  1. Par for Rose, Zalatoris bogeyspublished at 23:42 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -6 (13)

Rose lines up his birdie putt, a left to right roll. Nice line but not enough speed. The par keeps him two behind Matsuyama.

Playing partner Zalatoris pushes his par putt past the right edge and strolls off with a bogey. Maybe he now wishes he'd gone for the green with his second.

  2. 'I am happy enough'published at 23:40 BST 10 April 2021

    MacIntyre -2 (F)

Here's Scotland's Robert MacIntyre, who is two under on his Masters debut after a 70 on Saturday: "Happy enough, I made a crazy mistake on the par-five 13 but other than that played solid stuff.

"When the wind calmed down after the storm you could kind of get at it. I am happy enough with the last couple of days' play.

"It was tough early on, the wind started getting up and was gusty when I was standing on the 14th tee, there was stuff falling from the trees on me."

  3. Birdie for Leishmanpublished at 23:40 BST 10 April 2021

    Harman -4, Leishman -6 (13)

While Hideki Matsuyama was receiving roars of approval from the crowd further up the course there was also a ripple of applause on the 13th hole for Marc Leishman.

The Australian has gone back to one under par for Saturday after carding a birdie

His partner Brian Harman also pulls back a stroke to stay in contention.

  4. Postpublished at 23:39 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -7 (12)

Zalatoris to go first... past the flag into the centre of the green. The pin is five feet off the front and five feet off the right today. Rose goes for a similar line, but manages to get more backspin and the ball finishes much closer. A birdie chance awaits...

  5. Conners hits pinpublished at 23:38 BST 10 April 2021

    Conners -6 (F)

Corey Conners had an ace on the par-three sixth earlier today. He's gone pin-seeking again, with his second shot on the par-four 18th.

His ball hops into the flagstick and rebounds back about 15 feet.

Will he finish with a birdie? No. A poor putt up back up the hill.

But he's four shots better off after that round of 68.

  6. Postpublished at 23:36 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -3 (14)

Jordan Spieth pops his birdie putt pin-wards but it breaks slightly left and finishes inches away from the intended target. Another par for the American.

  7. Postpublished at 23:35 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -7 (12)

Justin Rose, ball just above his feet, plays it safe on the 13th and lays up. Will Zalatoris follows suit. Those wedges will be used again in a few moments.

  8. Matsuyama extends his leadpublished at 23:32 BST 10 April 2021

    Matsuyama -10, Schauffele -7 (16)

Hideki Matsuyama is on a charge.

The water and bunkers around Redbud offer very little by the way of a distraction as he lands his iron shot in to around four feet for birdie.

In it drops. He's into double figures and is two strokes clear at the top of the leaderboard after going through the last 10 holes in six under par.

Xander Schauffele can't keep pace with his playing partner at present but will be happy to come away from the 16th with a par.

  9. Postpublished at 23:31 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -3 (13)

Jordan Spieth lashes an approach to the right of the green after finding the left edge of the fairway off the tee. It spins back a touch and wriggles away to 24 feet.

  10. Postpublished at 23:30 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -7 (12)

Both Rose and Zalatoris go with three woods off the tee on the par-five 13th, landing in similar areas on the right side of the dogleg left. About 200 or so yards to the green.

Birdie-birdie for Rose here so far this week.

  11. Postpublished at 23:28 BST 10 April 2021

    Harman -3, Leishman -5 (12)

Given all the roars on the course around them Brian Harman and Marc Leishman must have been wondering what was going on as they carded pars on the 12th.

  12. Leaderboardpublished at 23:27 BST 10 April 2021

    -9 H Matsuyama (15)

    -8 J Rose (12)

    -7 X Schauffele (15), W Zalatoris (12)

    -6 C Conners (17)

    -5 J Spieth (13), M Leishman (12)

  13. Birdie for Connerspublished at 23:25 BST 10 April 2021

    Conners -6 (17)

Corey Conners played his first nine holes in four under par.

A couple of bogeys on the back nine checked his progress but he's just knocked in a birdie putt on the 17th to add to the one he holed on the 15th to continue climbing.

  14. Postpublished at 23:25 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -3 (13)

Amid all the drama going on around him at Augusta National, Jordan Spieth converts his par putt to stay at five under - but that now means he's four shots back.

  15. Matsuyama leads after an eaglepublished at 23:24 BST 10 April 2021

    Matsuyama -9, Schauffele -7 (15)

Hideki Matsuyama opens up with a 327-yard drive on the 15th hole, which is also called Firethorn.

That gives him the chance to go directly for the narrow strip of green where the pin is located. He does perfectly to set up a six-footer for eagle, which he strokes in. He never looked like missing that.

Xander Schauffele is also on the green in two but is faced with an extremely long putt.

He spends a bit of time lining it up before superbly rolling into the centre of the cup. Fabulous golf.

  16. Birdie for Rosepublished at 23:22 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -8, Zalatoris -7 (12)

Sensational stuff from Justin Rose, who nails his birdie putt from 25 feet. He's back into the outright lead. For now...

  17. Postpublished at 23:21 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -7, Zalatoris -7 (11)

On to Golden Bell then, the iconic par three at Augusta. Zalatoris goes for the flag, tucked in the left corner, and just goes off the back. A slightly-more conservative Rose, into the middle of the green, will be grabbing the putter as he strolls over Hogan Bridge.

  18. Postpublished at 23:19 BST 10 April 2021

    Spieth -5, Wiesberger -3 (12)

Jordan Spieth comes up just short of the bunker at the back of the 13th green.

He putts from the fringes and down towards the pin but it pulls up quite a way short - we've seen quite a few players undercook similar putts today. Tricky par-saver to come.

  19. Postpublished at 23:18 BST 10 April 2021

    Rose -7, Zalatoris -7 (11)

Justin Rose does have a line on his second shot at 11, but he doesn't quite have the power and ends up in the bunker on the right.

This could be very tricky. He's at the front of the long bunker with not a lot of green between fringe and flag... brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Rose splashes out to perfection, leaving him with a short par putt that he converts. Pressure? Didn't seem like it.

  20. MacIntyre closes with parpublished at 23:15 BST 10 April 2021

    MacIntyre -2 (F)

Bob MacIntyre is safely back in the clubhouse after an excellent round of two-under 70.

The Scot finished up with as regulation a par as you're likely to see. Great drive, iron to the heart of the green and two putts.

He's had six birdies and two bogeys and is just five shots off the lead, as it stands.
