  1. Derbyshire lead passes 100published at 12:19 BST 20 June

    Derbys 267-7 v Lancs 161

Paul Coughlin twice beats the bat of Ben Aitchison who then decides to have a swipe. Well, why not?

It ends up at deep backward point for a couple which brings up the 100 lead for Derbyshire.

Another thick edge brings four more and takes Aitchison to a brisk, if slightly fortunate, 18.

  2. drinks break

Drinks breakpublished at 12:19 BST 20 June

    Essex 184 v Notts 144-3

Nothing doing for Essex since that dismissal of Jack Haynes this morning.

Simon Harmer's presence has failed to produce a wicket or even the threat of one and Notts are dealing with everything Essex throw at them very comfortably.

Haseeb Hameed is leading from the front and his 86* looks like it will become something a lot more substantial.

  3. wicket

WICKET AND SUSSEX ALL OUT FOR 159published at 12:14 BST 20 June

    Unadkat c Gubbins b Jack 0 (Sussex 159 v Hants 191)

Remarkable and Sussex are all out, trailing Hampshire by 32!

Awful shot from last man in, Jaydev Unadkat, who balloons one up straight to Nick Gubbins at cover and he makes the simplest of catches.

Sussex have lost their final seven wickets for just 31 runs and Hampshire, after looking in real bother all of yesterday, now boast a lead.

Kyle Abbott's six-fer has put the visitors in a good position - and any lead on this pitch will be a vital one.

20 wickets in a day and a bit's play. Not one for the purist that's for certain, but Hampshire fans won't care.

Now, can they capitalise as they prepare to begin their second-innings?

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:11 BST 20 June

    Hunt lbw b Jack 0 (Sussex 159-9 v Hants 191)

A huge, huge collapse here by Sussex and Hampshire are on fire!

Sean Hunt is trapped bang in front second ball by Eddie Jack who gets his name next to the wicket's column.

This one looks plumb, staying low on Hunt. Extraordinary stuff at Hove.

  5. 250 runs

250 up for Derbyshirepublished at 12:10 BST 20 June

    Derbys 253-7 v Lancs 161

James Anderson is taking a breather after a spell of seven overs for 18 runs and is replaced by Paul Coughlin at the Lake End.

His first ball almost brings a breakthrough as a thick outside edge evades the diving first slip and smacks into the advertising hoardings at third man.

It brings up the first batting point and takes the lead to 92.

Golden Oldie....Hampshire are bad enough, but without Kyle Abbott....OMG

    Graham Walker, Somerset

Kyle Abbott is now level with Warwickshire's Ethan Bamber with 36 wickets with the most wickets in Division One this season. And Abbott has a significantly better average.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:06 BST 20 June

    Goodman c Organ b Abbott 6 (Sussex 158-8 v Hants 191)

Two in the over and SIX for veteran paceman Kyle Abbott!

It was clear Dom Goodman was going to play his shots immediately, and after hitting Abbott down the ground to the boundary with his second ball, he flashes at one which goes straight to Felix Organ who makes a good catch low down at backward point.

    39-year-old Abbott has 6-49!

  8. Play resumes at Grace Roadpublished at 12:05 BST 20 June

    Leics 177-3 v Yorks 185

The rain has stopped and the players are back out in the middle at Grace Road.

Can Rehan Ahmed and Nick Kelly reset again after that unscheduled break?

  9. Postpublished at 12:04 BST 20 June

    Derbys 248-7 v Lancs 161

Ben Aitchison picks up his first boundary of the day, off James Anderson who then thuds his final ball of the over into the pads.

But the appeal is short lived.

    The lead is 87.

  10. wicket

WICKET AND FIVE-WICKET HAULpublished at 12:03 BST 20 June

    Carson b Abbott 10 (Sussex 152-7 v Hampshire 191)

    Kyle Abbott has five-fer!

It's the tall paceman's second five-wicket haul of the season as he castles Jack Carson for 10.

This one nips back a little and goes straight through the gate. Off stump out of the ground.

Dom Goodman walks to the crease for the visitors.

  11. 300 runs

300 up for Glamorganpublished at 12:02 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan 300-7 v Surrey

Mason Crane moves into the eighties and scampers back for a second run off Sean Abbott as Glamorgan bring up 300.

  12. 150 up for Sussexpublished at 12:00 BST 20 June

    Sussex 152-6 v Hants 191

Back-to-back boundaries by new man in Jack Carson (10*) sees Sussex move past the 150 mark.

    They trail Hampshire by 39.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:59 BST 20 June

    Guest b Stanley 22 (Derbyshire 234-7 v Lancashire 161)

Mitch Stanley has now removed both overnight batters and his extra pace does the trick again.

Brooke Guest goes for the drive, but he inside edges and middle stump is poleaxed!

Stanley has 4-49 and is doing his utmost to keep Derbyshire's first innings in check.

  14. 50 runs

50 for Colin Ingrampublished at 11:59 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan 294-7 v Surrey

After being struck on the hand and having to retire hurt yesterday, Colin Ingram cuts into the offside for a couple to bring up his half-century.

Ingram raises his bat towards the pavillion in celebration. It's been a good morning for Glamorgan, they have added 50 runs for the loss of Chris Cooke's wicket four balls in to today's play.

  15. 400 up for Kentpublished at 11:59 BST 20 June

    Kent 405-9 v Middlesex

A fourth batting point is brought up for Kent to cheers from the Canterbury crowd as Matt Parkinson launches Zafar Gohar over cow corner for six!

This is turning into a more than useful total for the home side.

  16. wicket

GLOUCESTERSHIRE ALL OUT FOR 289published at 11:58 BST 20 June

    L Charlesworth c Brookes b Swanepoel 12 (Worcs v Glos 289 all out)

Number 11 Liam Charlesworth had added 12, but he drives rashly at a ball outside off and it's an easy catch at second slip.

A fifth wicket for Beyers Swanepoel, who collects an impressive 5-65, but Glos batter Miles Hammond is left high and dry on 139 not out off 308 balls.

A superb knock from him, but nobody could quite stick around long enough at the other end.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:57 BST 20 June

    Conway b Potts 5 (Durham v Northants 417-9)

The end is nigh for Northants and Durham collect maximum bowling points.

Nightwatchman Harry Conway cannot keep out a Matthew Potts yorker and has his furniture disturbed.

Ben Sanderson is the final man in for Northants.

Three wickets for Potts this morning.

  18. Postpublished at 11:55 BST 20 June

    Durham v Northants 417-8

Ben Stokes wants a wicket but the ball has flicked off Liam Guthrie's helmet.

Stokes looks, shall we say, disappointed as he feels that took an edge.

We will need to have the concussion protocol.

  19. Postpublished at 11:54 BST 20 June

    Glamorgan 292-7 v Surrey

Sean Abbott is into the attack for Surrey and strikes Mason Crane (77*) on the pads but height looks to be the problem here and not out is the call.

Glamorgan are just eight runs off their second batting point now. Sam Curran will bowl from the other end for the Brown Caps.

  20. Bad light stops play at Tauntonpublished at 11:53 BST 20 June

    Somerset 208 v Warks 122-2

The players trudge off at a very pedestrian pace as the umpires finally decide the light is too poor to continue.

A massive dark cloud is parked over the ground but there is plenty of lighter stuff around so we shouldn't be off for too long.
