    Leics 149-6 v Sussex 361

High quality over there from Ollie Robinson, who goes past Ben Cox's outside edge on a couple of occasions. The England man - and new Sussex skipper - has 3-25 from 11 so far.

  2. Postpublished at 14:00 BST 4 April

    Warwicks 144-1 v Surrey 328

Dan Mousley gets down on one knee and executes a perfect slog-sweep off Dan Lawrence to the boundary - the very shot which saw Alex Davies perish before the interval.

He moves on to 14 with Rob Yates on 63* and Surrey seemingly running out of ideas with a ball which is only 36 overs old.

  3. Postpublished at 13:58 BST 4 April

    Glamorgan 173-5 v Yorks

They are back out in the middle at Sophia Gardens following a lunch delayed by an extended morning session.

George Hill's line is awry and Colin Ingram glances down to fine leg for four - the Yorkshire bowler's body language suggests he is inwardly berating himself.

  4. 50 runs

50 for Nottspublished at 13:58 BST 4 April

    Som 347 v Notts 59-0

Notts reach their 50 as an opening partnership between Ben Slater and Haseeb Hameed.

The latter drives just aerially past Lewis Goldsworthy at point for four.

Next ball Jake Ball draws a genuine edge on the half-volley to TKC at first slip.

The following two deliveries though Ball goes too full and Hameed smashes him through covers for four both times.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:57 BST 4 April

    Milnes c Robinson b Potts 8 (Durham 335 v Kent 136-8)

Beauty from Matthew Potts, shaping away from Matt Milnes who comes forward and sends a fine edge through to Ollie Robinson.

Keith Dudgeon is in to join Sam Northeast.

Two wickets to find. Kent trail by 199.

Potts has 3-27 and is bowling (and fielding) like a dream at present.

  6. Postpublished at 13:55 BST 4 April

    Durham 335 v Kent 135-7

Matthew Potts with a wonderful diving stop on the rope to deny Matt Milnes a boundary after a nice swish trough the covers off Kasey Aldridge.

Saves a couple of runs and shows his commitment to the county cause on a grim day in April. Things you love to see as a fan.

Aldridge produces an absolute jaffa to Sam Northeast who takes a little stroll towards square leg to contemplate life as a result, before ducking under a bouncer to finish the over.

  7. Postpublished at 13:53 BST 4 April

    Mid 392-6 v Glos

Leus du Plooy continues after lunch on his merry way.

Former Gloucestershire spinner Zafar Gohar, a very popular figure at Bristol, is his latest partner.

Gohar is 10* whilst du Plooy is 162*.

No more batting bonus points available though as the 110 overs have been used by the home side already.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:53 BST 4 April

    Andersson c and b D'Oliveira 228 (Derbys 557-6 v Worcs)

    A tired stroke - maybe.

Martin Andersson's fabulous innings comes to an end as he chips a return catch to Brett D'Oliveira.

He batted for 325 minutes, faced 271 balls and hit two sixes and 26 fours - an innings he won't forget, and neither will those in the ground over the past day a bit to see it.

  9. Back out at CLSpublished at 13:52 BST 4 April

    Durham 335 v Kent 133-7

Back on the field after another brief delay. It looks a smidge brighter.

Durham will have been chomping at the bit to get back out in search of these final three wickets.

Sam Northeast is at the non-striker's end with Matt Milnes on strike after a nervy start in these tricky and pressurised conditions.

  11. Postpublished at 13:50 BST 4 April

    Leics 145-6 v Sussex 361

Being circumspect in this situation is not the best method, or so it would appear judging by that stroke from Jake Weatherald.

He is down the track to Jack Carson's off-spin and lofts him away over mid-on for four to move into the 80s.

  12. Postpublished at 13:48 BST 4 April

    Derbys 555-5 v Worcs

No immediate respite for Worcestershire after lunch as Martin Andersson pushes a single to take the total to 550 and Anuj Dal glances Matthew Waite for four to bring up a 100 partnership.

  13. Postpublished at 13:47 BST 4 April

    Durham 335 v Kent 133-7

Get the impression this won't be a long delay.

We had a four minute light interruption yesterday but though this is longer already, the umpires are still out in the middle having a chat and taking occasional readings.

  14. Postpublished at 13:46 BST 4 April

    Som 347 v Notts 40-0

Miggy Pretorius, not Craig Overton to open the bowling from the River End after lunch.

He barely played in the South African summer just gone, and missed Somerset's preseason, just landing in the country on Monday of this week.

  15. Postpublished at 13:45 BST 4 April

    Northants 63-5 v Lancs 384

What a difference a sandwich and a cup of tea makes as Northants emerge on the front foot.

Nathan McSweeney and George Bartlett serve it up to Jimmy Anderson in his first over with two boundaries and a three.

The pair already have the biggest partnership of the innings which is not saying much but it is a step in the right direction.

  16. Postpublished at 13:45 BST 4 April

    Warwicks 126-1 v Surrey 328

With two lefties out there, Dan Lawrence is going to continue twirling some off-spin from around the wicket at the Pavilion End after lunch.

  17. Postpublished at 13:42 BST 4 April

    Warwickshire 125-1 v Surrey 328

Sean Abbott bowls the first ball of the afternoon session to Dan Mousley, four not out, in glorious sunshine at Edgbaston.

Don't be fooled, it's still brisk out there.

Rob Yates resumes on 54* at the other end. Bears will have an eye on getting into bonus point territory later in the day, ideally with plenty of wickets in hand.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:42 BST 4 April

    Eskinazi c Leaning b Robinson 1 (Leics 139-6 v Sussex 361)

What a start to the afternoon by Sussex.

Ollie Robinson brings himself back on to bowl, Stevie Eskinazi pushes hard at his first delivery and Jack Leaning does the rest diving to his right at third slip.

Excellent catch and Leicestershire in some disarray, having been 117-2 just six overs ago.

  19. Bad light stops play at CLSpublished at 13:40 BST 4 April

    Durham 335 v Kent 133-7

It is VERY dark at the Riverside and the umpires have taken the players off for light for the third time in basically four sessions.

Sam Northeast has faced 103 balls for Kent for his 60* - the other eight Kent batters have faced 118 between them.

  20. Afternoon session commences in Tauntonpublished at 13:40 BST 4 April

    Som 347 v Notts 34-0

Jake Ball to continue from the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion End to Ben Slater who is 23*.

Haseeb Hameed, his skipper is 11*, a number that Jack Leach and Miggy Pretorius both fell on this morning.
