Even though there have been so many close misses to get on the podium for Team GB, there is still so much more action and lots of chances through the likes of Mia Brookes and Kirsty Muir. I have so much confidence in the curling teams too, so come on Team GB!

    Sakinah, Birmingham

It is sadly becoming a poor Games for Team GB. All of our main hopes are falling short so far.

Since coming together in November, Cizeron and Fournier Baudry have steamrollered all before them. Back to back golds for Cizeron, securing him as an Olympic great.

They will not be the most popular winners with everyone, but there can be no denying the talent.

Never thought I'd be crying over ice skating. Heart goes out to Lilah & Lewis. And Piper who has overcome loss & health issues to dance like that. Wow.

    Hannah, Folkestone

Well done Lilah and Lewis! Your effort and commitment is fantastic. You will bounce back.

Indulge me with one more vote.

Thumbs up for a gold medal for France. Thumbs down for USA.

I love the speed and the attack they have. Obviously the theme of the dance requires that, but they also move so smoothly.

They cover so much ice with so little effort due to their speed. There are twizzles, lifts and spins as well.

Such a shame [for Fear and Gibson] as their performance had so much personality and character

    Noah, Leeds

What an amazing performance from Fear and Gibson, they certainly won our hearts.

    Andrew, Reading

The amount of times they must have danced that perfectly. Gutted for them. So energetic, so fast, gave me goose bumps. Poor poor Lilah must feel beyond deflated. So sad.

It's sultry and moody from USA as they skate to a thoroughly enjoyable string-heavy cover of Paint It Black.

Did I want a bigger finish? Yes. Do the crowd agree with me? Nope. They've gone wild.

It's almost certainly going to be a medal for Madison Chock and Evan Bates but what colour?

From a British perspective, everything feels a little flat now.

But one could not help but smile at Piper Gilles' reaction to winning an Olympic medal. Screaming and jumping for joy, slapping the hoardings.

    A life of work rewarded.

I think Lyla and Lewis have been amazing. There was so much pressure on them with all the Torvil and Dean comparisons. They danced with such joy, above all for themselves. A wonderful Scottish dance too.

    Janet, Twickenham

I'm gutted for Lewis and Lilah. Despite not knowing the technicalities, you can see how much better the Canadian pair were, let alone the Italians.

    That was sublime!

That is going to be a first Olympic medal for Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier.

That was a programme they put together a few seasons ago in memory of Piper's mother, who died shortly after the PyeongChang Games in 2018.

They skated that in her memory a couple of years ago, but they have made tweaks and improvements to it. It is now going to bring an Olympic medal to Canada.
