All over. Just a second defeat of the season for Championship leaders Coventry.

The Sky Blues scored 50 goals in their opening 18 games but they haven't breached the stoic Ipswich defence today, with Christian Walton in inspired form in the Town goal.

Sindre Walle Egeli's fine finish just before the break, George Hirst's second on the hour and Ivan Azon's last-ditch third ensured the points which have Kieran McKenna's men eyeing a crack at the automatic promotion places once again.

These two meet again on 29 December, mark your cards, that should be a cracker, but where will the teams stand by then?

The pitch at Ewood is a symbol of years of managed decline at Rovers. A few quid on some forks and sponges, and another abandoned game on the cards.

    Duncan Brown, Manchester

Surely the pitch situation has to be looked at more seriously at Blackburn now? 2 games called off in 4 months due to rain... Joke at this level!

Coventry have relied on outscoring teams in recent weeks but you can't do it week in week out and expect to win the Championship. One clean sheet in their last eight games in the league!
