  1. 150 runs

    150 partnershippublished at 17:48 BST 21 June

    Somerset 208 & 300-6 v Warks 330

On they go as Craig Overton and Thomas Rew bring up their latest landmark.

Nathan Gilchrist returns to the attack as Ed Barnard shuffles his pack again, but Rew cuts his second ball square for four to bring up the 150 run stand.

It's also Somerset's highest-ever seventh wicket stand against Warwickshire. Is that stat niche enough?

The wicketkeeper then pulls for a single to bring up 300 for Somerset.

  2. Kent lead passes 150published at 17:45 BST 21 June

    Kent 416 & 178-4 v Middlesex 443

Chris Benjamin muscles a pull shot through cow corner to collect back-to-back boundaries off Tom Helm and take the Kent lead to 150 with six wickets intact.

All results still possible in Canterbury.

  3. wicket

    Patel c Carlson b Hadley 40 (Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 105 & 337-8)

Ryan Patel falls 10 runs short of a half-century and you can see his disappointment after he faced 107 deliveries.

Patel guided it into the hands of Kiran Carlson at short mid wicket. Patel will feel that was soft one to go on.

Surrey are now 337- 8, and Jordan Clark enters the field.

  4. Postpublished at 17:34 BST 21 June

    Worcs 388 v Glocs 289 & 33-1

Huge shout from Matthew Waite who slams the ball into Cameron Bancroft's pad.

Could have been given but could also have been 'umpire's call' on impact and on height as he got a decent stride in.

The umpire Steve O'Shaughnessy did not fancy it though and it is his decision and not a bad one, just not the one Worcs wanted.

  5. Postpublished at 17:34 BST 21 June

    Kent 416 & 168-4 v Middlesex 443

Chris Benjamin off the mark first ball with a four but is then beaten for pace and is wrapped on the pad.

Naavya Sharma goes up wanting a second wicket of the over, but not this time.

A great over from the 20-year old who has 2-14 from seven overs.

  6. Postpublished at 17:30 BST 21 June

    Durham 405 v Northants 450 & 181-6

A good over from Ben Raine and excellent wicketkeeping from Ollie Robinson standing up to the medium pace and causing George Bartlett to think about where his feet need to be rather than where he wants them to be.

Justin Broad gets more freedom with Robinson back and he makes the most with a thick outside edge for four.

Five from it and the lead is 226 with four still to come.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:28 BST 21 June

    Bell-Drummond b Sharma 60 (Kent 416 & 162-4 v Middlesex 443)

    Big breakthrough for Middlesex.

Daniel Bell-Drummond is gone just as he was looking so fluent as he plays around a straight one from Naavya Sharma and is bowled.

A dangerous stand of 82 with Ekansh Singh is broken and Chris Benjamin is in with the lead at 135.

  8. Postpublished at 17:27 BST 21 June

    Somerset 208 & 285-6 v Warks 330

The Warwickshire attack are looking a bit ragged as we move into the final 14 overs of the day.

They seem to have no answer to the momentum that Craig Overton and Thomas Rew have brought. They came together with Somerset just 26 runs ahead but have added 137 runs.

Dan Mousley is brought into the attack for his third over and gets some sharp turn immediately.

No damage though - just a leg bye and single from the six.

  9. Postpublished at 17:26 BST 21 June

    Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 105 & 321-7

There is an appeal from Kiran Carlson, and he can't believe that Ryan Patel is not out.

It looks like it might have gone on to hit off stump - Patel might be a bit lucky to still be on the field. The umpire waves it away.

Fabulous century from Thomas Rew. What a tenacious and mature innings from this young man. Are you watching England?

    Richard, Somerset

  11. 50 runs

    50 for Daniel Bell-Drummondpublished at 17:18 BST 21 June

    Kent 416 & 151-3 v Middlesex 443

Zafar Gohar continues despite that expensive over. This one is better - just a single from the first five balls.

But Daniel Bell-Drummond steers the final ball down to third man for his seventh boundary to bring up his fifty.

Just the 44th of his career and has come off 82 balls.

