Just the 77 goals for you in 23 games today, plus red cards and a host of stoppage-time drama, everything you could want from a Saturday afternoon.

Cardiff and Lincoln continue to showcase their promotion credentials in League One with convincing wins in potentially tricky away games while Northampton landed the big blow in the relegation scrap with a fine win over Stevenage.

Bromley left it agonisingly late to complete a comeback win at Fleetwood to maintain their five-point lead at the summit of League Two but the promotion and play-off race below them is looking hotter than ever, especially as basement boys Harrogate stunned in-form Cambridge to end their miserable run of three points from 20 games since their last win in September.

Thanks for your company today, we'll be back with Championship action for the next four straight days and return here as usual next Saturday for all the fun of the League One and Two fair.

    Have a good evening!

The birds of League Two fly towards the automatic promotion places...

Jude Arthurs' late winner for Bromley at Fleetwood sees the Ravens remain top of League Two and go 12 unbeaten.

Notts County's important 2-1 win over Barrow sees the Magpies stay five points behind in second.

Swindon's win over Oldham in the early kick-off sees the Robins end the day up into third.

Cambridge drop out of the top three and down to fifth after their shock defeat at bottom side Harrogate.

MK Dons are up to fourth after their 3-2 win at Cheltenham.

Walsall remain in the play-off places, but only just after their 3-1 defeat at home to Barnet.

Grimsby drop down to 12th after their stalemate at Newport.

And Shrewsbury go level on points with Harrogate at the foot of the table after their 2-0 defeat at Colchester.

Wigan are sinking like a lead pie. I've stood by this manager until now, but enough is enough. We're playing relegation roulette and it needs to stop!

Leaders Bromley come from behind to beat Fleetwood 2-1 and equal their longest unbeaten streak in the EFL to 12 games.

Cambridge's 14-game unbeaten league run comes to an end at bottom side Harrogate who in turn end their record of no wins in their past 20 league games.

Notts County make it six wins on the bounce after overcoming a struggling Barrow side who have now lost their past five.

MK Dons survive a late scare at Cheltenham to hold on and pick three points in a 3-2 win and go six games undefeated, while the Robins suffer a third defeat in a row.

Walsall's woes continue as they fall to a 3-1 home defeat against Barnet. The Saddlers are now without a win in five games and have recorded just two victories in 11 matches. The Bees are unbeaten in their past five now.

Bristol Rovers' run of back-to-back wins before today came to an end as they suffered a 3-2 defeat against Chesterfield.

And new Shrewsbury head coach Gavin Cowan tasted defeat for the first time as his struggling side lost 2-0 at Colchester.

    League One

League One table next to Lincoln celebratingImage source, Opta/Shutterstock

Yes, fine, the top three are as they were this morning, but that doesn't do an afternoon of drama justice.

Cardiff were down to 10-men and 0-0 at Rotherham after 21 minutes but rallied to pull-off a convincing 3-0 win while Lincoln had to come from a goal down at Plymouth on their way to a 4-1 win to keep the two point and four goal difference gap intact.

Bolton were hoping to close the gap when leading 3-0 after 32 minutes with the top-two stuttering but were left to hold on for a 3-2 win over Barnsley while Stockport and Huddersfield lost ground with home draws with Leyton Orient and Blackpool respectively.

Luton's lunchtime win over Bradford has the Bantams in their sights while at the other end Northampton's 3-1 win over Stevenage hauled them out of the drop-zone on a day when they were the only side in the bottom eight to win.

Wigan's pasting at Peterborough has them in the bottom-three and the pressure mounting on Ryan Lowe while Doncaster's 4-0 loss to Wycombe has dealt their own goal difference a huge blow.

There were 44 goals across League One today if my maths hasn't let me down during another exciting day across the third-tier.

The top three sides all won with table-toppers Cardiff sweeping aside 10-man Rotherham 3-0, second-placed Lincoln coming from behind to thump Plymouth 4-1 and third-placed Bolton hanging on to a vital three points with a 3-2 victory at home to Barnsley.

Fourth-placed Stockport were held to a goalless draw at home by Leyton Orient and Bradford City lost at Luton at lunchtime.

Huddersfield came from two goals behind to draw with Blackpool while Peterborough thrashed Wigan Athletic 6-1.

