After some early promise, this game has rather fizzled out in the past 15 minutes.

It's about settling things down now for the Saddlers now, they just need to try and look after the ball when they have it.

The home side have had the better of the game in the last 20 minutes or so.

The hosts have bossed the first half hour but there have been a couple of warning shots across bows, largely from Daniel Kanu.

Groans from the home fans as some neat Boro approach play on the left ends with an aimless cross nowhere near a red and white shirt.

The fans get excited again as the ball breaks to Luther James-Wildin 25 yards out but his low effort deflects well wide.

The subsequent corner is met by the head of Carl Piergianni who can only head wide of the upright in a back-post tussle.

Blackpool captain James Husband goes for a skipper's spectacular strike as the ball is pummelling backwards from a clearance directly into the defenders feet.

He fires from afar with a pacey effort but rather than head into the net for a jaw-dropper, it sizzles into the stands.

Boro win a free-kick in a dangerous area on the right but Dan Sweeney's darting run to the near post sees him glance a header well over Brad Collins' crossbar.
