  1. Tiafoe holdspublished at 17:48 BST 2 July

    Tiafoe 1-1 Choinski*

Frances Tiafoe gets back to deuce with his first ace of the match.

The American moves within a point of the hold but is dragged back to deuce for a third time.

Tiafoe eventually gets over the line but Choinski has already shown he's not here to just make up the numbers. Some positives to take from that game for the Briton.

  2. Fearnley holds, Munar serving for matchpublished at 17:47 BST 2 July

    Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 4-5 Munar*

Jacob Fearnley holds serve again but the Briton only has one more chance to engineer a break, otherwise he'll be exiting Wimbledon.

Fearnley has had eight double faults and 42 unforced errors. Unless he tightens things up and takes it all the way, we may not have much time left watching him at Wimbledon.

Credit to Jacob Fearnley, he’s still fighting away and his body language remains positive despite the predicament he finds himself in.

Just one break of serve and this could all start to feel very different.

  5. 'Munar has served superbly'published at 17:46 BST 2 July

    *Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 3-5 Munar

    Matt Chilton
    Commentator on BBC One

Jaume Munar has consistently been in the high 130s on his serve this afternoon. He has nudged 140mph on one occasion. He has served superbly all afternoon.

The 29-year-old from Majorca has put a bit of daylight between himself and Jacob Fearnley now.

  6. Second break point Choinskipublished at 17:45 BST 2 July

    *Tiafoe 0-1 Choinski

Frances Tiafoe isn't lacking on power either, though.

A huge first serve from the American comes back long from Jan Choinski and the break point opportunity is gone.

But he'll have another after Tiafoe is loose with backhand to hand over advantage.

  7. Break point Choinskipublished at 17:43 BST 2 July

    *Tiafoe 0-1 Choinski

Jan Choinski will need to rely on his big serve today but how will he fare when Frances Tiafoe has the ball in hand?

    Pretty good, it seems.

  8. Fearnley holdspublished at 17:42 BST 2 July

    Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 3-4 Munar*

Another rapid service hold by Jacob Fearnley, who volleys away a winner to wrap up the game.

  9. Berrettini 'favourite to win this'published at 17:41 BST 2 July

Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'd say Berrettini is favourite to win this, he's two sets to one up and has the serve that he has.

Even if he isn't playing well, he can push it to a tie-break with his serve, it's just so effective on these grass courts.

  10. Choinski holdspublished at 17:41 BST 2 July

    *Tiafoe 0-1 Choinski

Jan Choinski's decision to serve proves to be a good one.

The Briton settles any possible nerves with a positive start and is on the board.

  11. Munar holdspublished at 17:40 BST 2 July

    *Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 2-4 Munar

Nothing doing for Jacob Fearnley in this game.

    Mensik v Dimitrov

Next up on Court One, 15th seed Jakub Mensik plays Grigor Dimitrov.

Dimitrov was understandably emotional after his first-round win at Wimbledon, 12 months after he left Centre Court in tears.

In 2025, the Bulgarian was two sets up against Jannik Sinner in the fourth round when he had to retire injured. Sinner went on to win the title.

  13. 'Fearnley still engaged and fighting'published at 17:38 BST 2 July

Former British tennis player on BBC One

I liked Jacob Fearnley's reaction after taking the point to go 30-0 up. That fist pump shows he is still engaged, he is still fighting and he has a good attitude about things.

Creating opportunities hasn't been a problem, he has carved out 10 break points but, unfortunately for him, he has only converted two of them.

  14. Fearnley holdspublished at 17:37 BST 2 July

    Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 2-3 Munar*

A quick hold of serve in reply by Jacob Fearnley reduces his deficit to 3-2 in the third set.

He now needs to find a way to break Jaume Munar's serve - something the Briton hasn't done since the first game of the second set.

    Tiafoe 0-0 Choinski*

Jan Choinski has his first victory of the afternoon... winning the coin toss.

The Briton has decided to take the initiative and will serve.

    Off we go.

  16. How far can Tiafoe go?published at 17:36 BST 2 July

Frances Tiafoe has proven himself as a hard-court specialist with his best Grand Slam runs coming at the US Open - reaching the semi-finals twice.

The American has never made it beyond the fourth round at Wimbledon but two of his four ATP titles have come on grass, including winning the Halle Open in June.

With six of the top-20 men's singles seeds already knocked out and no Carlos Alcaraz in the draw, could Tiafoe finally enjoy a deep run at SW19?

  17. Boulter and Watson under way in doublespublished at 17:35 BST 2 July

    Boulter/Watson 0-0 Siskova/Piter

Katie Boulter, who was eliminated in the first round of singles on Tuesday, is back in action in the women's doubles alongside Heather Watson - who missed out on a spot in the main draw after losing in the qualifiers.

The duo have just kicked off their doubles campaign against Anna Siskova from Czech Republic and Katarzyna Piter of Poland.

  18. Munar saves break point to holdpublished at 17:35 BST 2 July

    *Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 1-3 Munar

Despite that brilliant Jacob Fearnley winner, Jaume Munar sees out another service hold after saving a break point.

Fearnley hasn't given up by any means.

  19. Choinski looking to boost British hopespublished at 17:34 BST 2 July

Jan Choinski is one of three Britons still standing in both the men's and women's singles draws after Katie Swan's exit earlier today.

Arthur Fery is through to round three after beating Otto Virtanen, while Jacob Fearnley is currently battling it out with Jaume Munar on court 12.

Will Choinski and Fearnley still be in the draw come the close of play?

  20. 'He couldn't have placed that any better'published at 17:33 BST 2 July

    Fearnley 4-6 6-7 (3-7) 1-2 Munar*

    Arvind Parmar
Former British tennis player on BBC One

Jacob Fearnley has been so good when he has been stretched out wide today.

He has pulled off some remarkable winners, with quite a few coming on the forehand, but this time it was on his backhand. He couldn't have placed that any better.

He also did well to stay upright after a slight slip earlier on in the rally.
