  1. Thomas makes fast startpublished at 18:37 GMT 13 March 2021

    Thomas -7 (10)

World number three Justin Thomas is having one of those rounds today.

The American opened with four straight birdies and after bogeying five, he hit back with another birdie on seven.

He's just hit a dreamy shot into the par-four 10th too, tap-in birdie and he is knocking on the door.

  2. Westy leads the way...published at 18:33 GMT 13 March 2021

There are host of Americans scrapping for the lead at TPC Sawgrass but sitting pretty at the top as we head into round three are a couple of Englishmen.

Lee Westwood, who turns 48 next month, leads the way at nine under par but is closely followed by compatriot Matt Fitzpatrick, who is one stroke behind.

Westwood has not won on the PGA Tour since June 2010 during a run of form that saw him become the world's number one golfer.

And after finishing second at last week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, the veteran is well placed to end that drought.

It's Saturday. It's the Players Championship. It's moving day...

The opening two rounds saw the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood and Ian Poulter miss the cut.

But they also provided a truncated leaderboard and there are scores to be chased for the world's best at TPC Sawgrass today.

It's all to play for on the Florida coast, so let's get stuck in.
