  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:42 GMT 20 December 2025

    Sheffield United 2-0 Birmingham

After picking up an early yellow card, Birmingham's Keshi Anderson has been substituted after the half hour mark for Marc Leonard.

Chris Davies may have been worried about the potential of seeing his side go down to nine men before the break following Tommy Doyle's red card.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:42 GMT 20 December 2025

    QPR 3-0 Leicester

    Frustration for Leicester.

They just have not got started.

    Bristol City 1-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough nearly have themselves an equaliser and it is nearly a goal at his former stomping ground for Tommy Conway.

Hayden Hackney plays it through to him and Conway's effort is just past the post.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:39 GMT 20 December 2025

    Charlton 0-0 Oxford United

A couple of opportunities for the hosts to break the deadlock.

First, James Bree's shot from 18 yards is well stopped by Oxford United keeper Jamie Cumming.

Then, Isaac Olaofe is played in on goal but Cumming makes another good stop to prevent Charlton from taking the lead.

For the visitors, Brian De Keersmaecker has received a yellow card for a foul on Rob Apter.

  5. 'Sacked in the morning'?published at 15:38 GMT 20 December 2025

    QPR 3-0 Leicester

    Owynn Palmer-Atkin
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

"Sacked in the morning" is being sung by the QPR fans aimed in the direction of Marti Cifuentes.

The pressure is certainly ramping up against him. I'm not sure we are quite at that point yet though.

The sound of "Marti, what's the score?" is echoing around the ground.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:38 GMT 20 December 2025

    Watford 0-0 Stoke

Jaden Philogene had struck the woodwork with an acrobatic effort but Ipswich do not have to wait long for a goal.

It comes from a corner, swung in by Leif Davis, and Cedric Kipre does the rest with a header that goes in off the underside of the bar.

After clearing one off the line earlier, Kipre is proving decisive at Portman Road.

    Karamoko Dembele (33 mins)

    Oh my...

More brilliant build-up play from the home side ends with Karamoko Dembele collecting a pass from Rumarn Burrell and adding a third for the home side.

    This is embarrassing for Leicester.

  9. 'This is tough now'published at 15:33 GMT 20 December 2025

    QPR 2-0 Leicester

    Stephen Clemence
Former Leicester captain on BBC Radio Leicester

We spoke about doing the basics right before the game and so far Leicester haven't.

This is tough now and a great one to come back from - but as we know the next goal is crucial.

If you go 2-0 at half time it is disappointing, but if it is 3-0 it looks pretty bleak.

    Derby 0-1 Portsmouth

Ben Brereton brings a save out of Nicolas Madsen.

Derby have had seven shots to Portsmouth's one and have had 65% possession.

    They are losing...

  11. Postpublished at 15:32 GMT 20 December 2025

    Hull 0-0 West Brom

Another huge chance for West Brom to go in front as Karlan Grant is only a few yards out as the ball reaches him, but he volleys wide.

With that and the earlier miss from Isaac Price, will the Baggies come to regret those?

  12. goal

    Gustavo Hamer (28 mins)

The Blades are in total control now!

And it's a goal entirely of Birmingham City's making.

A slack pass from Keshi Anderson lets Gustavo Hamer in and the midfielder rounds Ryan Allsop before firing home into the roof of the net.

Well, it is that time of year to be giving out presents, and that was a gift for Hamer who did not turn down the opportunity.

    Richard Kone (29 mins)

If anyone can, Richard Kone can.

Jimmy Dunne picks up a free kick and his cross is deflected into the path of Richard Kone who converts for his fifth goal of the season.

Earth to Leicester, we started half an hour ago lads.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:30 GMT 20 December 2025

    Watford 0-0 Stoke

Watford's joint top-scorer Luca Kjerrumgaard has a go at goal but that is not troubling anyone.

    Tom Ince then heads wide.

    It's a slow-burn this one.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 20 December 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Middlesbrough

Boro goalkeeper Sol Brynn is forced into a save from Sinclair Armstrong as Bristol City go looking for a second.

The Robins have collected 17 points from their last seven games with today's opponents - very much Boro's bogey team.

  17. 'Better play from Leicester'published at 15:28 GMT 20 December 2025

    QPR 1-0 Leicester

    Stephen Clemence
Former Leicester captain on BBC Radio Leicester

There has been some better play and some great movement from Leicester.

The QPR defenders don't know what to do at times. I think you can see that if the Foxes want to get back into this game they need to get the ball out to Abdul Fatawu.

  18. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 20 December 2025

    Charlton 0-0 Oxford United

Little goalmouth action to tell you about at The Valley so far.

There has been a few throw-ins from Will Vaulks into the Charlton box which have caused a little bit of bother but that's about it in truth.

  19. Postpublished at 15:27 GMT 20 December 2025

    Derby 0-1 Portsmouth

It opens up for Rhian Brewster but his fierce shot is blocked by the massed ranks of the Portsmouth defence.

Pompey do not want to start trying to soak this up.

  20. Postpublished at 15:26 GMT 20 December 2025

    Hull 0-0 West Brom

No side has lost four away games in the Championship than West Brom with eight.

They will not go anywhere unless they become harder to beat on the road and they should be in front here, but Isaac Price scoops it over from barely three yards after being picked out by Karlan Grant.
