The gaps come and go now depending on how drivers deploy their battery. Lewis Hamilton is actually weaving now down the Wellington straight, trying to the break the tow to Kimi Antonelli.
We are expecting to see lots of overtaking because of the energy management situation. If you boost past someone on one straight, you don't have the energy on the next.
Lewis Hamilton has the view of a speedy Kimi Antonelli in his rearview mirror. The young Mercedes driver is just seven tenths of a second behind the sprint race leader.
Lando Norris is defending the last podium spot from Max Verstappen.

Amazing recovery from Max Verstappen, who lost a lot of places at the start. He is fighting back but the question is, has he used up too much of his battery in certain parts of the race? He has attacked brilliantly. The 'yo-yo racing' effect is there, defintely.
Lewis Hamilton leads in the Ferrari, followed by Kimi Antonelli. Lando Norris is having to defend his third spot from Max Verstappen, who loves a sprint race.
Norris is managing to hold on for now. George Russell has been overtaken by the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri for fifth.

Fantastic start by Lewis Hamilton! They both got off the line pretty well and Hamilton had to defend from Kimi Antonelli, but Antonelli has to think, 'I'm leading the world championship'.
Hamilton has already peeled away and Antonelli is under pressure from Lando Norris.
Our first Silverstone. Up at 05:30am, got a great spot overlooking Brooklands and Luffield and the weather is changing every five minutes. Hoping for an all British podium.

Barcelona wasn't a one-off for Lewis Hamilton - he's coming back and putting it on pole position at Silverstone in a spectacular way.
We all thought Ferrari were going to struggle here and this whole thing about deploying your battery and charging your battery and how you use it, we thought Mercedes were going to be the benchmark. Maybe Max [Verstappen] and Red Bull have found something but the fact is, Lewis and Ferrari know what they are doing.
Rosanna Tennant, Harry Benjamin and Andrew Benson are joined by 1996 world champion Damon Hill for the rest of the weekend at Silverstone.
