There are nine fixtures at 15:00 GMT in League Two this afternoon to look forward to.

It is starting to look slightly desperate at Bristol Rovers. They have lost each of their past seven league fixtures, having last picked up three points over two months ago.

Darrell Clarke's side host Notts County in one of the standout fixtures in the fourth tier.

Elsewhere, bottom club Newport County play host to Barrow and Cheltenham travel to Colchester United.

And it will be an interesting reception for Gillingham boss Gareth Ainsworth this afternoon as his side travel to his former club Shrewsbury.

Ainsworth left the then-League One Shrews to join Gillingham in March in a move that shocked many Salopian supporters.

  2. 'The pressure is on Walsall, not us new boys' - Woodmanpublished at 14:52 GMT 29 November 2025

Bromley have seriously impressed with a four-match winning streak and it's got people wondering if the side can produce something spectacular this season.

Only once across their past seven matches have they lost but today's task will be a true test of strength.

They head to Bescot Stadium to face league leaders Walsall but while the Ravens could earn a place at the top of the table with a win, should it be the Saddlers feeling the nerves?

"The pressure is really on Walsall, not us," Woodman told BBC Radio London.

"We are the new boys still in the league and we are not as a big a club, as big an outfit, but we've certainly got big hearts and big ambitions.

"These moments in the season can be defining for one reason only - that they give your players real belief that can achieve something. If you can sit top of the pile, then you really can start having a bit of belief that something special is going on."

  3. Spireites seek to exploit Swindon weaknesspublished at 14:50 GMT 29 November 2025

    Chesterfield v Swindon (15:00 GMT)

Swindon Town love that winning feeling.

No other side in League Two has spent as much time in the lead during matches as the Robins - but there's a catch.

While they may have spent 729 minutes in a winning position, once they reached it they've conceded eight goals. Sure, they've scored nine themselves in that same situation but it's a worry.

Now they face a Chesterfield side who haven't been defeated in seven league games and could join them on 31 points with a win, perhaps even move above Swindon if the Spireites give them a really good drubbing.

"Why we were able to score and play some wonderful football is that no one was expecting us to do it, and now they've watched us do it, they are planning to stop us," Swindon boss Ian Holloway told Radio Wiltshire.

"So we have to be able to change. The lads have to understand they can't keep doing the same thing."

There are 10 fixtures at 15:00 GMT in League One to get our teeth truly stuck into this afternoon.

It's a huge day for Tom Cleverley and Plymouth Argyle.

After beating fellow strugglers Port Vale last Saturday, they will hope to back that up with a victory against Kevin Nolan's Northampton Town at Home Park.

Meanwhile, Port Vale travel to Lincoln City in search of their first goal in six league fixtures.

Table-toppers Stevenage visit Wigan Athletic and third-placed Bradford City host Exeter City.

Cardiff City might have felt like they were almost nailed on for an immediate return to the Championship after a seven-game unbeaten run to start the season put them top of League One.

But slight inconsistency in their eight games since then, with four wins and four draws, means they very much still have a battle on their hands to go up.

The Bluebirds will finish the day in the top two at a minimum if they pick up a victory against Mansfield, and could even return to the summit.

The Stags have been staking their own claim for a play-off push but arrive in Wales following two straight defeats and will be hoping to get their season back on track.

    Luton v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

This is one of those league fixtures that for one reason or another doesn't come around very often and it's a big one between two sides vying for promotion.

It's 30 years since Luton and Bolton faced each other in a league game in April 1995.

They did meet in an FA Cup third-round tie in January 2024, which Luton eventually edged 2-1 in a replay after a goalless draw at Kenilworth Road.

The Kenny is the venue again today as the Hatters look to continue their relatively positive start to life under new boss Jack Wilshere, with three wins, a draw and two defeats from his opening six games.

Sixth-placed Bolton are just one point ahead of Luton and have been in impressive form, unbeaten in four (W3 D1) and have only lost three times so far this season.

    Stockport 1-1 Barnsley

    Honours even at Edgeley Park.

Defender Callum Connolly spares Stockport's blushes after the hosts missed a few chances in the second half.

Probably a fair result in the end as County stop the run of defeats and move up to third for now.

Barnsley are now unbeaten in three and are two points off the play-off spots, still with games in hand.

    Blackpool 0-3 Reading

A first away league win of the season for Reading and a very convincing one at that.

Worrying times for Ian Evatt after a promising start to life at Blackpool. That's now three games without a win for the Tangerines (D1 L2) and they're second from bottom.

The Royals move six points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the rest of today's games.

    MK Dons 2-1 Fleetwood

MK Dons hold out against Fleetwood to sail to the top of the League Two table.

The Dons took a 2-0 lead when a ricochet off the post landed perfectly for Aaron Nemane to rifle into the net but the clean sheet came under threat soon after.

Ched Evans, fresh onto the pitch, took four minutes to claw one back but the Cods were unable to make any further dent.

The Dons celebrate but they may want to take photos of their league position quickly - it might not stay that way for long.

    Accrington 1-0 Oldham

The full-time whistle has gone and Accrington Stanley pick up all three points!

In miserably wet conditions, the two sides were separated by an own goal from Oldham full-back Jamie Robson on the half-hour mark.

Oldham miss the opportunity to go within one point of the play-off positions ahead of 15:00 GMT kick-offs in League Two.

Accrington, meanwhile, are jubilant and jump to 17th on 21 points.
