    Chesterfield 2-1 Grimsby

Andy Cook has absolutely rattled the Chesterfield crossbar with a header from a right-wing cross as the Mariners try to find a leveller.

Even a point would be precious for them tonight as they have a game in hand on their hosts, a point ahead, and possess a better goal difference.

Gillingham had all the chances in the first half at Cheltenham, but their 1-0 lead has been cancelled out by Isaac Hutchinson for the Robins.

So it's 1-1 there - and the same scoreline between Colchester and Accrington.

Barrow would love that scoreline right now, but they're still 1-0 down at home to Oldham - who could yet have a voice in the play-off conversation.

  3. CLOSE!published at 21:15 BST 14 April

    Huddersfield 1-0 Cardiff

So close to a second for Town as Lasse Sorensen whips in a teasing first-time cross and teenage sub George Sebine can only divert inches wide of Nathan Trott's post at full-stretch as he seeks a first senior goal.

Cardiff have brought on Yousef Salech, Gabriel Osho, David Turnbull and Callum Robinson on as they try to turn the tide.

    Ruben Rodrigues (67 mins)

    Nope. As you were...

This is another fine goal too as Ruben Rodrigues is played into acres of space down the left and glides into the box before stepping across his man and whipping a curling low shot past Filip Marschall and in off the base of the far post.

It's the first time Stevenage have conceded four in a game since October 2024... when they lost 4-1 to Bolton.

Town for the moment have their backs against the wall.

Rotherham fans can start planning their trips to Gillingham, Colchester and several other League Two venues next season.

Their side now trail 3-0 at Wigan, with Callum Wright netting the Latics' third.

Port Vale won't be accompanying the Millers just yet, but it's surely only a matter of time before their fate is also confirmed.

For now, they're holding still holding Barnsley 0-0 after Joe Gauci saved an Adam Phillips penalty at Vale Park.

  7. goal

GOAL: Bolton 3-1 Stevenagepublished at 21:08 BST 14 April

    Dan Kemp (64 mins)

    Surely not?

Ten-man Stevenage have one back, and it's some strike from Dan Kemp who drives forward from midfield and beats Jack Bonham with a long-range blast into the top-right corner.

Surely the 10-men can't mount the unlikeliest of comebacks?

  8. CLOSE!published at 21:07 BST 14 April

    Bolton 3-0 Stevenage

Rob Apter wants to get in on the fun for the Trotters but his effort from the edge of the box flies narrowly past the base of Filip Marschall's upright.

His fellow sub Mason Burstow comes even closer, exchanging passes with Johnny Kenny before lashing a 25-yard effort inches over the bar.

Bolton really purring tonight, some of their attacking football has been champagne stuff.

  9. Postpublished at 21:06 BST 14 April

    Huddersfield 1-0 Cardiff

Cardiff huffing and puffing but can't get anything going.

Chris Willock has teed-up Alex Robertson to fire wide from just outside the box while Perry Ng has sent Ollie Tanner racing through on goal but he can't capitalise and the back-tracking Bali Mumba gets in his way and manages to win a goal-kick with a ricochet off the unfortunate Bluebirds man.

I hope it is good sticky tape or else Brooky (Andrew Brook the Huddersfield Town Kit Manager) is going to run out of replacement shirts!

  11. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:03 BST 14 April

    Bolton 3-0 Stevenage

Amario Cozier-Duberry has had an early curtain call as he returns to full fitness.

Steven Schumacher thinks this is done, and he's probably right. Sam Dalby also comes off with Mason Burstow and Rob Apter coming on to join the fancy dress party.

Bolton have come as the 1970 Brazil side, it would appear, based on some of their play tonight.

  12. Postpublished at 21:01 BST 14 April

It is amazing the sequence of head injuries to Huddersfield Town players.

  13. CLOSE!published at 21:01 BST 14 April

    Huddersfield 1-0 Cardiff

Cardiff trying to get something going as Ollie Tanner finds Rubin Colwill on the edge of the box but his effort skews into Jak Alnwick's side-netting.

Radinio Balker has been receiving treatment for the hosts after a nasty clash of heads with Omari Kellyman, who seems to have come off the better.

Balker will continue with a bandaged head after sustaining a cut above his eye.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:58 BST 14 April

    Chesterfield 2-1 Grimsby

Inches from a third for Chesterfield on the break as Tom Naylor's cross is thumped into the upright by Lee Bonis.

Wigan's Joe Taylor hammers another nail into Rotherham's League One coffin.

Taylor has doubled the Latics' advantage and, unless Rotherham can find at least two goals in the last 35 minutes or so, they are heading for the fourth tier.

Wigan, though, will be all but mathematically safe and almost touching the giddy heights of a top-half finish.

  17. goal

GOAL: Bolton 3-0 Stevenagepublished at 20:54 BST 14 April

    Amario Cozier-Duberry (49 mins)

Good to have him back, Trotters fans?

This is some lovely approach play from the hosts who ping it in and out of the Boro defence on the edge of their own box before the ball is spread to the left where Sam Dalby dummies allowing Amario Cozier-Duberry to race into space to side-foot powerfully to Filip Marshall's right and into the corner.

He races to the dugout to hug the medical team who helped him get back on the pitch during a four-month absence.

Boro had come close through Jamie Reid and Harvey White moments before the goal but that is surely game over.

Barrow's grip on EFL status is becoming more desperate as they fall behind at home to Oldham, with Kai Payne the man on target for the Latics early in the second half.

The Bluebirds, who are second bottom, will stay four points shy of safety unless they can find a response.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:52 BST 14 April

    Bolton 2-0 Stevenage

Bolton should be out of sight.

A stretching Sam Dalby has blazed over Filip Marshall's bar from barely a couple of yards out from Amario Cozier-Duberry's low ball into the mixer.

  20. Bluebirds 'lacklustre going forward'published at 20:51 BST 14 April

    HT: Huddersfield 1-0 Cardiff

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

The final ball has let Cardiff down, when they've got in the final third the final pass has been a bit astray. If they can brush up on that they'll create more chnaces. They've been a bit lacklustre going forward. Huddersfield deserve the lead and Cardiff need to up their game.

But they've got to be aware of Huddersfield going forward. Radulovic had been a big threat before going off and the front players have caused all sorts of problems.

But the game isn't over and if Cardiff can get back in the game Huddersfield might freeze a little bit.
