    Chesterfield 1-1 Swindon

Swindon pick up a free-kick that looks like it could be a catalyst for something exciting.

Darren Oldaker takes a swing but it bounces wide of the post after picking up a deflection.

    Tasty match, this one.

  5. 'Cardiff looking to return to the top'published at 15:16 GMT 29 November 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Mansfield

    Laura Kenyon
BBC Final Score reporter at Cardiff City Stadium

Good atmosphere at the Cardiff City stadium today despite the Springboks being in town for a big rugby international just down the road.

The away end is super loud too. Just one solitary drummer but sounding like a full percussion section.

The fans well up for this one. Cardiff looking to return to the top, Mansfield looking for a scalp against one of the promotion favourites.

A couple of more goals to tell you about in League Two

Colchester United have taken the lead against Cheltenham Town thanks to Kyreece Lisbie's eighth-minute strike.

And Gareth Ainsworth's return to Shrewsbury Town as Gillingham boss is not going to plan.

Shrewsbury striker George Lloyd has poked home in the 11th minute to break the deadlock.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:13 GMT 29 November 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Mansfield

A less than ideal start for Mansfield. The Stags are forced into an early change as Kyle Knoyle goes off injured. On comes Jordan Bowery.

  9. goal

GOAL: Chesterfield 1-1 Swindonpublished at 15:12 GMT 29 November 2025

    John Fleck (10 mins)

Well... I said Swindon might not stay top but this was quick.

Two minutes after Swindon took the lead, Chesterfield have levelled the playing field after John Fleck thumps an equaliser into the net following a corner.

Hold on to your seats, this could be a doozy.

  10. 'A deserved lead for Bolton'published at 15:11 GMT 29 November 2025

    Luton 0-1 Bolton

    Mike Williams
BBC Final Score reporter at Kenilworth Road

It's a deserved lead. They have dominated the opening stages here. It was a brilliant counter-attack and it was Kyle Dempsey on the turn six yards out.

Low finish, cool as you like past the Luton keeper Josh Keeley without a care in the world.

  11. 'Bromley wanting to go long'published at 15:11 GMT 29 November 2025

    Walsall 0-0 Bromley

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

The early signs are that Bromley aren't going to be too complicated in their play. They are wanting to play the ball long.

  12. 'Far to easy for Bolton'published at 15:10 GMT 29 November 2025

    Luton 0-1 Bolton

    Geoff Doyle
Commentator on BBC Three Counties Radio

A very, very simple goal for Bolton to score. It is far too easy for the visitors, nobody closed the shot down.

    Finley Munroe (8 mins)

Finley Munroe sending his side top of the table!

As for whether it'll stay that way, it's too early to tell but Swindon have made an exceptional start to put the pressure on a certain West Midlands outfit.

Munroe rises high to put his head on a lovely Ollie Palmer delivery to take the lead.

An early breakthrough for Bolton who have been on top in the opening stages at Kenilworth Road!

The Trotters launch a quick breakaway and Kyle Dempsey is there to take a touch and sweep home from close range to finish the move following Jordi Osei-Tutu's pull-back.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:07 GMT 29 November 2025

    Walsall 0-0 Bromley

Walsall have a very early chance and going up quickly would settle some nerves over at Bescot.

Bromley keeper Grant Smith is able to whack away a cross into his box but not out of safety.

Instead it falls for Ryan Finnigan, who goes for it but Smith has started sharply and manages to produce the save to stop the hosts returning back to the top of the table.

    Cardiff 0-0 Mansfield

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

A few quirks of the fixture list - cup games, international-related postponements - mean this is Cardiff's first home league game since 18 October.

It's been a mixed bag for Brian Barry-Murphy's men since then, losing two League One games in succession before beating Northampton last weekend to briefly return to the top.

They're second now - one point off leaders Stevenage - and today they host a Mansfield side who've lost their past two matches.

    Luton 0-0 Bolton

Bolton's Jordi Osei-Tutu fires in a low cross for Kyle Dempsey, who manages to get away a shot but it's blocked. Lively start at the Kenny.

Cohen Bramall gets forward early on for Luton and tries to send in a cross from the left but Josh Dacres-Cogley is across well to block.

  19. Postpublished at 15:02 GMT 29 November 2025

    Cardiff 0-0 Mansfield

Four changes for Cardiff today from their 3-1 win at Northampton. Perry Ng, David Turnbull, Callum Robinson, Cian Ashford all come in.

Elliott Hewitt and Nathan Moriah-Welsh come in for Mansfield, while Joe Gardner and Rhys Oates are not in the squad.
