  1. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 2-2 Burtonpublished at 13:43 GMT 7 February

    Jake Beesley (52 mins)

It's too easy for Jake Beesley - who gets his second of the game - and Burton are level again!

It's really slack from the Port Vale defence.

Burton work the ball far too easily into the Port Vale area where Kyran Lofthouse has space and time to float the ball into the area.

Unmarked, two yards out, Beesley almost lets the ball hit him as it trundles over the line. Vale's defence were standing like statues.

    2-2!

  2. Postpublished at 13:43 GMT 7 February

    Luton 1-0 Bradford

Luton are having to weather a Bantams storm at present.

Jordan Clark conceded a free-kick on the City left and it will mean another dangerous set-piece coming up...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:43 GMT 7 February

    Crawley 0-0 Crewe

Crawley boss Scott Lindsey made one change at the break as Johnny Russell makes way for Lewis Richards.

And Richards is right at it as he forces a top save from Ian Lawlor from his cracking strike.

  4. Postpublished at 13:42 GMT 7 February

    Port Vale 2-1 Burton Albion

Ben Waine has been a constant thorn in Burton's defence this afternoon - Vale boss Jon Brady can be very pleased with the New Zealand international's efforts so far this afternoon.

Waine hits a left footed shot on the bounce after the ball sat up nicely but from 25 yards out, he can't trouble the keeper and it flies over the bar.

Little things like that can light up a game and get your team going.

  6. Postpublished at 13:41 GMT 7 February

    Luton 1-0 Bradford

Bradford are playing with double the intensity of the first half. Graham Alexander clearly made his point. They've not had much fortune with some of the early decisions in this half, however...

Tyreik Wright's looping cross from the left almost catches Josh Keeley out, but the ball drops beyond the far post untouched and the visitors have another corner.

  7. Postpublished at 13:39 GMT 7 February

    Swindon 1-0 Oldham

Bright start to the second half from Oldham as Kane Taylor flicks the ball towards Calum Kavanagh, but Ryan Tafazolli is there to make the recovery tackle.

  8. Postpublished at 13:38 GMT 7 February

    Luton 1-0 Bradford

26 seconds into the second half and Bradford have a fine chance to equalise as Aden Baldwin springs Ibou Touray on the left who slots Jenson Metcalfe into the box to dink a cross into the mixer for Kayden Jackson... who slips as he tries to unleash a 10-yard volley and can't connect in the middle of the goal.

    Let-off for the Hatters.

Why are the matches starting at 15.01 according to your sports page?

    Adrian, Wallington

Thanks for getting in touch Adrian. It's to raise awareness of the Every Minute Matters campaign, with the initiative in place for all 36 matches across the three divisions between 5 and 9 February.

EFL sponsor Sky Bet and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) have been working together since May 2024 to highlight the importance of speed when it comes to performing life-saving CPR.

Later kick-off times will serve as "a stark reminder that every minute matters", the EFL said.

  10. Postpublished at 13:38 GMT 7 February

    Port Vale 2-1 Burton Albion

What were the words of wisdom that Burton boss Gary Bowyer left ringing in the ears of his players at half-time I do wonder?

They will certainly have to tighten up at the back in the second period, that's for sure.

  11. Postpublished at 13:37 GMT 7 February

    Luton 1-0 Bradford

No changes at the break, which is perhaps a touch surprising from a Bantams perspective.

Plenty of work done on the pitch at half-time, it passed an 8am pitch inspection but it showing signs of cutting up after all the rain during the week.

  15. 'Luton showed that quality'published at 13:26 GMT 7 February

    HT: Luton 1-0 Bradford

    Mark Bower
Former Bradford City defender on BBC Radio Leeds

Luton just started to find little pockets of space to get behind the Bradford defence.

The longer the half went on, Luton showed that quality to exploit, and that's what led to the goal.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:23 GMT 7 February

    Swindon 1-0 Oldham

James Scanlon's debut goal for Swindon separates the two sides at the break.

The Robins are up to second in League Two as things stand.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:23 GMT 7 February

    Crawley 0-0 Crewe

    Goalless at the Broadfield Stadium.

It's not been the best half of football. Crawley have shaded possession but Crewe have had more shots at goal.

Here's hoping we get a better second.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 GMT 7 February

    Luton 1-0 Bradford

Luton have been growing in confidence throughout the game and are a goal to the good at the break, thanks to Jake Richards' low finish into the bottom corner six minutes before the break.

It's been very watchable, a lot of shots, not many of them on target, but Jordan Clark's curler off the bar would have been some strike and Luton have probably done enough to lead by more.

Work for Graham Alexander to do to turn this one around, Paul Mullin has had a torrid debut thus far against Luton's big backline and their early promise faded pretty quickly.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 GMT 7 February

    Port Vale 2-1 Burton Albion

Half-time and a breathless first period of League One action comes to a close.

It's been a sensational first 45 minutes at Vale Park.

Ethon Archer lit the touch paper early on with a fabulous free kick from an angle which found the top corner, leaving Albion keeper Brad Collins no chance.

The Brewers equalised 20 minutes later when Jake Beesley instinctively flicked the ball in at the near post - a terrific poacher's strike.

Vale re-took the lead just three minutes afterwards however when Ben Waine - who has been lively throughout - beat Collins from close range after the visitors failed to deal with a corner.

Albion could, and probably should, have equalised late on in the first half when Kyran Lofthouse saw his close range effort well kept out by Vale keeper Joe Gauci.

It's been frenetic and very enjoyable. More in the second half please, lads.

  20. CLOSE!published at 13:19 GMT 7 February

    Port Vale 2-1 Burton Albion

What a save from Port Vale's Joe Gauci!

Another long throw from Burton Albion causes mayhem in the middle and lands at the feet of Kyran Lofthouse who takes a touch before firing a left footed strike which is saved brilliantly by Gauci at point blank range.

Such an important moment just before half time.
