Carlos Sainz can't get out of Q2, his Williams team-mate Alex Albon can't do it either. Pierre Gasly is the last chance for a Q3 spot so can the Frenchman do it and knockout Liam Lawson? Nope. P12 for the Alpine driver.
That was a close one for Lando Norris. The world champion makes it through but the pace just isn't there for McLaren.
Both Mercedes drivers are in the wars at the moment, neither are comfortable it would appear. Errors, lack of comfort literally in the car for Russell with having to move the seat. These seats are moulded, it is supposed to fit you like a glove. I don't know if there is an issue with the fit or the seat is loose.
Rookie Arvid Lindblad is seventh on the timesheets and looking to book his place in the pole position shootout in his first ever British Grand Prix qualifying.
Oscar Piastri pushes Lindblad down, though, as the Australian moves up the order and out of the bottom six. But Lando Norris is still in ninth place with 29 seconds to go.
Oscar Piastri needs the helping hand of some fresh tyres to lift himself out of the snake pit at Silverstone. Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto is just above the drop zone in P10, with world champion Lando Norris off the top spots in ninth spot.
Max Verstappen in sixth has more information for Red Bull: Qualifying at the moment is a disaster.

Both Red Bulls have gone out on used soft tyres, these are not the optimum laps that they will be able to do. They are obviously saving a set for later.

Kimi Antonelli, like George Russell in the opening session, finds himself at the bottom of the timesheets after a scrappy lap in Q2. The Italian has dusted himself off, though, and goes again, clocking a 1:29.043 to go third behind Mercedes team-mate Russell and leader Lewis Hamilton.

The two Ferraris have upended the Red Bull duo at the top of the timesheets, with Lewis Hamilton the quicker of the Scuderia drivers.
George Russell has recovered well from his Q1 moment in the gravel and slips into second on the board, pushing Charles Leclerc down, and is 0.056 seconds off Hamilton's best time.
The soft compound is bolted on for all cars taking part in this Q2 at Silverstone. Isack Hadjar is on a set of used tyres and goes 0.125 seconds quicker than Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen, whose red-banded tyres are fresh out of the box.
Carlos Sainz for Williams is the only other driver to put down a time so far.
We love dreamers on this page, Jen/Paul, so let's not rule out an all-British top five this weekend.
The Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar have come out early doors in Q2 but four-time world champion Verstappen has spotted a problem already, so he calls the pit wall asap to voice his concerns.