  12. 100 runs

100 for Thomas Rewpublished at 17:15 BST 21 June

    Somerset 208 & 281-6 v Warks 330

Ed Barnard into the attack and drops short and Thomas Rew pulls it for four to bring up centuries in successive matches - take a bow, young man!

He follows his unbeaten 127 at Trent Bridge a week ago with another ton - also in the second innings.

The first was setting up a big chase with his side already in a powerful position.

This one is also setting up a chase but has come in very different circumstances - with his side up against it. It's come off 171 balls.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:15 BST 21 June

    Sales b Parkinson 11 (Durham 405 v Northants 450 & 164-6)

Callum Parkinson shuttles away punching the air after drifting one down to James Sales and rocking back his off stump.

That was a nice delivery with it just leaving the right hander as he went back in the crease pushing unconvincingly towards cover.

Six down and the lead is 209. Durham will feel right in this now.

  14. Postpublished at 17:06 BST 21 June

    Glamorgan 358 v Surrey 105 & 315-7

There is an appeal for lbw on Adam Thomas from the bowl of Tom Norton - there are big claims by the Glamorgan players, but the umpire doesn't agree.

This has been a slow but strong partnership from Surrey's Ryan Patel and Thomas.

  15. 50 runs

    50 partnershippublished at 17:04 BST 21 June

    Kent 416 & 139-3 v Middlesex 443

Ekansh Singh hits down the ground for four to further frustrate Zafar Gohar who had a hearty appeal turned down in his previous over.

His mood won't improve to see Singh send his next ball towards cow corner for a maximum.

That brings up the fifty partnership off just 51 balls.

Daniel Bell-Drummond then heaves the final ball of the over for a second six.

The over goes for 20 and the lead has raced into three figures - 112.

  16. wicket

NOTTS BEAT ESSEX BY INNS & 52 RUNSpublished at 17:03 BST 21 June

    Harmer lbw b O'Neill 27 (Essex 184 & 221 v Notts 457)

    Notts v EssexImage source, Shutterstock

Notts bring home the win as Simon Harmer steps across his stumps trying to flick to the leg side. The finger goes up and the win is in the bag.

Fergus O'Neill, on his last outing for Notts this season, completes a five-for with 5-39.

Liam Patterson-White might have missed out on a 10 wicket match but still completes his best match figures with 9-109.

This was a victory that will see these two sides exchange positions in the table with Notts (22 points) leapfrogging Essex (two points).

And it was one built on a solid first half after Essex won the toss and elected to bat on Friday. Their 184 was never likely to be enough and when Notts made 457 the win looked impossible.

Haseeb Hameed with 89, Jack Haynes with 137 and O'Neill, who has delivered a parting gift in this match, with 61, all helped.

  17. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 16:54 BST 21 June

    Somerset 208 & 256-6 v Warks 330

Craig Overton gets a life on 59.

He squirts an outside edge towards backward point. It's dipping to the floor, but the fielder almost makes a two-handed grab lunging forward.

Would have been a stunning catch. The lead is up to 133.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:52 BST 21 June

    Benkenstein c Hutton b O'Neill 42 (Essex 214-9, trail by 59 runs)

And the breakthrough comes three balls in as Fergus O'Neill gets Luc Benkenstein to chip tamely to mid off where Brett Hutton takes a tumbling catch.

O'Neill has 4-37 and will be fancying this last wicket as will Liam Patterson-White who is on nine for the match.

  19. new ball

New ballpublished at 16:50 BST 21 June

    Essex 184 & 214-8

Essex are living dangerously with edges flying up and through the slip cordon off the bowling of Liam Patterson-White.

Luc Benkenstein (42) and Simon Harmer (24) are going well enough but this is going to be a test.

  20. 100 runs

Thomas Rew (left) punches gloves with batting partner Craig OvertonImage source, Getty Images

Thomas Rew continues to impress as he gets down and sweeps Manav Suthar for four to bring up the 100 partnership with Craig Overton.

A big stand - off just 163 balls - from this pair who are dovetailing nicely with attacking intent.

A single then takes Rew to 82.
