    Hearts v Kilmarnock (19:45)

There are five changes for Hearts following their goalless draw at Motherwell.

Frankie Kent and Christian Borchgrevink come into the defence, while Tomas Magnusson takes up a midfield berth and Alan Forrest starts on the wing, with Pierre Landry Kabore in attack.

Stephen Kingsley, Craig Halkett, Oisin McEntee, Blair Spittal and Claudio Braga all drop to the bench.

It's four switches for Kilmarnock after their winless run dragged on with a home draw against Dundee United on Saturday.

Out go David Watson, Scott Tiffoney, Marley Watkins and Bruce Anderson, with Tom Lowery, Jack Thomson, Greg Kiltie and Tyreece John-Jules coming in.

For St Mirren, Scott Tanser is preferred to Declan John, Fraser Taylor comes into midfield, and Jonah Ayunga partners Mikael Mandron, with Dan Nlundulu on the bench.

I fear for Dundee for three reasons. Celtic can potentially go top of the league if things don't go Hearts' way. Defeat to Dundee will be fresh in their minds and it's Martin O'Neill's swansong.

Celtic will start fast and Dundee are in for a long night.

  4. Heart-warming night for Budge?published at 19:13 GMT 3 December 2025

There may well be a tear or two shed as Ann Budge watches her final game before she steps down as Hearts chairperson after eleven-and-a-half years at the helm.

The home fans will also be looking for a sterling show from their players as well as they look to get back to winning ways after a run of one win in five.

And they are strong favourites to win as they take on a Kilmarnock side who are winless in seven.

  5. Goals hard to come by for Rangerspublished at 19:10 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United v Rangers (19:45)

Rangers drew a blank at home to Falkirk on Saturday and have managed just 17 goals from their 13 Premiership games.

Summer signings Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski have hit just one league goal each.

Only two players have more than one, skipper James Tavernier with four - and Danilo on two.

Dundee United have conceded 10 from six matches at Tannadice, which suggests the visitors will get chances.

  6. O'Neill aims to maintain 100% league recordpublished at 19:08 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic v Dundee (19:45)

He'll be a hard act to follow...

A surprise return for Martin O'Neill has been a roaring success, with Celtic winning six of their seven matches under the veteran manager, the only blemish being a Europa League loss to Midtjylland.

Dundee enjoyed a shock 2-0 victory over the champions at Dens Park in October but have not won at Celtic Park since May 2001 when O'Neill already had the league wrapped up on his way to a domestic treble in the debut season of his trophy-laden first stint.

  7. 'O'Neill has best interests of Celtic in his heart'published at 19:04 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic v Dundee (19:45)

Will Wilfried Nancy be in attendance tonight?

Lots of gushing praise for stand-in manager Martin O'Neill in that Celtic statement...

Chairman Peter Lawwell says: "Martin has shown the kind of leadership he was always renowned for and together with Shaun [Maloney] and the others in our backroom team they have given us that level of quality which has been so important to us in recent weeks. Everyone at the club offers our appreciation for the job they have done."

Principal shareholder Dermot Desmond adds: "I want to add my heartfelt thanks to Martin for all he has done in recent weeks. He was the man we hoped could bring us through these last few weeks positively and together with Shaun and our other coaches and our players, they have done a wonderful job.

"I will always hold Martin in such high regard for what he has done for Celtic and for what he is as a man – a man of such professionalism and integrity and someone who undoubtedly will always have the best interests of Celtic in his heart."

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Aberdeen have lost just one of their past seven league games, winning five – a sequence which has also seen them clock up five clean sheets.

St Mirren are without a victory in the same number of games – losing six and conceding plenty of goals in the process.

For the hosts it is an opportunity to keep their resurgence going, while the Paisley side will be hoping the game can mark the start of a turnaround in fortunes.

I thought Hearts were terrible at Motherwell on Saturday. They didn't lay a glove on them.

They need a win tonight to set them up for Sunday's visit to Celtic.

Can they get the ball wide and get crosses in the box? That's when they are at their best. Can they get the crowd onside?

  16. Big Wednesday in Scottish Premiershippublished at 18:41 GMT 3 December 2025

We have a very busy evening in the Scottish Premiership with 10 sides in action.

After three games without a victory, Hearts' lead at the top has dwindled to two points but they are 20 points better off than visitors Kilmarnock.

Celtic Park is sure to be emotional as Martin O'Neill waves goodbye after a successful stint as interim boss. The 73-year-old has a 100% league record and will want to go out with a bang against Dundee.

Third-placed Motherwell are unbeaten in six Premiership outings and have only lost twice all season. One of those defeats was to Falkirk, who have been beaten just once in their past eight games and three points tonight would lift the promoted Bairns above the men from Fir Park.

Rangers were frustrated by Falkirk at the weekend. Can they find more bite at Tannadice or can Jim Goodwin find a first managerial win against the Ibrox side at the 17th time of asking?

Aberdeen are on the up and St Mirren are on the slide. Will it stay that way at Pittodrie?

Lots going on. Let's get cracking...
