Glos v Durham 588-5
Good to see Ben McKinney get a really big score. Could well be his breakthrough year. England here we come? Hopeful he will get his chance.
Peter, Whitley Bay
McKinney made 244 in 272 balls for Durham.
Yorks 101-4 v Hants 251
Image source, ShutterstockCodi Yusuf nearly chips out Adam Lyth with a superb yorker with the Yorks opener just managing to keep it out jabbing his bat down.
But the 38-year-old just about keeps the upper hand, squirting an inside edge through towards square leg for a single which brings up his 82nd first class half century.
He has started the season in fine form with 37 and 97 down at Sophia Gardens in the draw against Glamorgan last weekend.
Essex 149 v Somerset 229-6
If you knew nothing about professional cricket, you may have thought Craig Overton the white ball opening bat and Will Smeed a bowler who bats number eight such is their contrast in batting so far.
Overton hits three, then four, then one off the last three balls of Shane Snater's most recent over whilst Will Smeed is still trying to get in after that fortunate drop, he is five off 24 balls.
Still no rush for Somerset, they will be delighted if they manage to bat 110 overs on this pitch that is still pretty bowler-friendly.
Notts 279 & 2-1 v Glamorgan 113
Glamorgan are going to need to rattle through the top order in similar fashion to the first innings to stay alive in this contest.
Off to the perfect start.
Hameed lbw b van der Gugten (Notts 279 & 2-1 v Glamorgan 113)
Haseeb Hameed is gone in the first over again!
Timm van der Gugten bowled the Notts skipper with the first ball of the match and it's only taken him six balls to get his man this time around.
It catches Hameed on the pads and the umpire rules that it was going on to hit off-stump.
A disaster for Hameed, who will want to forget this game very quickly.
Kent v Northants 438-1
After nearly an hour off the field, we have cricket again in the garden of England.
Calvin Harrison and Luke Procter resume their unbeaten centuries.
Notts 279 & 2-0 v Glamorgan 113
Not unexpected for me that Notts have rolled Glamorgan - their attack is strong with Stone to come in as well!

Notts 279 & 0-0 v Glamorgan 113
We're back under way at Trent Bridge and Haseeb Hameed has already survived two more balls than he did in that first innings for Notts.
Sussex 102-5 v Warwickshire 267
Adrian Harms
BBC Sussex
Warwickshire have fought their way back into the game taking 5-25 as Sussex have subsided from 58 without loss to 83-5.
On a wicket which helped the seamers yesterday the Warwickshire bowlers have bowled in good areas, helped by a couple of loose shots from the Sussex top-order.
However Sussex bat deep with nine of the side having made first-class hundreds, and they'll need that resilience if they are to post a competitive first innings total.
Sussex 101-5 v Warwickshire 267
Ed Barnard did just drop a caught and bowled from Tom Price, but it would have been a screamer one-handed low down.
Two new Sussex men Tom Price and Jack Leaning are trying to do the job that Kai Smith and Chris Woakes did for the Bears yesterday, bailing out the top-order failings on a pitch doing enough, but most of today's dismissals have been really poor Sussex shots.
Notts 279 v Glamorgan 113
It's confirmed. Notts will bat again shortly.
Lancs 351 v Derbys 37-1
Thankfully that was a short, sharp shower and Tom Bailey is back with ball in hand, Harry Came in his sights, and in sunshine again.
Came nearly went just before the break, so to speak, but he has a life and 21 to his name. Matt Montgomery is on 16 at the non striker's end.
Notts 279 v Glamorgan 113
Still just waiting to see if Notts will enforce the follow-on.
Notts opener Haseeb Hameed ran straight off when they bowled Glamorgan all out so it would suggest the hosts will bat again themselves.
Play resumes very shortly at 12:24 BST.
Clark c & b Scriven 71 (Surrey 520 all out v Leics)
Jordan Clark smashes it high into the air, almost straight up.
It comes down with a bit of snow on it but Tom Scriven makes the catch off his own bowling.
Clark goes for a very useful quick 71 and a big innings comes to an end for Surrey.
Yorks 88-4 v Hants 251
Matt Revis and Adam Lyth have concentrated well this morning and are starting to open up a little now.
Kyle Abbott has bowled well all game (he has 1-21 from 12 overs) but Revis has just punched him through the cover region off the back foot with aplomb.
Yorks still have plenty to do but this pair look as if they are trusting a pitch a little more.
van der Gugten b Hutton 12 (Notts 279 v Glamorgan 113 all out)
A big heave ho from Timm van der Gugten and he's still looking at the sky when Brett Hutton's straight delivery clatters into the timber.
And that is that for Glamorgan who slip from 81-4 to 113 all out.
Just 32 runs added to their overnight score.
Abbott b Ahmed 2 (Surrey 520-9 v Leics)
A quick top spinner from Rehan Ahmed and the pace beats Sean Abbott who was trying to go on the offensive.
Leg stump rips out of the ground for good measure and Leicestershire are almost there after an absolute slog in the field.
Essex 149 v Somerset 213-6
A five hour journey and 25-hour build up for a duck?
Well that is what it should have been.
A sitter put down at first slip by Dean Elgar as Will Smeed shows his white-ball technique pushing at one outside off stump which he could leave or otherwise get his head and feet over to.
A nice height, gentle, only the cold an excuse with the hand warmers supposed to be helping nullify that problem.
Seven balls Smeed has now faced without a run, Sam Cook and Jamie Porter a very different challenge to the Cardiff students he was whacking around the first few days of this week.
Surrey 520-8 v Leics
Jordan Clark is a man in form. He steps across the line and flicks it off his legs for four off Tom Scriven.
Clark motors onto 71 from 62 balls.
