    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

  2. CLOSE!published at 19:51 GMT 3 December 2025

    Falkirk 0-0 Motherwell

Falkirk about a foot away from taking the lead.

Alfredo Agyeman wins the ball and plays a quick one-two releasing him rampaging into the Motherwell box. He's got all the time in the world, but he drags his shot wide of the far post.

    Huge let off for Motherwell.

    Dundee United 0-0 Rangers

BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

With Wilfried Nancy's appointment now rubber-stamped, the immediate focus within this stadium seems to be to keep the heat on Hearts and send Martin O'Neill off on a high.

You can sense a determination to do just that. There's an energy around this arena.

You wonder if Dundee are equipped to deal with all that might come their way this evening but they can hang their hats on the recent win over Celtic and a vital three points last weekend.

If they are to emerge with anything, they will likely have to deliver one of their best displays under Steven Pressley.

  9. More to come from Motherwell - Askoupublished at 19:41 GMT 3 December 2025

    Falkirk v Motherwell (19:45)

Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou tells BBC Sportsound: "We are pleased with the progress we are making and the development we've gone through, but I still think there's a lot of things we can improve.

"Hopefully we'll see us being able to get more wins over the next period of time than we were at the start of the season. There's some indication it's going in that direction, but we need to make sure it's facts."

  10. 'We're punching above our weight' - McGlynnpublished at 19:40 GMT 3 December 2025

    Falkirk v Motherwell (19:45)

Falkirk manager John McGlynn tells Sportsound: "I'm very pleased, the boys have adapted very, very well [to the Scottish Premiership].

"We just want to add to our tally which isn't easy. We are punching above our weight.

"Tonight we've freshened up a bit. Three games in six days, a hard game against Rangers, a hard game tonight and a hard game at the weekend.

"It's a difficult game tonight, but we will look to come out and play. We're at home and we've got a good record, we want to come out of here with a win."

  11. 'We believe we can turn a corner'published at 19:39 GMT 3 December 2025

    Aberdeen v St Mirren (19:45)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "We're looking forward to it. Results haven't been good, but performances have been OK.

"We've spoken about turning performances in results. We believe we can turn a corner against an Aberdeen team in good form.

"People say the only statistic that matters is the result, but when you're not getting the results you have to look deeper as to why. We know a lot of it is right, but we have to work on it. I don't think anybody has lost belief.

"Aberdeen haven't conceded goals and if you don't concede, you don't lose. We have to get that mentality in our game, sometimes we've been a bit open."

  12. 'Dundee must be brave' - Pressleypublished at 19:37 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic v Dundee (19:45)

Dundee boss Steven Pressley tells BBC Scotland: "I said in the lead up to Saturday's game I'd seen real improvements in our performances. As a coach we look at the game slightly differently - supporters want to see results. The win gives the group a real lift, there's a good energy around us. It makes us look forward to tonight's game.

"[The players] showed great responsibility in their performance. It was over a year since a Dundee side had gone behind and gone on to get three points. A pivotal moment for us to go on and win the game.

"A word that you have to use when you come to Celtic Park is bravery. You will not win a game here without outworking them and showing that bravery."

  13. Goodwin wants 'real passion and aggression'published at 19:35 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United v Rangers (19:45)

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "I don't think either team comes into this one in particularly great form. We're disappointed with our recent run of results, we've had too many draws.

"Tonight gives us an opportunity to get maximum points. We had a really good performance down at Rugby Park, in the second half particularly. We want to build on that and get some momentum.

"Winning breeds confidence and tonight we need to get our noses in front. Too many times we've had to chase games.

"We need to get the fans out of their seats and we need to show real passion and aggression. Sometimes a tackle is all it takes to lift the whole stadium."

  14. 'Stable' Aberdeen with room to improve - Thelinpublished at 19:33 GMT 3 December 2025

    Aberdeen v St Mirren (19:45)

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin starts by telling BBC Scotland about the changes to his starting XI: "It's energy and also protecting the players and their fatigue level.

"Regarding Jesper, [Karlsson] he was back in Sweden for private stuff, so we need to let him recover and get focused again.

"Keep our performance stable. It has been good in the last period - there are things to improve, but at least we are stable. We have to keep getting better from there.

"We are scoring more than the opponents, that is the most important thing."

  15. 'We want to get back to carrying threat out wide' - McInnespublished at 19:30 GMT 3 December 2025

    Hearts v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "Different reasons for each [change]. I want us to get back to being 4-4-2 and carrying a threat in wide areas. At home, we've always tried to do that.

"Last couple of games we haven't put enough crosses in the box. It's an opportunity for [players coming in].

"It's not easy leaving [Claudio] Braga out. He's busy, he's infectious, and you're always drawn to that. He'll be itching to play his part, it's great to have that type."

On outgoing chairperson Ann Budge, whose final game in her role is tonight, McInnes adds: "She's been unbelievable for the club. Everything she's done, her intentions, her desire for this club has never been in question."

  16. 'Tonight not about me' - O'Neillpublished at 19:27 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic v Dundee (19:45)

On Wilfred Nancy being announced as the new manager, departing interim Celtic boss Martin O'Neill says: "It's good, it brings clarity to everyone which is great. From my own point of view, it's been a genuine privilege to come back. I was concerned about it.

"Selfishly, I wouldn't have minded wrapping up at Easter Road. The new manager I'm sure will be watching the videos of the games before he takes over which is great for him.

"I'm not really bothered about [going out on a high]. I'm bothered about winning the game. And the players are bothered about winning. Tonight is about them rather than anybody else.

"No matter how good you are, if you lose a couple of games, regardless of how many championships you've won, players can lose confidence. The more you win, the more the manager's words seem not only relevant, but real. I just want us to turn up and play as strongly as we can and try and win the game."

  17. Rangers 'working on offensive stuff' - Rohlpublished at 19:25 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United v Rangers (19:45)

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "Jayden [Meghoma] is back. Max [Aarons] did really well two weeks in a row, he's really growing since I came here. But in some areas we want fresh mindsets. In the past, we also change players because of load management.

"We need everyone in this squad. We worked in the last two days on some things, not so much on the grass but in meetings, and now we want to see the next step forward.

"Thirteen points from 15 is a good start. We want to win games. We need a good defensive structure and now it's about working on our offensive stuff. We have to make better decisions in good areas.

"Step by step, I want to speed up our game more and more."
