Hovland -3, Suh -2 (7)
Viktor Hovland escapes without further damage at seven but no such luck for Justin Suh, who drops a shot to slip back to two under.
Rose -3
A third successive birdie is just beyond Justin Rose but it's a tap-in par and an excellent front nine in torrential rain.
Three birdies follwoing the bogey on two have put the Englishman right in contention.
And now the sun is peeking through, you've got to back him to build on this start with receptive greens to fire at.
MW Lee -1 (11)
He was on fire at the start of his round yesterday and Australia's Min Woo Lee has joined the boys under par with a fabulous putt at the par-three 11th.
He's one under for his day and has a tasty run of attackable holes in front of him.
Hovland -3, Suh -3 (6)
The seventh pin is a very tough one to attack, situated on the right hand side of the green close to a bunker and some very unfriendly rough.
Justin Suh finds the former with his approach on the 461-yard par four while Viktor Hovland ends up in the latter with his iron shot.
Two of just seven players under par for the entire tournament. What a challenging course Oak Hill is proving, just as was expected.
Scheffler -2, Conners -5 (6)
Image source, Getty ImagesOn the one hand, that's a fine effort from a tough spot as Scheffler chips onto the green to about 12 feet so he's at least given himself a chance.
But this is Scheffler's putting we're talking about, and apart from it being hit on the wrong line at the wrong speed it's perfect!
It's a third bogey for the American who slips three shots back behind Conners, who again holes out nicely for par.
Rose -3 (8)
It's all coming very easy for Justin Rose since he took off his waterproof top. Shirt sleeves the order of the day for the Englishman now as he finds a second successive fairway. Heady times.
And his second is into the centre of the ninth green. It's a hole that hasn't given up a birdie today. It's not had the pleasure of Rose's putting though... he's got a 40-footer coming up...
DeChambeau -2, Koepka -3 (7)
Coats are off, umbrellas are down at Oak Hill and the soft course looks set fair to give us some good scoring over the next couple of hours.
Not on seven though for the LIV pair. Bryson DeChambeau's fine approach doesn't get the finish it deserves as he misses his putt high. A steady par though.
As expected, it's a dropped shot for Brooks Koepka who left himself too much to do with that errant tee shot.
McIlroy +1, Lowry E (11)
Pars again the order of the day for Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy over on the 11th.
Neither seriously went flag hunting off the tee there with McIlroy a good 20-foot away from the hole which is located on the front left of the putting surface.
Lowry, was even further away (well 10 feet) but both only need the two with their flatsticks.
DeChambeau -2, Koepka -4 (6)
These two are taking in turns to nail holes.
Great response by Bryson DeChambeau to his double on the last as he lasers a seven-iron to 12 feet. Beautiful shot.
Brooks Koepka had to lay up out of the rough and unfortunately his approach rolls away off the front of the green.
One of those two birdies probably about to be handed back.
Scheffler -3, Conners -5 (5)
There's more mud than ball for Scheffler to deal with in the rough again, and along with getting his pure white golf shoes dirty, he pulls his shot left of the green and it dives into more juicy rough stuff.
He avoided going too far left into the creek, but he's short-sided himself and with what should be a pretty bad lie he's in trouble again.
Conners is not in trouble, as he hits the fairway and then the green in this gloriously robotic round that he's got going on.
Hovland -3, Suh -3 (6)
Viktor Hovland was in a world of trouble in the sand on six but a classy bunker shot provides a seven-foot chance to save par which he takes.
Just as impressive is Justin Suh's length-of-the-green putt - must have been 80 feet, if not more - that also affords the American a makeable par chance that is sunk.
Rose -3 (8)
Image source, Getty ImagesJustin Rose has hit a fairway. Justin Rose has hit a fairway. Justin Rose has hit a fairway!!!
That's the first of the day - on the eighth! He follows it up with a mid-iron into the guts of the green - 35 feet left.
And oh my... nailed it.
McIlroy +1, Lowry E (10)

You just get the feeling it's another of those frustrating major weeks for McIlroy. He hasn't been on top of his game all week.
He has said: "I'm struggling, I'm battling" - and he's battled very hard.
DeChambeau -2, Koepka -4 (6)
Just when Brooks Koepka was starting to chug along nicely, he's pulled a heavy tee shot wide left at seven.
"Oh no!" he exclaims, as it plunges into some treacherous rough.
Bryson DeChambeau clean as a whistle though. He'll be pitching from the fairway.
McIlroy +1, Lowry E (10)
That sounds good, that looks good. Rory McIlroy swishes out of the rough down the left on the 10th and with laser-like precision lands his ball almost dead 12 feet from the flag.
Much more like it. That sets up his first decent birdie look for a while but he can't make the most of it, sliding past the edge.
Still after back-to-back bogey's that's more than acceptable for the world number three.

With their backwards caps and their matching leisure suit rain gear, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy look more like a Beastie Boys tribute act then pro golfers today.
But what do you think of their look? Thumbs up for yes, that'll do for me, thumbs down for no thanks..

After successive bogeys, this difficult sixth hole isn't exactly the cure for what ails you for Viktor Hovland.
He follows Bryson DeChambeau and countless others into the bunker far right of the green and is in danger of dropping shots for a third consecutive hole.

The course has done remarkably well as you did feel we may get some suspension of play.
The greens have potentially needed a bit of squeegeeing, but the draining has been immaculate.
Greens have been re-laid and trees taken out - it feels like a completely different course.
I think the rough is a little too thick for the nature of these fairways, though. The fairways are pretty repellent and they kick the balls off.
Scheffler -3, Conners -5 (5)
Corey Conners is a stone-cold putter this week - and it's not usually the best facet of his game!
He saves par again without a sign of nerves on the fifth to keep his one-shot lead at the top.
DeChambeau -2, Koepka -4 (6)
Nine foot for bogey - how are your nerves, Bryson?
Not quite there. His ball dribbles left and it's a double like yesterday for DeChambeau.
Brooks Koepka follows up from a similar length. Dead straight from the four-time major winner and he stays one shot back.
