That was nails for Jaume Munar. There was some excellent serving in that tie-break, he didn't miss a single first serve.

The key moment for him was coming through that game at 4-4, when he was 0-40 down, having saved all of those break points. He kept his cool, didn't panic and won it on the tie-breaker.

    Zverev 6-1 6-3 6-6 (0-0) Royer*

A scrappy game from Alexander Zverev - a couple of unforced errors - but he holds to 30.

Valentin Royer's tail is up, however. He certainly looks the more energised of the pair.

  5. Royer holdspublished at 17:02 BST 2 July

    *Zverev 6-1 6-3 5-6 Royer

Alexander Zverev appears resigned to the tie-break. He sprawls to his right to return a serve and although the ball sneaks over the net, he sees the point as a lost cause and doesn't put in a chase. 40-0.

Valentin Royer falters, smacking a second serve unnecessarily hard to double fault for 40-15 and then blowing a forehand, but comes through once more.

Jaume Munar has become much more vocal in the past few minutes and has been really psyching himself up between points in the tie-break.

It seems to have paid off as he takes charge of the second-set decider.

Jacob Fearnley is left staring at his team after two hefty first serves put Munar on the brink of a commanding lead.

    Blinkova 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 3-6 Kostyuk

Twelfth seed Marta Kostyuk has completed her turnaround to beat Anna Blinkova and secure a spot in round three.

Kostyuk was second best in a first-set tie-break but made big improvements with her serve to get a grip of the match as Russia's Blinkova began to struggle in that area.

Ukraine's Kostyuk broke three times in the final set to set a meeting with American 23rd seed Emma Navarro next.

    *Fearnley 4-6 6-6 (1-4) Munar

    Arvind Parmar
Former British tennis player on BBC One

Jaume Munar is not only coming forward a lot, he is also choosing the right volleys for the job.

He just snipped that one away, using the angle, making sure not to offer up the running backhand pass.

    *Fearnley 4-6 6-6 (1-4) Munar

A serve-and-volley gets Jacob Fearnley off the mark in the tie-break, but only after he gives away the first mini-break.

Both players are getting very expressive out on Court One. Valentin Royer has the whole court to aim at after dragging Alexander Zverev out of position with a well-placed volley, but his second effort lands beyond the baseline. Hands on hips. 30-15.

He makes no mistake on the next point, however, directing his volley into the service box instead. Not doing that twice, he gestures to his box.

    Royer holds to 30.

    Arvind Parmar
Former British tennis player on BBC One

Jaume Munar's serve variation has been very good on the deuce side. We have seen the swinging ones out wide a few times, but that one was up the T.

He is certainly keeping Jacob Fearnley guessing.

  16. Fearnley holds to force tie-breakpublished at 16:53 BST 2 July

    Fearnley 4-6 6-6 (0-0) Munar*

Jacob Fearnley is getting 61% of his first serves in so far, matching Jaume Munar's figure, but while Munar is winning 83% of his first-serve points, Fearnley is down at 62% on that metric.

The Briton holds fairly comfortably to force a tie-break in the second set.

First to seven points, by a margin of two clear points or better, will win it.
