    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

Blackburn have not won any of their past five matches, and it is 4 November since they last kept a clean sheet.

That shows the importance of hanging on to this scoreline.

    Preston 0-0 Norwich

A loose header from Harry Darling back to his goalkeeper is almost pounced upon by Preston striker Michael Smith but Vladan Kovacevic does well to palm the ball away from danger.

There has been a real lack of quality in this game and it feels, if there is to be a goal today, it will come from an error at the back.

It is a lovely sunny winter afternoon in the South, and you have to say both these teams are putting on some great football.

There is some great football and some lovely breaks from Southampton at the moment.

  13. CLOSE!published at 13:48 GMT 20 December 2025

    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

Much better from Millwall as Mihailo Ivanovic shows great feet in the box to lift the ball over the defender but his volley towards the danger zone is cleared for a corner.

Alfie Doughty swings that in and it's met by sub Caleb Taylor, but he powers his header off target.

That was the Lions' best chance of the game.
