    Westwood -4 (14)

Was that a grimace from Lee Westwood on 14?

He played that pretty well from tee to green but just left himself with too much to do on the putting surface.

Two putts, the first of which was from 32 feet sees him card his fourth par in five holes.

    Woods -4 (*11)

    Slow down! Slow down!

Bit of spin with his approach which leaves him about 16 feet up the hill.

    Birdie-able for Woods.

    Woods -4 (*11)

You know when Woods is playing well, when he casually picks up his tee following a drive.

    Everything at his own pace.

The par four third is at his mercy.

    DeChambeau -1, Rahm -4, Oosthuizen -4 (14*)

Bryson DeChambeau almost clips in from the bunker! His effort wobbles on the edge of the cup and decides to stay up. That could have kick started things...

Louis Oosthuizen is in for par, as is Jon Rahm.

    Casey -6 (12*)

    Paul Casey for another birdie.

No. That one slips past to giving him a tricky return putt. In she goes though. Was he helped by that being slightly back uphill? Possibly.

Par not a bad result there after all.

    DeChambeau -1, Rahm -4, Oosthuizen -4 (13*)

Wedge into the green at five for DeChambeau but he overcooks it and finds some of that wonderfully manicured sand behind the green. Not quite the opening round many anticipated for the pre-tournament favourite so far...

    Woods -4 (*11)

Birdie putt... not enough weight and breaks early.

Par ona par five when he perhaps should have picked up another shot.

    Woods looks a little disconsolate.

Woods in the greenside bunker at Pink Dogwood - the par five second.

His wedge out of the trap produces too much spin. He has an outside chance of a birdie here.

    Don't bet against it.

    Westwood -4 (13)

Hit it. Hit it. Oh Lee! Just not quite enough oomph in that one for Westwood as his birdie putt pulls up short.

I'd imagine he'll regard that as a chance missed on the par five.

    Westwood -4 (12)

Is Lee Westwood going off the boil? He'd drifted off right on 13 and will be playing his second from slap bang in the middle of the trees.

Looks like he is going to try and punch that one out.

And a low-running little shot is not bad at all leaving him with an up and down from the fairway for birdie.

  12. Postpublished at 18:47 GMT 12 November 2020

    DeChambeau -1, Rahm -4, Oosthuizen -4 (13*)

Jon Rahm hangs his arm right as a birdie putt scuttles by on the par-three fourth. His hot streak is halted. Louis Oosthuizen pops in for a par of his own, and Bryson DeChambeau is also in for three.

    Casey -6 (11*)

S.E.N.S.A.T.I.O.N.A.L from Paul Casey who looked a tad flat after coming off the first after seeing a birdie put slide past on the left.

But he more than makes up for it on the par-five second with a glorious second to give himself a look at eagle and the outright lead.

Just the 350 yards or so off the tee and a 205-yard iron in to around four feet and a relatively comfortable putt. Wow.

Who will win the Masters and why?

Also, we want your tip for the best European performance.

John McEnerney: Big Jon Rahm for the win - he just needs to keep his emotions in check and he could be wearing the green jacket come Sunday. With his power off the tee he can match The Scientist but you need a cool head to win at Augusta.

    Woods -4 (*10)

    "Brilliant"

    "Thank you," says Woods.

The 15-time major winner is solid from the second tee.

  16. Woods produces a fist pump!!!! And a birdie!!published at 18:41 GMT 12 November 2020

    Woods -4 (*10)

    The champion nails his putt.

The rest of the field (borrowed from the Graham Taylor doc): "Now this is a test.

    "Yeah, it’s a real test."

  17. Rahm on the chargepublished at 18:38 GMT 12 November 2020

    DeChambeau -1, Rahm -4, Oosthuizen -4 (12*)

Jon Rahm is flying. Birdie-eagle-birdie for the Spaniard and he's up to four under par, one off the lead. Bryson DeChambeau can't sink his own birdie chance and stays at one under.

  18. Postpublished at 18:35 GMT 12 November 2020

    DeChambeau -1, Rahm -3, Oosthuizen -4 (11*)

Bryson DeChambeau almost drives the green at the par-four 350-yard third, leaving a chip on to the smooth stuff that flies about 20 yards and stops dead, four feet beyond the flag.

  19. Postpublished at 18:35 GMT 12 November 2020

    Woods -3, Lowry +2, Ogletree +3 (9*)

Woodsy at the first - his iron approach leaves him about 15 feet to the pin.

Have we mentioned how relaxed he looks? This Masters is already shaping up beautifully.

  20. Bogey for Westwoodpublished at 18:34 GMT 12 November 2020

    Werstwood -4 (12)

It's as you were for Lee Westwood on 11 but the Englishman is not in great shape on 12.

He plugs his tee shot into the back bunker, not a good look given the speed of the greens around here and the amount of welly he's going to have to give it to get out.

Not a bad effort but his ball scoots off down the slope meaning a first bogey of the day.

    He's back to four under.
