    Chesterfield 0-0 Bromley

Will Dickson now gets behind the Bromley defence but his pullback is poor and straight to a defender.

Marcus Ifill then has to concede a corner under pressure from James Berry. Liam Mandeville whips it under the bar, but Bromley keeper Grant Smith collects.

    Decent spell from the hosts.

  2. 'Simple set-piece and Bradford switched off'published at 12:58 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-2 Cardiff

    Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

It's an awful goal to concede, Bradford switch off and allow Cardiff to do that. Graham Alexander and his players will be absolutely gutted.

All Chambers has to do is guide it into the empty net. A really poor goal.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:57 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-2 Cardiff

Bradford's Curtis Tilt has his name taken by David Rock after a pretty blatant tug back on Yousef Salech as Cardiff tried to break away in midfield.

One for the team, they call those...

  4. CLOSE!published at 12:57 GMT 17 January

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bromley

Bromley are the set-piece specialists in League Two, with 24 goals this season - four more than they've managed from open play

They win two corners in quick time, but the Spireites have managed both well enough.

After a quick break, Lee Bonis stretches to meet an Adam Lewis low cross from the left and steers it narrowly wide.

Best chance of the first 25 minutes goes to the hosts.

  5. goal

GOAL: Bradford 0-2 Cardiffpublished at 12:55 GMT 17 January

    Calum Chambers (24 mins)

    The Bluebirds are flying.

Skipper Calum Chambers sticks out a toe towards a low ball into the Bantams area from Ollie Tanner on the right of the box after a corner is worked short and it flashes low through a forest of legs and to Sam Walker's right to double the leaders' advantage.

Bradford blitzed the Bluebirds in the first half in Cardiff in September, but the visitors are turning the tables today.

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 12:54 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-1 Cardiff

The Bluebirds think they should have a penalty after Joel Bagan went down in the box after an apparent body-check from Aden Baldwin along the byline, but David Rock has a long look and waves play-on.

  7. 'Tranmere taking extra touch'published at 12:54 GMT 17 January

    Tranmere 0-0 Walsall

    Martin O’Connor
Former Walsall captain on BBC WM

Tranmere have got to get the ball in earlier, they are taking that extra touch and by then it is too late and they miss the moment.

  8. Postpublished at 12:53 GMT 17 January

    Wigan 0-0 Bolton

Bolton have dominated just about every facet of this game so far.

They have controlled more than 70% possession and have managed to test Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle twice.

The visitors are playing with real verve right now.

The hosts, it must be said, haven't really sparked to life yet.

  9. Postpublished at 12:53 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-1 Cardiff

Bantams boss Graham Alexander is furiously scribbling notes on a jotter, presumably for his half-time team-talk. His pen might run out at this point as Cardiff are growing in confidence.

Ryan Wintle is the latest to have a pop from range for the visitors but his effort skews high, wide and not so handsome.

  10. Postpublished at 12:52 GMT 17 January

    Tranmere 0-0 Walsall

Tranmere holler big penalty appeals for handball, but referee Darren Drysdale disagrees.

Then a late challenge from Jamie Jellis on Ethan Bristow leaves both in the advertising hoardings and looking in some pain.

Both sides take the chance to have a drink and get some advice from the bench.

Both players look okay to continue after a stoppage.

  11. 'Turnbull capable of the spectacular'published at 12:52 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-1 Cardiff

    Dafydd Pritchard
    BBC Sport Wales

For someone so technically sound, it's surprising that David Turnbull does not score more goals.

He's capable of spectacular strikes but that was his first in the league since November 2024.

Turnbull has netted in the EFL Cup this season, though. His superb diving header in the quarter-final defeat against Chelsea was nominated for goal of the round.

  12. Postpublished at 12:51 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-1 Cardiff

Bradford pushing forward in search of a quick response but the visitors almost punish them with a clinical counter, Yousef Salech producing a heavy touch at the crucial moment which sees the pressure dissipate.

Chris Willock goes down in a heap as he chases a dink into the area moments later but ref David Rock is not moved.

Alex Robertson sails a 25-yard effort well over Sam Walker's bar following the restart.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:51 GMT 17 January

    Wigan 0-0 Bolton

Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle shows great reflexes to keep Max Conway at at the back post.

Amario Cozier-Duberry swung an inviting deep cross for Conway to meet with a header, but Tickle manages to deny the Trotters by pulling off a save with his legs.

    Chesterfield 0-0 Bromley

'What have I done?' shrugs Bromley boss Andy Woodman as referee Alex Chilowicz trots over for a word.

All smiles, though, as he gets the action back under way.

Neither side carved out a clear chance yet. A little cagey, as you'd expect.

But then as I say that, Mitch Pinnock lets fly with his left peg from the edge of the box, slicing it towards the far corner but it's comfortable for Zach Hemming.

  15. 'Nothing Walker could do about that'published at 12:48 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-1 Cardiff

    Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

Can't take anything away from that right-footed strike, straight into the top corner.

Bobby Pointon sold himself far too easily though with the challenge.

  16. goal

GOAL: Bradford 0-1 Cardiffpublished at 12:46 GMT 17 January

    David Turnbull (15 mins)

    What a hit!

David Turnbull has just netted his first goal of the season, and in style.

The Scottish midfielder picks the ball up 25 yards out, feints inside a sliding challenge and bends a right-footed effort across goal, past Sam Walker's dive and into the far top corner.

    The away fans go wild.

That's his first league goal for the Bluebirds since November 2024. What a way to get it,

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:45 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-0 Cardiff

    Out of nothing.

David Turnbull is trying to pull the ball back from near the dead ball line on the right but his cross flicks off a defender and Bantams keeper Sam Walker gets down to his right to instinctively claw the ball away from danger, while Joel Bagan's return ball from the left flashes across the face of goal untouched.

  18. "Good start by Bradford, not allowing Cardiff to settle"published at 12:45 GMT 17 January

    Bradford 0-0 Cardiff

    Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

Sarcevic is finding space in the middle of the pitch but needs to find the right pass for the likes of Swan and Pointon.

  19. Postpublished at 12:44 GMT 17 January

    Tranmere 0-0 Walsall

Walsall waste a super chance as Jamie Jellis wins possession and gets to the byline, with leading scorer Daniel Kanu lurking in space.

But the pullback is poor and Tranmere are able to clear.

    Wigan 0-0 Bolton

Mason Burstow of Bolton Wanderers misses a chance to scoreImage source, Shutterstock

Visitors Bolton should really be 1-0 up right now.

Xavier Simons tests Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle with a curled low effort from outside the box.

Tickle pushes his save into the path of Mason Burstow, who makes a mess of his attempted finish and scuffs his shot a long way wide.
