WICKETpublished at 14:15 BST 22 June

    Van Buuren b Waite 32 (Worcs 388 v Glos 289 & 162-7)

This feels like a decisive breakthrough for Worcestershire as Graeme van Buuren has to depart.

Matthew Waite's relentless accuracy is rewarded as he gets one between bat and pad and disturbing the stumps. Waite has now 3-11 in his 14th over.

The partnership ends at 50 and the lead is only 63 with just Will Williams and Liam Charlesworth to come.

  2. Tribe and Carlson starting to ease nervespublished at 14:13 BST 22 June

    Glamorgan 70-1 v Surrey - target 195

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan’s second wicket pair of Asa Tribe and Kiran Carlson are starting to ease the troubled nerves of home supporters with a half-century stand in the sweltering heat.

A target of 195 in 81 overs may have looked undemanding, but the match momentum was with Surrey after last pair Jordan Clark and Tom Lawes put together a stand of 106.

That swing continued when Billy Root was run out in a first-over mix-up, and Dan Lawrence caused both batters headaches with his off-spin.

With the teams below Glamorgan, Leicestershire and Hampshire, both winning, there was talk in the stands of a pivotal moment in the season as the Welsh side aim for consecutive seasons in Division One for the first time.

    Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 13-0 – chasing 314

Extras are top-scoring for the Bears so far - eight of those to Rob Yates' one from 18 balls and Zen Malik's four from 12.

    A steady start.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:10 BST 22 June

    Lees c Harrison b Conway 39 (Durham 82-2 - Target 296)

The Mad Badger strikes! Harry Conway induces a false stroke from Durham captain Alex Lees outside off-stump and Calvin Harrison snaffles the chance at second slip.

It is the 6ft 7in Australian’s fifth wicket of the match and leaves Northants needing another eight for victory.

  5. wicket

    Cracknell c Northeast b Milnes 16 (Kent v Middlesex 70-5 - target 231)

    Kent are jubilant.

A Matt Milnes delivery hits Joe Cracknell's bat and then loops either off him or Kent wicketkeeper Chris Benjamin into the hands of Sam Northeast at gully.

Seb Morgan is in for Middlesex who are in deep trouble.

Just been treated to seeing Ben Stokes walking across the Chester-le-Street ground on his way to the nets. So what was the rush to withdraw him from the match when he could have continued playing and got invaluable match practice?

    Ben Cartwright, Durham

There is a reason why Overton and T Rew won't play for England any time soon. The selectors don't really fully know that Somerset exists. J Rew only got picked because of a birth.

    Worcs 388 v Glos 289 & 162-7

A rank long hop from Fateh SIngh gets the necessary treatment from Graeme van Buuren. Four more to the total.

A single from the next ball and that is the 50 partnership off 73 balls. Some welcome fight from the Glosters.

  8. 150 runs

150 up for Gloucestershirepublished at 14:04 BST 22 June

    Worcs 388 v Glos 289 & 157-7

That is possibly the shot of the match from Daz Ahmed as he unfurls a glorious on-drive to send Beyers Swanepoel to the fence to bring up the 150.

And two balls later, he produces almost an identical shot to bring up four more.

All very welcome as Gloucestershire advance 58 runs to the good. The partnership between Ahmed and Graeme van Buuren is now a useful 45.

  9. Postpublished at 14:02 BST 22 June

    Glamorgan 57-1 v Surrey - target 195

A huge appeal from Dan Lawrence and Ollie Pope as Kiran Carlson goes for a reverse sweep which he misses and the ball loops into the air where Pope takes a catch.

Was there a glove or an under edge?

Replays seem to intimate it has rolled up his thigh pad without a touch - looks a good decision from the umpire.

    Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 1-0 – chasing 314

Warwickshire openers Rob Yates and Zen Malik are beginning their second innings in the Somerset sunshine.

I think the early stages of the afternoon will tell us how the Bears will go about this.

  11. No Stokes and Atkinsonpublished at 13:59 BST 22 June

So Surrey are really searching for a breakthrough as Glamorgan chase just 195. Perhaps they could go with the guy who took 4-61 in the first innings.

