  1. 'The game hasn't really settled down'published at 12:45 GMT 13 December 2025

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Swindon

    Lee Mansell
Former Bristol Rovers midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

The game hasn't really settled down yet and Swindon have had the majority of controlled possession in this game.

Even with the Swindon possession you wouldn't say Swindon have been able to really test the Bristol goal yet.

An instant response from the Ammies!

The ball finds its way to Kadeem Harris on the left who hits a left-footed strike across goal and inside the far post - a great finish!

Colchester's lead lasted just three minutes.

Not happy times at The Mem, with Rovers coming into this game off the back of a club record nine straight league defeats... but what do you think needs to change, Gas fans?

  4. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 13 December 2025

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Mansfield

Easy to see that both these teams are low on confidence - the ball is being given away an awful lot, although the tempo's been high so far.

Half-chance for Wimbledon's Nathan Asiimwe, who cut inside his man but fired well over on his left foot, while Will Evans had a pop from distance at the other end and scuffed the finish wide.

    Harry Anderson (8 mins)

    Colchester hit the front!

The visitors have started the stronger and now have the goal their early work deserved.

Arthur Read hits a lovely bending effort with his left foot which strikes the base of the post but there was Harry Anderson who continued his run to turn home the rebound.

  6. Postpublished at 12:35 GMT 13 December 2025

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Swindon

There is a great atmosphere inside The Memorial Stadium and in the opening stages the home side get their foot on the ball to try and calm the nerves following a club record nine defeats in a row before today.

Tom Lockyer looks to play the ball down the line for the hosts but his pass is well over hit and goes out for a goal-kick.

  7. 'What a messy start'published at 12:34 GMT 13 December 2025

    Huddersfield 0-0 Wigan

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

The referee is already getting it from the fans here, and it will cary on if he keeps booking players like this.

The Huddersfield fans are booing as they don't think it was a yellow, and the Wigan fans think Murray Wallace should be off the pitch.

What a messy start to the game!

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:33 GMT 13 December 2025

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Mansfield

Big, big chance for Mansfield very early on.

Louis Reed intercepts a stray Wimbledon ball and slips in Lucas Akins, but Nathan Bishop stands his ground and denies the striker in a one on one.

Will the Dons make their visitors regret that miss?

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:32 GMT 13 December 2025

    Huddersfield 0-0 Wigan

An early booking for the hosts as Huddersfield defender Murray Wallace is shown a yellow card for a poor challenge.

  17. Out of form Dons and Stags seek some reliefpublished at 12:16 GMT 13 December 2025

AFC Wimbledon v Mansfield (12:30 GMT)

AFC Wimbledon manager Johnnie JacksonImage source, Shutterstock Editorial

Don’t waste your time consulting the form book for a steer on which way this might go… because neither AFC Wimbledon nor Mansfield can claim to be in any sort of form right now.

The Dons have tumbled out of the top six after taking just a single point from their past five games, while Mansfield – eyeing the play-off spots themselves after a five-match unbeaten run at the end of October – have slipped to 16th.

Nigel Clough’s side have lost four games in a row, failing to score in the past two of those against Cardiff and Bolton, although the FA Cup provided some relief as the Stags saw off Accrington on penalties to advance to a third-round tie at Sheffield United.

It’s a similar story for Wimbledon, whose winless sequence in recent weeks includes a 5-0 hammering at the hands of struggling Peterborough.

Again, though, the south Londoners found some solace in cup football, stunning Cardiff with a 5-1 victory in the EFL Trophy, centred around a four-goal salvo from Aron Sasu.

So the message seems a clear one for both teams – treat this as a cup tie and you might just get your season back on track!

  18. Top half clash as Wigan head to Huddersfieldpublished at 12:14 GMT 13 December 2025

Huddersfield Town v Wigan Athletic (12:30 GMT)

Wigan Athletic head to Huddersfield Town in an early League One kick-off.

The Terriers come into this game higher in the table, currently eighth but they have struggled for form in recent weeks.

They have two losses and two draws in their past four games while the Latics only have five losses all season and have won two of their past three matches.

Huddersfield have lost four of their past five league games against Wigan, but one sole victory came in their last home match – a 1-0 win in December last year.

  19. Holloway returns to Gas in West Country derbypublished at 12:12 GMT 13 December 2025

Bristol Rovers v Swindon (12:30 GMT)

    Ian Holloway.Image source, Shutterstock

Ian Holloway returns to Bristol Rovers for the first time as a manager with another club since leaving The Gas almost 25 years ago.

His Swindon side will be aiming to heap more misery on his old club, who are currently on a dismal run of nine league defeats in a row - a new club record.

The Robins go into today's West Country derby in the promotion places and have won both of their previous two visits to the Memorial Stadium, looking to win three on the bounce for the first time in exactly 100 years.

The Gas have dropped to 22nd place and are now just one point above the relegation zone, following their drop from the third-tier last season, and have conceded 35 goals already this campaign - a joint-high in League Two.

Will form continue today or can Rovers seek some salvation on derby day?

  20. Free scoring Salford host Colchesterpublished at 12:10 GMT 13 December 2025

    Salford v Colchester (12:30 GMT)

Entertainers Salford City take on Colchester United this lunchtime in League Two having scored eight goals in their past two home games.

The 4-0 win in the FA Cup second round against League One Leyton Orient has breathed new life into Karl Robinson's men, who sit just inside the play-off places ahead of today's action.

They face a Colchester side who are going well themselves, picking up 10 points from the previous 12 on offer.

The U's have been good on the road of late too, winning three of their past four, their best run away from home since February 2023.
