A beautiful ball in from Femi Azeez is cleared by Luke Ayling with Josh Coburn ready in waiting to pounce for his second goal of the game.

An important piece of defending from the Boro defender.

Into the final 10 minutes and this one is impossible to call.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 78 min

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwall

Middlesbrough make their first change of the afternoon as Matt Targett comes off and is replaced by Alex Bangura.

  3. CLOSE!published at 78 min

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwall

    So close for Middlesbrough!

Riley McGree gets to the byeline and pulls the back across the goal.

It eventually comes to Aidan Morris, but his shot is blocked by the lunging Jake Cooper.

David Strelec is then denied by the offside flag, despite drawing a fine save from Anthony Patterson.

Boro back on top after a slow start to the half.

Great break from Boro as Tommy Conway runs through.

He ignores the runs of David Strelec and Luke Ayling in support to take the shot on himself and is denied by a great block from Billy Mitchell, who came charging back to get his body in the way.

Now, how do these two managers play this?

If this game ends in a draw then the real winners today are Ipswich Town - and they're not even playing!

Not much bench activity as yet from either side. If it stays like this could we see both teams going for it at the end like a cup tie?

    I hope so.

Barry Bannan goes for the spectacular, scissor-kick on the volley and it swerves and dips over the bar.

Would have been an absolute stunner had that one gone in!

In truth, it was never threatening Sol Brynn too much in the Boro net.

If McGree would shoot in the first half this game would have been already finished. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Happy Coventry fan so far.

8/10 of Championship top 10 have been Premier League sides at some point. But can any three come up and stay up? Hard to know given how tight it all is right now. Sunderland are the model to follow currently.

  8. SAVE!published at 68 min

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwall

Callum Brittain smashes a free-kick towards the near post and Millwall keeper Anthony Patterson was taking no chances and tips it over.

This is better from Boro, who really had been a shell of themselves in the opening 20 minutes of the second half.

  9. 'Millwall picking up the pace'published at 13:52 BST 3 April

The game has opened up a little bit from their goal but the reaction from us has been good.

Millwall have certainly picked up the pace in the second half. They've got on the ball a lot more and they've created a few chances.

  10. CLOSE!published at 64 min

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwall

    He has to score!

Zak Sturge at the far post heads down into the floor and wide from point-blank range.

A huge let off for Boro as Casper De Norre is replaced by Barry Bannan for Millwall.

  11. SAVE!published at 63 min

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwall

Femi Azeez now tests Sol Brynn in the Boro goal but the home side's keeper is equal to it.

Millwall on top now, Boro need to pick themselves up.

Looking at the goal again, you do have to feel for Sol Brynn.

It's a cracking volley by Josh Coburn and he actually makes the save, before turning round and just knocking it over the line.

It's be interesting to see who the goal is ultimately awarded to, would be very harsh to go down as an own goal.

As a Boro fan I've never been so up and down over the course of the season but if we win today it's there for the taking. UTB. WE SHALL BE.

Re Allan (1327). Would you rather be five points in front or have two games in hand?

    Neil Maddison

It's a good ball into the box from Femi Azeez.

Josh Coburn just swivels and gets his shot off, it's a good save but it's just over the line.

GOAL: Middlesbrough 1-1 Millwallpublished at 13:44 BST 3 April

    Josh Coburn (58 min)

    Just over the line!

And it had to be him.

This had been coming - Millwall a team transformed.

The corner comes in and Mihailo Ivanovic keeps the ball alive before Josh Coburn smashes a volley down the middle of the goal.

Sol Brynn gets a hand on it but it just trickles over the line and the former Boro striker has a goal against his old club.

Big goal for Coburn against his former club, big goal for the automatic promotion race.

  16. 'Millwall building momentum'published at 13:43 BST 3 April

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

Sol Brynn does ever so well there.

This is why 1-0 is never enough, you need to get that second goal. Millwall have just picked up a little bit of momentum.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 55 min

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

Sol Brynn of Middlesbrough makes a save against Josh Coburn of MillwallImage source, Getty Images

Outstanding reactions from Sol Brynn to prevent a Millwall equaliser.

The ball flicks up off his own player, I think it's Luke Ayling, and the Boro keeper produces a brilliant reflex stop to send it up into the air.

He manages to scramble it away under pressure from Jake Cooper before Josh Coburn's shot is blocked on the line, but the referee's whistle blows for some kind of infringement.

By far the closest Millwall have come.

  18. SAVE!published at 52 min

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

    Ask and you will receive.

Boro up the tempo and move through the thirds quickly, with David Strelec laying it off nicely for Matt Targett to strike first time.

It's straight down the throat of Anthony Patterson for a simple save but it's enough to lift the fans and get some energy back into the ground.

  19. Postpublished at 50 min

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

A much slower start to this second half than the first.

It all feels a little subdued at the moment, which is odd considering the brilliant showing from Boro in the opening 45 minutes.

Needs a spark to get the game going again.

  20. 'Lack of response from Millwall'published at 13:37 BST 3 April

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

I know it's only the early stages of the second half, but I think Alex Neil will look to make changes.

He'll be looking for a real response from his side and right now there isn't one.