While Durham would feel better about their pursuit of 296 if their hard-hitting number five who scored 95 on Saturday was still in the hutch.

Alas for these two sides, Gus Atkinson and England captain Ben Stokes were taken off the naughty step halfway through these games to be wrapped in cotton wool for the decider with New Zealand at Trent Bridge.

It's a move that somehow feels wrong for the integrity of Championship cricket.

Caleb Falconer takes a Hasan Mahmud bouncer on the helmet.

We will need the concussion protocol to check the Middlesex man is fit to continue.

    He is good to go.

  13. dropped catch

    Durham 69-1 v Northants - Target 296

Alex Lees is dropped on 32 by a diving Nathan McSweeney off Calvin Harrison after top-edging a sweep in the second over after lunch.

Northants’ stand-in captain made up the ground but could not cling on, allowing Lees - who had survived a big lbw shout off the leg spinner earlier in the over - to escape.

    Glamorgan 50-1 v Surrey - target 195

Oh Surrey you cannot afford to do that.

Asa Tribe steers a Dan Lawrence delivery towards short leg - it is a sharp chance but straight at the fielder and Adam Thomas drops it.

  15. Conway charging inpublished at 13:48 BST 22 June

    Durham 63-1 v Northants - Target 296

The animated Harry Conway is opening up from the Finchale End for Northants as they search for a post-lunch breakthrough.

Durham still have a lot to do but they have chased down bigger targets than 296 at the Riverside this season.

They knocked off 336 against Lancashire for the loss of just two wickets back in April with Emilio Gay and David Bedingham scoring centuries.

There’s no Gay this time around - he has moved onto bigger things with England - but Bedingham is next man in.

  16. 50 runs

50 up for Glamorganpublished at 13:48 BST 22 June

    Glamorgan 50-1 v Surrey - target 195

Kiran Carlson creams Sean Abbott through the covers for four - his fourth boundary of his 30 not out.

He and Asa Tribe then trade singles in the next over from Dan Lawrence and Glamorgan reach 50.

  17. Play that one!published at 13:48 BST 22 June

    Worcs 388 v Glos 289 & 139-7

Fateh Singh bowls a ball to Daz Ahmed that bounces and takes off the New Road surface which wicketkeeper Gareth Roderick takes at head height.

That will get the attention of the batters!

But more intent from the Gloucestershire batters as Ahmed and Graeme van Buuren each take a boundary from the over.

  18. Play resumes at Cardiffpublished at 13:43 BST 22 June

    Glamorgan 44-1 v Surrey - target 195

Kiran Carlson and Asa Tribe resume the pursuit of a further 151 runs to get the win for Glamorgan.

Surrey have found the conditions difficult to create opportunities.

  19. Play resumes at Canterburypublished at 13:42 BST 22 June

    Kent v Middlesex 52-4 - target 231

Off we go again at Canterbury for the penultimate (or maybe final) session.

The loss of skipper Leus du Plooy on the stroke of lunch means wicketkeeper Joe Cracknell is out there with Caleb Falconer.

    Kent the slight favourites now?

In case you missed it, four games finished on Sunday with emphatic victories in all of them.

Champions Nottinghamshire hammered previous leaders Essex by an innings and 52 runs with a career-best match of 9-109 from spinner Liam Patterson-White to the fore.

In a low-scoring game at Hove, struggling Hampshire claimed a decisive 118-run success over hosts Sussex as four wickets from Eddie Jack and three apiece from evergreen Kyle Abbott and Felix Organ bowled them to the win.

Bottom-of-the-table Leicestershire turned in an outstanding performance at Grace Road to thrash inconsistent Yorkshire by an innings and 39 runs to grab a first win in Division One for 23 years.

Menawhile in Division Two, Derbyshire wrapped up a convincing nine-wicket win over Lancashire at Chesterfield with Ben Aitchison's 5-49 following up his 75 with the bat as the Red Rose's season went from bad to worse.
