The away side get their reward for a fast start in the second half!

Callum Wright sends Raphael through down the left who is able to compose himself before just dinking the ball past the onrushing Terriers keeper Lee Nicholls.

  2. goal

GOAL: Salford 1-2 Colchesterpublished at 13:39 GMT 13 December 2025

    Ellis Iandolo (51 mins)

    Colchester go back in front!

Moments after seeing the ball hit the frame of their own goal, the U's take full advantage of a bit of good fortune.

Left-back Ellis Iandolo sees his cross cut out but the ball falls kindly straight back to him and he fires home from inside the box!

    Huddersfield 1-0 Wigan

Right as we get underway in this game we have a couple of points to mark.

Wigan have made a switch at half-time, Dara Costelloe has come on for Luke Robinson.

And Huddersfield's Lynden Gooch was shown a yellow card one minute into the second half.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:36 GMT 13 December 2025

    Salford 1-1 Colchester

What an effort from Luke Garbutt! A sensational free-kick with his left foot which beats Matt Macey in the Colchester goal but hits the post and goes out for a goal kick.

Salford could not have gone closer to retaking the lead.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:34 GMT 13 December 2025

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Mansfield

Mansfield boss Nigel Clough has rejigged his line-up at the interval, with Stephen McLaughlin on in place of Baily Cargill, who was booked during the first half.

No changes for Wimbledon as yet, but they'll surely have to turn to the bench if the creative well remains dry.

  6. Postpublished at 13:34 GMT 13 December 2025

    Salford 1-1 Colchester

No changes for either side at the break.

Salford are awarded a free-kick around 25 yards from the Colchester goal. Opportunity this.

  11. 'Fragility at the back, and little creativity in attack'published at 13:31 GMT 13 December 2025

    HT: Bristol Rovers 0-3 Swindon

    Alistair Durden
    BBC Radio Bristol commentator

There were boos all around from the home fans as the referee blew for half-time.

Darrell Clarke needs the team talk of all team talks in his managerial career to save this one, there really hasn't been anything for Bristol Rovers.

There has been fragility at the back, and little creativity in attack, leading to very little chance of a goal.

  12. 'A lot to change for Wigan'published at 13:27 GMT 13 December 2025

    HT: Huddersfield 1-0 Wigan

    Reece Brown
Former Huddersfield Town midfielder on BBC Radio Manchester

I don't think Huddersfield Town played brilliantly, but a game of football is just a game and you have to win and get three points - that is what Huddersfield are doing.

They will go in at the end of the half feeling pretty stress free. I don't think Ryan Lowe will be happy with Wigan at all, and a lot is going to have to change in this second half for them to go and win this game.

  13. Mutiny in the air at The Piratespublished at 13:25 GMT 13 December 2025

    HT: Bristol Rovers 0-3 Swindon

Fan protest banner at Bristol RoversImage source, Shutterstock

This feels like the day when things really bubble over at Bristol Rovers.

Disgruntled fans unfurled a banner in the South Stand at The Mem reading Speak Up or Sell Up - the name of the protest group set up in opposition to the Kuwaiti owners, the AlSaeed family.

Gas fans are frustrated about the lack of communication from the owners of late and the steady decline of the team under their two years of ownership... a decline which seems to be gathering pace in recent weeks, and in the first half this afternoon.

There is a mutinous air in the stands this afternoon too, and it's not all based on Darrell Clarke's team and their current losing streak, which looks likely to reach 10 games this afternoon for the first time in club history.

Could Darrell Clarke quit/walkout at halftime? Would that be a first?

    Chloe, Wirral

Good question, Chloe. Off the top of my head I can recall Tottenham deciding to part ways with Martin Jol at half-time of a UEFA Cup home game in 2007.

Get in touch with any more memories of infamous managerial exits?

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 GMT 13 December 2025

    Bristol Rovers 0-3 Swindon

Aaron Drinan celebrates the third Swindon goalImage source, Shutterstock

More boos ring out at half-time with the home side three goals and a man down at the break.

This West Country derby has been all about Swindon Town so far and the visitors broke the deadlock just after the quarter of an hour mark through Joe Snowdon's excellent fizzing drive from well outside the box.

Ollie Clarke then doubled the advantage when his near post flick on found the far corner before Aaron Drinan expertly found the back of the net with a curling effort into the top corner.

Rovers' first-half misery was then compounded when Barnsley loanee Kacper Lopata was shown a straight red card for a dangerous lunge, leaving the referee with little option.

Rovers boss Darrell Clarke has a massive team talk on his hands now.

Murray Wallace celebrates the opening goalImage source, Shutterstock

Referee Darren Drysdale blows his whistle to end the first half.

Huddersfield go into the break ahead thanks to Murray Wallace's header just after the half hour mark.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 GMT 13 December 2025

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Mansfield

It's been lively enough, but there's a distinct lack of quality when the ball gets into the vicinity of either penalty area.

Marcus Browne might have done better with Nathan Asiimwe's cross just before the break, but Wimbledon are yet to register a shot on target.

Mansfield have managed one - which came in the opening minute, when Lucas Akins was denied by Nathan Bishop.

We need a goal or two in the second half!

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 GMT 13 December 2025

    Salford 1-1 Colchester

Half-time and we are all-square at Salford following an even first period.

Ammies striker Kadeem Harris cancelled out Harry Anderson's early opener for Colchester in a frantic first 11 minutes.

The match has settled down since then and Harris has gone close to grabbing a second of the game as the two sides have played some good stuff following positive results in recent weeks.

    Good game this.

  20. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 GMT 13 December 2025

We are into five minutes of additional time at the end of the first half.

Not sure if Bristol Rovers will want them or not.
