Leaders Cardiff are drawing 1-1 at Wycombe.

Mansfield have doubled their lead against Bradford thanks to Lucas Akins' header from a Stephen McLaughlin cross into the box.

Reading are also 2-0 up at Burton.

Blackpool lead at Port Vale but the Seasiders are down to 10-men after James Husband was given his marching orders just before the break.

Wigan lead Barnsley thanks to Dara Costelloe's early goal.

AFC Wimbledon are drawing 1-1 at Letyon Orient.

Exeter v Luton, Northampton v Stockport, Rotherham v Peterborough and Stevenage v Plymouth are all goalless.

  2. 'No rhythm to the game'published at 15:55 GMT 1 January

    HT: Doncaster 0-0 Bolton

    Keith Hill
Former Bolton and Barnsley boss on BBC Radio Manchester

There has been no rhythm to the game from an attacking point of view. It has been a really poor game to watch. I would have expected much more in terms of getting the ball into the box, with having two upfront.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 GMT 1 January

    Shrewsbury 0-0 Bristol Rovers

The last game to reach the interval in League Two is of course one of our two feature games.

Multiple niggling injuries and an early game-ending injury to Anthony Scully saw plenty of stoppages.

An offside flag saved Shrewsbury from facing an already awarded penalty as Shrewsbury fans voiced their frustrations. Bar John Marquis hitting the post past his former club, Rovers have been the better side.

  4. 'Cheap goal to giveaway'published at 15:53 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 1-0 Walsall

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

A really cheap goal to giveaway from Walsall, a poor defensive clearance is well capitalised, a really tough one to take for Matt Sadler's team.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 1-0 Walsall

    Cambridge lead at the break.

A game of very few chances in truth until a defensive mishap by Walsall's Rico Browne allowed James Brophy to pounce and set-up Ben Knight to fire the U's in front two minutes into stoppage time.

Mamadou Jobe then almost doubled the advantage for the U's but was somehow denied from close range following a corner.

Work to do for the Saddlers.

  6. OFF THE LINE!published at 15:51 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 1-0 Walsall

Cambridge almost double their lead but Mamadou Jobe has somehow missed a sitter from close range!

The corner comes in for the U's but Jobe cannot divert it past the Walsall bodies on the line.

    Huge let-off for Walsall.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 1 January

    Doncaster 0-0 Bolton

    No goals in this one.

Doncaster have come closest to scoring but Tyler Miller has kept Bolton in it after superbly denying Owen Bailey's goalbound header.

  8. Postpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Doncaster 0-0 Bolton

Ethan Erhahon has an effort from from 20-yards out but the Bolton man's shot flies over the bar

At the other end, Doncaster play it across the box but neither Harry Clifton or Glenn Middleton can get on the end of it.

  9. goal

GOAL: Cambridge 1-0 Walsallpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Ben Knight (45+2 mins)

Cambridge take the lead just before the interval!

Walsall make an absolute hash of trying to clear their lines and it drops in the area for James Brophy.

He tees it up for Ben Knight to smash home into the corner from 15 yards out.

  10. Postpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Shrewsbury 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Luke Thomas rushes down the left and delivers a cross towards Kacper Lopata, but his glancing header is saved comfortably.

We are into five minutes injury time in Shropshire now.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Lincoln 0-0 Huddersfield

A dominant first half for Lincoln but nothing to show for it. The automatic promotion-chasing Imps have won five of their past six games and should probably be a couple of goals to the good already.

Freddie Draper and Reeco Hackett have each had a couple of presentable chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Lincoln have had 11 shots compared to just two for the Terriers.

  12. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 0-0 Walsall

Four minutes added on at the end of the first half. Most of that for when Jamille Matt went down injured for Walsall.

  13. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Lincoln 0-0 Huddersfield

Just the one added minute at the end of this first half.

  14. 'Lincoln need to be more clinical'published at 15:45 GMT 1 January

    Lincoln 0-0 Huddersfield

    Mark Hone
Former Lincoln City defender on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Lincoln just need to show that clinical finishing in the final third. They have had three good chances, but just not been able to put any away.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:44 GMT 1 January

    Shrewsbury 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Seventh caution of the season for Will Boyle, clumsily bringing down Shaqai Ford who was too quick for him.

  16. Postpublished at 15:42 GMT 1 January

    Shrewsbury 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Medical staff come onto the playing area in concern for Tom Lockyer, but it is just a knock and after a couple of minutes of treatment he seems alright to continue.

There will be a few minutes of injury time to come shortly, after a few small stoppages in quick succession.

  17. Postpublished at 15:42 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 0-0 Walsall

Just as we say it's not got going, Daniel Kanu almost puts Walsall ahead but for an excellent tackle by Cambridge defender Liam Bennett.

Ryan Finnigan bursts forward and lays it left to Kanu but just as he gets the finish away, Bennett is there to thwart him.

  18. Postpublished at 15:41 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 0-0 Walsall

It's the first league meeting between these two sides for almost five years. Safe to say it hasn't quite got going yet.

They last faced each other in League Two on 6 March 2021. Cambridge with a 1-0 home win that day, completing the double over the Saddlers after winning 2-0 in the reverse fixture in October 2020.

The U’s went on to finish second and win automatic promotion that season.

  19. 'Walsall look slightly more likely'published at 15:40 GMT 1 January

    Cambridge 0-0 Walsall

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

It is still scrappy on the whole, but it was Walsall who had another half chance just a few moments ago, as they look slightly more likely to get a goal.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:39 GMT 1 January

Bolton keeper Tyler Miller makes an excellent save to deny Owen Bailey's header from Luke Molyneux's cross creeping into the top corner.

Miller is called into action again as Jay McGrath's poke an effort at goal but Miller holds onto it.