Wycombe thrashed Doncaster to go up to eighth in League One while Northampton beat Stevenage at home to climb out of the relegation zone.

Port Vale's entertaining draw with Burton at lunchtime leaves the pair remaining in the bottom four while AFC Wimbledon edged out Reading in a five goal thriller 3-2 and Mansfield's clash with Exeter City ended goalless.

    Michael Hortin
    Assistant Editor, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Forget about the boos from the home fans.

That was a brilliant performance from the Imps.

    A team performance.

The playing staff you have to give credit to too.

  8. 'The best performance of the season by a mile'published at 17:17 GMT 7 February

    FT: Harrogate 2-1 Cambridge

    Tim Steere
BBC Radio York's Harrogate Town commentator

The fans are dancing in front of us, the players, what an unbelievable effort.

Two brilliant goals, second half they were pushed back, Cambridge made sub after sub, pushed hard, but Town's defensive work was incredible, their desire, everyone was united.

The quality of the first half, the resolute second half, the best performance of the season by a mile.

  9. 'This was a pressure game for Lincoln and they came out on top'published at 17:16 GMT 7 February

    FT: Plymouth 1-4 Lincoln

    Gavin Gordon
Former Lincoln striker on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

There are different ways to win games.

This was a pressure game for Lincoln and they came out on top.

They knew they needed to do something because it was too frantic, it was not sticking, but they got the ball wide and created the space for Lincoln to take the chances.

What a game of football that was.

    Rotherham 0-3 Cardiff

The leaders played well over 70 minutes of this game a man short after Ryan Wintle's early red-card, but you'd never know it.

Omari Kellyman swept home a deserved opener shortly before the break and Chris Willock capitalised on some slack defending from the struggling Millers to squeeze home the second before sub Isaak Davies fired a last-gasp third.

This could have been a tricky day for the Bluebirds, against a gritty opponent in decent form and fighting for their lives, but they made it look pretty easy, even with 10-men.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 17:02 GMT 7 February

    Huddersfield 2-2 Blackpool

Full-time and it was a tale of two halves at the Accu Stadium.

In the first period, Blackpool raced into a two-goal lead when Ashley Fletcher prodded home from close range before Karoy Anderson headed home for the Seasiders on his debut for the club.

Marcus Harness grabbed a goal back for Huddersfield with a bullet header for Town with 15 minutes to go before substitute Cameron Ashia grabbed the home side a point which lifts them up to fifth following Yorkshire rivals Bradford's defeat at lunchtime.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 17:00 GMT 7 February

    Plymouth 1-4 Lincoln

13 games unbeaten for Lincoln... and 33 points from them.

They had to come from behind after Bim Pepple's spectacular opener, but Reeco Hackett's corner was headed in by Freddie Draper before the break and after Pepple went off with a head injury, Hackett curled home to complete the turnaround, then swung a corner straight in for his eighth goal of the League One season and there was still time for Ryan One to net a debut goal off the bench.

More than 600 Imps fans will make the long trip home with a smile on their face on an otherwise filthy day.

    Bolton 3-2 Barnsley

    Game of two halves?

Sam Dalby's early double and John McAtee's third against his old club had Bolton threatening to run riot, but four changes at the break turned the tide for the Tykes and Luca Connell and Adam Phillips got them back within one to set up a nervous final half-hour at the Toughsheet.

In the end it's a fourth straight win for the third-placed Trotters who keep pace with the top-two.

Utter humiliation for Wigan Athletic and absolutely terrific for Peterborough United and Kyrell Lisbie.

After scoring twice in the opening nine minutes, Lisbie completes his hat-trick on 90th minute to make it 6-1 to Posh.

And Northampton Town have sealed the win against Stevenage - Sam Hoskins has made it 3-1 to the Cobblers.

    Harrogate 2-1 Cambridge

What a win for bottom of the table Harrogate against a Cambridge side with the best unbeaten run across all four divisions as well as winning their past six in a row before today.

Goals from Bryn Morris and Emmerson Sutton gave Simon Weaver's side a two-goal lead with Liam Bennett pulling a goal back for the visitors.

But it is a well earned win for the Sulphurites who had no wins in their past 20 league games and end five-match losing streak.

The U's 14-game unbeaten league run comes to a grinding halt.
