  1. Conway receiving treatmentpublished at 16:26 BST 22 June

    Durham 173-4 - target 296

    Harry Conway’s trousers are down.

The physio is helping out with a cut on his knee - nothing too serious.

We can expect to see the big Australian again before this game is out but for the moment it is Ben Sanderson from one end and Nathan McSweeney’s off spin at the other.

It feels like the calm before the storm.

    Swanepoel lbw b van Buuren 35 (Worcs 52-3 v Glos - target 87)

Beyers Swanepoel's fun ends on 35.

A quicker delivery from Graeme van Buuren hits him on the pads and that is out. A seventh in the match for van Buuren for the first time in his career and all three in this innings.

Gloucestershire will be thinking if only they had an extra 30 or 40 runs to protect if the target was more like 120 or 130.

  3. 50 runs

50 up for the Pearspublished at 16:24 BST 22 June

    Worcs 50-2 v Glos - target 87

Beyers Swanepoel has helped himself to 35 having been pushed up the order and the Pears' 50 is up.

    Just 37 needed for victory.

    Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 92-2 – target 314

It is getting darker in Taunton and the floodlights are on.

Looking at the weather radar there is a large band of rain heading this way.

What time it arrives we will see.

Ben Aitchison outstanding with bat and ball

    David, Derbyshire

Jack Haynes and Liam Patterson-White of Notts have to be in there, match-winning performances at the top of Div 1 from them both.

    Fred, Notts

TOTW - from a biased Glammy fan Norton an obvious pick. Whilst not necessarily spectacular, Ingram had a stormer. Steadied the ship both innings when things were going/could have gone desperately wrong.

    O G, New Zealand

O G, we have just looked at the time in the land of the white cloud - just the 11 hours ahead - so thank you so much for following our coverage and for your suggestions.

    Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 92-2 – target 314

Sam Hain likes the look of those two Josh Shaw deliveries and helps himself to consecutive fours.

Hain is on 23 and Rob Yates still five away from a half-century.

  7. wicket

    Roland-Jones lbw b Milnes 17 (Kent v Middlesex 147-8 - target 231)

    Got him!

A decent effort from Toby Roland-Jones and he thinks this full ball can be clipped away on the on side but it straightens a little and up goes the finger as it crashes into his pads.

Four wickets for Matt Milnes now.

    Tom Helm is next in.

  8. 50 partnership for Yates & Hainpublished at 16:15 BST 22 June

    Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 84-2 – target 314

This landmark has come up in 20 overs which gives you a sense of how Warwickshire have approached their second innings.

The umpires are studying their light meters again...

  9. Postpublished at 16:13 BST 22 June

    Somerset v Warks 84-2 – target 314

On such a sunny and hot day all over the country we are seeing something I don't think anyone expected we'd need today.

    A light meter.

The umpires take a reading for now.

Now that would be a surprise if we had to come off for bad light!

    Kent v Middlesex 145-7 - target 231

Zafar Gohar (36*) and Toby Roland-Jones (15*) have not given this up for Middlesex.

They bring up a 50 partnership for the eighth wicket.

  11. Postpublished at 16:11 BST 22 June

    Somerset v Warks 83-2 – target 314

A bowling change to begin the final session at Taunton as Josh Shaw comes into the action.

The sharpest of sharp chances follows for Craig Overton in the slips - it was past him before he could react as it flew between him and wicketkeeper Thomas Rew and runs away for four.

Overton is left on the ground looking up towards his team-mates - I don't think there was any chance he could have snatched that.

Rob Yates is on 45 now.

    Durham 158-4 - target 296

That’s a half-century stand for the fifth wicket between David Bedingham and Colin Ackermann.

Quite sedate progress - it came off 96 balls - but it sets Durham up for a final-session charge should they so wish.

All results still possible with the clock ticking down.

  13. Postpublished at 16:10 BST 22 June

    Kent v Middlesex 142-7 - target 231

Huge cries of catch as Zafar Gohar goes for a hook.

There is plenty of air to the shot but it is well wide of the fielder and goes for four.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:09 BST 22 June

    Libby c Bancroft b van Buuren 5 (Worcs 33-2 v Glos - target 87)

A lovely piece of bowling from Graeme van Buuren as he claims his second wicket.

A bit of grip and turn as he spins one on to Jake Libby's bat and Cameron Bancroft takes a second good catch at slip.

Probably too little, too late with only 54 more needed.

  15. Play resumes at Canterburypublished at 16:03 BST 22 June

    Kent v Middlesex 134-7 - target 231

Off we go for the final time in this game at Canterbury.

Kent need three more wickets for victory while a further 97 runs will do it for Middlesex.

    Taunton: Somerset 208 & 435 v Warks 330 & 75-2 - Warwickshire chasing 314 to win

    Division Two

    Chester-le-Street: Durham 405 & 151-4 v Northants 450 & 250 - Durham chasing 296 to win

    Canterbury: Kent 416 & 257 v Middlesex 443 & 134-7 - Middlesex chasing 231 to win

    Worcester: Worcs 388 & 28-1 v Glos 289 & 185 - Worcestershire chasing 87 to win

  18. Tea at Tauntonpublished at 15:47 BST 22 June

    Somerset v Warks 75-2 – target 314

Well we started the afternoon session wondering what Warwickshire's approach would be and it's been pretty clear from the off that they were not going to be chasing the target down.

Unfortunately we are heading for a draw in Taunton with only one session left with Warwickshire needing 239 to win and Somerset requiring eight wickets.

Still we might get some thrills and spills in the final session - let's remain optimistic!

  19. Tea at Worcesterpublished at 15:45 BST 22 June

    Worcs 28-1 v Glos - target 87

Beyers Swanepoel greets Miles Hammond's part-time spin with a boundary in his first over. A fifth of the innings for Swanepoel and his licence to hit is proving a good tactic.

Tea is taken with the target now only 59 away.

  20. Tea at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 15:45 BST 22 June

    Durham 151-4 v Northants - target 296

Durham have been content to play largely low-risk cricket through to the egg and cress sandwiches after the loss of Will Rhodes and Graham Clark.

They still need another 145 to win in the final session with six wickets in hand from a minimum of 31 overs.

Will Colin Ackermann prove to be their super-sub?

The Dutch international was hauled off the bench when Ben Stokes was withdrawn by England for what is only his second County Championship appearance of the season.

He’s 10 not out from 45 balls so far.
