his body on the line to provide a vital block.

    Grimsby 0-2 MK Dons

Embarrassing by MK Dons diving over nothing and gets the penalty - FUMING!

    Steve, Grimsby

That penalty call did look a little dubious... Grimsby fans not best pleased and the Dons have since gone on to get a second.

  11. Postpublished at 13:06 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Josh Neufville strikes the ball with ferocity and Rovers keeper Zander Clark would has absolutely no chance of keeping that out.

That's if it wasn't flashing wide that is.

  12. 'Newport just look all over the place'published at 13:06 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 2-0 Newport

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

It's a great start for the loan man on his first start

Newport just look all over the place, defensively they look so frail.

If Rovers can continue to go forward, there are plenty of goals for them.

  13. Postpublished at 13:03 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

Bradford's Aden Baldwin takes aim but what he's aiming at? Not quite sure given it's drifted well away from goal.

There haven't been too many pops at goal so far. Could be some nerves at play here.

Bradford haven't lost successive games at home since March 2024. That's a hard record to upkeep, especially when you're suffering through a blip in form.

  14. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 2-0 Newportpublished at 13:01 GMT 31 January

    Yusuf Akhamrich (29 mins)

What a start for the Spurs loanee. It's two.

A long ball over the top from Alfie Kilgour is brought down by Yusuf Akhamrich like he is wearing slippers.

For his second trick he tucks it past Jordan Wright for his second goal of the game.

    Fantastic take and finish.

What a way to introduce yourself to the home fans.

  15. 'The game has gone a bit quiet'published at 13:00 GMT 31 January

    Bradford 0-0 Doncaster

    Mark Bower
Former Bradford City defender on BBC Radio Leeds

A bit of frustration creeping in from the home support.

The game has gone a bit quiet compared to that electric start.

  16. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 0-2 MK Donspublished at 13:00 GMT 31 January

    Marvin Ekpiteta (28 mins)

A dream opening for MK Dons and they double their lead.

Failure to clear lines after from a corner on the right side and the ball falls to Marvin Ekpiteta on the right edge of the box.

His left-footed shot goes through a sea of legs in slow motion and takes a slight deflection off Ciaran Brennan and past Jackson Smith.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:58 GMT 31 January

    Grimsby 0-1 MK Dons

Reece Staunton is on for Jayden Sweeney at left back for the hosts in a like-for-like switch. Injury rather than tactical by the way.

  18. Blackett-Taylor impressing on debutpublished at 12:56 GMT 31 January

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Bolton

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score commentator at Cherry Red Records Stadium

An outstanding debut for Blackett-Taylor so far.

A whirlwind of energy on the left. He took his goal so well after the incisive break from a corner Bolton had needlessly conceded.

The away side effectively benefited from their own mistake.

  19. 'They've looked very professional'published at 12:54 GMT 31 January

    Bristol Rovers 1-0 Newport

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

Newport started brightly in this game, they hit the post and put the pressure on but Bristol got the goal.

Rovers have definitely had the better of the last 15 mins since a great finish put them a goal ahead.

They've looked very professional since that goal.

  20. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 0-1 MK Donspublished at 12:53 GMT 31 January

    Callum Paterson (pen, 22 mins)

Controversial... but it is in the net and MK Dons have the lead.

Aaron Collins goes down under a bit of contact from Sam Lavelle. It looks a bit harsh to be honest but referee Kirsty Dowle points to the spot.

MK Dons had a shout earlier which was not given but they get it this time. Neither looked like penalties to be honest but... well, look at the scoreboard.

Grimsby fans are and they are not happy.
