- Great Britain's Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds missed out on a bronze medal in the curling mixed doubles, losing to Italy 5-3. Sweden won the gold medal match, beating USA 6-5
- Norway added three golds to their tally - Johan-Olav Botn won the men's 20km biathlon, Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won the men's cross country skiing sprint classic, and Birk Ruud won the men's freeski slopestyle
- Linn Svahn led home a Swedish 1-2-3 in the women's cross country skiing sprint classic
- Hosts Italy won the short track speed skating mixed team relay, with Arianna Fontana collecting her 12th Olympic medal
- In the alpine skiing, Austria won gold in the women's team combined slalom
- Julia Taubitz clinched gold in the luge women's singles, extending Germany's stranglehold in that event to eight Games
- Slovenia won the ski jumping mixed team gold, beating Norway and Japan to top spot on the podium.
- GB's Makayla Gerken Schofield finished 18th in the women's moguls first qualifying round
