Kent 352 & 38-2 v Derbyshire 304
Derbyshire seamer Rory Haydon picked up his second wicket, dismissing Ben Dawkins lbw, before the rain arrived at Canterbury.
That might be it for the day.
Surrey 292-2 v Sussex 358-9 dec - Surrey trail by 66
Image source, BBC SportIt was getting gradually darker and the rain has now arrived at the Kia Oval prompting the players to leave the pitch.
Whether we get back on again here this evening or not we will have to wait and see.
Surrey have lost two wickets today so far - Rory Burns for 77 and Ryan Patel for 67, while Dom Sibley has completed back-to-back centuries and is unbeaten on 116.
Scriven c sub (Hayes) b Pennington 19 (Leics 146-8 v Notts 490)
Great catch at long leg by sub fielder James Hayes and a spirited little 34-run stand between Tom Scriven and Stephen Eskinazi is brought to an end.
Dillon Pennington bangs it in short and Scriven goes up on his toes to pull it off his hip.
It flies on a flat trajectory towards the rope where Hayes dives forward as it drops, taking a teeth-threatening catch in front of him six inches off the turf.
Surrey 289-2 v Sussex 358-9 dec
Ollie Pope is dropped on 11!
It doesn't stick for Jack Leaning and the chance is gone.
Surrey approaching 300.
Crawley lbw b Haydon 15 (Kent 352 & 30-1 v Derbys 304)
He just can't get going this season.
Zak Crawley is pinned lbw by Derbyshire seamer Rory Haydon for 15 and is on his way.
Crawley's 44 in the first innings is still his highest score this campaign in eight knocks.
Somerset 274 v Yorkshire 162 & 13-0 – Yorkshire trail by 99 runs
The sun has been shining beautifully at some grounds today but it has been a very gloomy afternoon at Taunton.
The players went off early in the afternoon session and in truth it never looked likely that they would come back on today.
They'll hope for a better outlook in the morning.
Northants 310-5 v Worcestershire 306 – Northants lead by four runs
James Sales and George Bartlett are a fairly new batting partnership and they have taken their side into the lead against the Pears in the evening session.
Hants 19-0 v Glam 536-7d
The covers are back on and being pinned down as bad light is now stopping them getting out.
The official line remains that they will have a look in 20 minutes but it doesn't look promising.
Surrey 271-2 v Sussex 358-9 dec
Are you watching England x2?
Dom Sibley gets to his second century of the season from 236 balls.
There are quite a few names being thrown into the England Test call-up mix and Sibley has to be very much in the conversation after back-to-back hundreds.
Middx 430 v Durham 90-1
Are you watching England?
Emilio Gay moves to another half century with a vicious pull through square leg.
His scores this season have been 128 & 11 against Kent, 5 against Glocs, 41 & 159* against Lancs and now 50 in 46 balls at Lord's.
He is averaging 98.50 and could be ready to step up from the England Lions.
Kent 352 & 1-0 v Derbyshire 304
Zak Crawley is in the middle for Kent alongside Ben Dawkins.
Is this Crawley's last chance for a big score until his England place comes under serious pressure?
At Lord's Emilio Gay has 46 off 44 balls.
Green b Stone 0 (Leics 112-7 v Notts 490)
Olly Stone has a fivefer and this is another beauty.
Angled in towards leg stump he draws Ben Green into an attempted flick off his pads but the ball straightens and flattens off stump.
Stone's figures are 5-14 from 9.4 overs with six maidens, his best bowling for Notts.
Northants 288-5 v Worcestershire 306 – Northants trail by 18 runs
The new ball works for Worcestershire as Tom Taylor removes Saif Zaib caught behind for 75.
The Pears have grabbed wickets in the overs just before and shortly after tea as Northants move closer to parity.
Patel c Hughes b Carson 67 (Surrey 259-2 v Sussex 358-9 dec)
Ryan Patel hits it high, very high, into the sky allowing Daniel Hughes time to get around to behind bowler Jack Carson to take the catch.
Patel had struck a four with the previous ball and looked to go big with the one that followed but he doesn't get the right connection and knows he has made an error long before Hughes takes the catch.
He goes for 67 and that brings Ollie Pope into the action.
The Surrey top three have all scored half-centuries - no pressure Ollie.
Leics 112-6 v Notts 490
Olly Stone appears to be bowling the same ball over and over again.
Fortunately for him, and Notts, it is a well-pitched, swinging delivery in the channel just outside off stump and it is wreaking havoc.
Hants 19-0 v Glam 536-7d
The rain has stopped in Southampton and the covers are being peeled back with a pitch inspection set for around 37 minutes time at 17:15.
Cox c Patterson-White b Stone 0 (Leics 112-6 v Notts 490)
Olly Stone is ripping through this Foxes line up.
Another replica outswinger which draws in the shot and finds the edge.
Stone has a double wicket maiden and 4-14.
Tattersall c Verreynne b Stone 27 (Leics 112-5 v Notts 490)
Olly Stone gets another to shape away and Jonny Tattersall can't resist following it. The edge flies to Kyle Verreynne who takes a good catch diving away to his right.
Stone has 3-14 now and has made the telling contribution.
Kent 352 v Derbyshire 304
Luis Reece is the last Derbyshire batter to fall for a swashbuckling 84, including five sixes.
Matt Milnes gets him caught behind to finish with figures of 3-87.
The visitors only trail by 48.
Middx 430 v Durham 77-1
Emilio Gay is motoring along nicely with a 38-ball 44 while Ben McKinney is happy to play sleeping partner with 20 from 46.
Durham are going well enough but are still trailing their hosts by 353 runs.
