    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

Home fans have just unveiled a banner in the Blackburn End saying 'Pasha out'.

Suhail Pasha is the club's Chief Operating Officer and the representative of the Venkys at Ewood Park.

A sign of how Rovers supporters feel about the direction their club is heading.

    Jovon Makama (85 mins)

What a strike this is - the Canaries hit the front with five minutes left!

Fantastic centre forward play from Jovon Makama who backs into his man before turning and unleashing a vicious strike into the bottom corner, giving Daniel Iversen in the North End goal no chance.

That was Norwich's first shot on target this afternoon and my word have they made it count.

Makama rips his shirt off and throws it in celebration, receiving a yellow card for his troubles, but I'm not sure he will care one jot about that. 1-0 to the visitors!

    Southampton 1-1 Coventry

    Adam Blackmore
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

There is still time for Southampton to find a winner here and Saints' ninth of the season.

If someone can find the winner or find an incisive pass to create an opportunity that would make it a very special Christmas for these fans inside St Mary's.

    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

Remember, Blackburn have only won once at Ewood Park this season.

The fans know that and recognise what they can do by offering plenty of vocal encouragement to help their side over the line.

  8. CLOSE!published at 14:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Preston 0-0 Norwich

Tony Springett does really well to get in behind the Preston defence but the outstretched leg of North End keeper Daniel Iversen denies him.

Better in terms of an attacking sense from the visitors.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:11 GMT 20 December 2025

    Preston 0-0 Norwich

Will Keane and Bradley Potts are on for the final 15 minutes for the hosts in place of Alfie Devine and Pol Valentin.

Preston's current xg is 0.22, while Norwich's is 0.12, in case you were wondering that this one was a goalless thriller.

    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

It's a long way back home to south London from east Lancashire and it's looking like it's going to be a miserable journey for Millwall.

That early goal from Andri Gudjohnsen has really shaped this game.

  11. 'Better defending from Blackburn'published at 14:10 GMT 20 December 2025

    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

There has been some better defending from Blackburn in this game they have stuck to their players and been strong on their men.

Millwall have had a few penalty claims but nothing of worth.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:10 GMT 20 December 2025

    Southampton 1-1 Coventry

Fresh legs for Coventry - six of them.

Millwall have been better in this half - not that difficult - but without particularly looking like scoring.

  17. Postpublished at 14:04 GMT 20 December 2025

    Southampton 1-1 Coventry

Southampton are dominating possession as you would expect with the one man advantage.

They swap out Caspar Jander for Cameron Archer.

Coventry are holding on - a point you feel would be huge for them.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:04 GMT 20 December 2025

    Blackburn 2-0 Millwall

Matty Litherland has had a fine debut for Blackburn, providing plenty of energy down the right and playing a big part in the first goal.

He gets a warm hand as he comes off with Tom Atcheson, only 19, now on for his first Championship appearance for Rovers.

  19. Postpublished at 14:04 GMT 20 December 2025
