    Glamorgan v Surrey 440-9 - lead by 187 runs

Tom Lawes thrashes away a Ryan Hadley delivery to the mid-wicket fence.

The body language is beginning to change in the Glamorgan outfield - one wicket needed to set-up a run chase but that is looking easier said than done.

Kasey Aldridge has his second wicket of the morning after Ben Sanderson chips a full delivery to Ben McKinney in the covers.

McKinney’s hands let him down on day one but there was no way he was going to drop that one.

Get Involved - Overton player of the season so far?published at 11:38 BST 22 June

    Somerset 208 & 366-6 v Warks 330

Somerset now lead by almost 250 runs.

When Overton came in that lead was only 26.

Only Surrey's Dan Lawrence has scored more centuries than Overton this season with five.

Overton has three, as does his Somerset team-mate Tom Abell and Surrey's Dom Sibley.

Not bad company to be keeping - especially not as a specialist batter.

Is he the player of the season so far? Let us know your thoughts.

There is nothing happening for the Glamorgan seamers so they turn to the leg-spin of Mason Crane.

Jordan Clark and Tom Lawes have now added 91 runs for the 10th Surrey wicket.

I think Kent have a good chance if they can get around 250. Depends on performance of our Hasan. Love from Bangladesh!

    Shumon Choudhury, London

Too many Kent batsmen leaving their post this morning, leaving me resigned. As fate would have it no.10 didnt last long...

    Mark James at Canterbury

Well Shumon, with Kent all out for 257, Middlesex have to score 231 to win so the home side will need a big contribution from Hasan Mahmud.

It should make for some good cricket for those like Mark, watching in person.

    Dudgeon c Roland-Jones b Helm 37 (Kent 416 & 257 v Middlesex 443 - lead by 230 runs)

Having just mis-fielded for four the previous ball, Toby Roland-Jones takes a fine catch in the deep to give Tom Helm his eighth wicket of the game and Keith Dudgeon's excellent innings is over.

Middlesex will require 231 for victory at Canterbury.

    Guthrie c Raine b Aldridge 11 (Durham 405 v Northants 450 & 230-8)

Kasey Aldridge takes a wicket with his first ball as Liam Guthrie drags a half-volley loosener to wide long-on where Ben Raine takes a good tumbling catch.

Genius captaincy from Alex Lees? Or, with Callum Parkinson on at the other end, is he just mothballing his opening attack ahead of the new ball’s arrival in a few overs’ time?

Either way, Northants are on the back foot.

A wicket maiden to start from Aldridge.

Coming in as a substitute for Gus Atkinson who has been recalled for England, Tom Lawes is playing a fine hand with the bat for Surrey.

He goes to a fourth first-class 50 with the final wicket of Lawes and Jordan Clark now adding 83 runs.

Lawes has also been warned by the umpires for running straight down the middle of the pitch when scampering a run.

Suthar bowled well early yesterday, taking three wickets before Overton and Rew dug in.

Just 12 runs from the opening seven overs.

  14. Durham will want target under 300published at 11:20 BST 22 June

    Durham 405 v Northants 450 & 225-7

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Matty Potts has just taken his seventh wicket of the match and his 41st of the season in the Championship. And it didn't take him long to get going either.

George Bartlett edged the fourth ball of the morning to Graham Clark at backward point and departed for 28. The ball seemed to pop on him and take him by surprise.

But it means Northants are now seven down and lead by 270 in their second innings. Durham will want to restrict them to less than 300, but as we saw last season, 340 is achievable on this ground in a fourth innnings.

That said, it's overcast and murky today so we may see the lights on later, but no rain is forecast until tea time.

He and Tommy Boorman have added 61 runs for this second wicket.

Just the start Durham wanted in the first over as Northants lead by 249 with only three wickets remaining.
