  2. Hearts pushing and probingpublished at 20:16 GMT 3 December 2025

    Hearts 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle

Hearts are dominating possession but are finding it difficult to break down a Kilmarnock defence who look quite content in keeping the home side at bay.

There is no doubt Hearts don’t have the sharpness they possessed a few weeks ago but they still look dangerous when in in the opponents final third.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:13 GMT 3 December 2025

    Falkirk 0-0 Motherwell

    Alfredo Agyeman goes close again.

A quick free-kick catches Motherwell cold, and the forward peels off his man at the near post. The visitors recover just in time to deflect the effort wide.

  4. A bit of the Butcher's about Maedapublished at 20:13 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic 1-0 Dundee

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Such is Celtic's faith in Daizen Maeda right now, they were prepared to wait some time for him to return from getting treatment.

He's now sporting a bandage around his head not dissimilar to that famous image of former Rangers defender Terry Butcher for England an age ago.

He's got a bit more pace though.

Alexander Jensen has open space in front of him to drive into, but the Aberdeen wing-back dallies and allows the St Mirren defence to get back.

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 GMT 3 December 2025

Reo Hatate dinks a cross into the Dundee box and into the path of Arne Engels, who leaps up for the header but nods just wide of the target.

  7. goal

GOAL Dundee United 1-1 Rangerspublished at 20:08 GMT 3 December 2025

    Jayden Meghoma

It felt like there was a goal coming - but maybe not like that!

Meghome rockets it in from about 30 yards out, low and hard, and it flies into the corner. No chance for Dave Richards in the United goal.

    Fair play, it's some dig.

    Celtic 1-0 Dundee

And here comes Daizen Maeda back onto the pitch to much applause from the home support. The Celtic forward is sporting a head bandage and already has a corker of a black eye.

  9. Postpublished at 20:07 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United 1-0 Rangers

Dundee United have started to sit back and they're looking very frail defensively.

Rangers look delighted at the space they're being given, and they're starting to pepper the United box with crosses and shots.

A few desperate headers and blocks have saved them - so far.

  10. Postpublished at 20:06 GMT 3 December 2025

    Falkirk 0-0 Motherwell

Early days, but Motherwell are missing Elliot Watt. The Lanarkshire side are struggling to build much from the back, and their play is lacking it's usual dynamism.

Falkirk with the best of it so far.

  11. Postpublished at 20:06 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic 1-0 Dundee

Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is now on the floor holding his ankle after a coming together with Finlay Robertson.

He'll be fine but Celtic are still playing with 10 as Daizen Maeda hasn't returned to the action after scoring.

  12. Postpublished at 20:04 GMT 3 December 2025

    Hearts 0-0 Kilmarnock

Pierre Landry Kabore gets in behind and takes a touch past Killie keeper Tobi Oluwayemi before laying back to Lawrence Shankland at a tight angle.

The Hearts captain looks to loft one in first time, but the visiting goalie recovers.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:04 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United 1-0 Rangers

A brilliant save from Dave Richards maintains United's lead.

It's a Rangers cross from the left which evades the home defence. Bojan Miovski flicks on, but Richards reads it brilliantly and palms away.

  14. Brave finish from Maedapublished at 20:01 GMT 3 December 2025

    Celtic 1-0 Dundee

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Pace, anticipation, bravery, that was a very good goal for Celtic.

Daizen Maeda showed all of that as did his team-mates to create that opening.

Maeda took a sore one as he thumped home his header but he looks like he's back to the kind of level Celtic need him to be.

    Exactly what Dundee didn't need.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:00 GMT 3 December 2025

    Dundee United 1-0 Rangers

    United almost make it 2-0.

It's another good ball in from the right, but this time it's Nikolaj Moller who is picked out. The Swede flicks on, but his header bounces just wide.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:58 GMT 3 December 2025

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

    Aberdeen should be in front.

Topi Keskinen fires a shot from the edge of the box off the post with St Mirren goalkeeper Shamal George rooted to the spot.

The hosts recycle and the unmarked Adil Aouchiche heads straight at George.

  17. goal

GOAL Celtic 1-0 Dundeepublished at 19:57 GMT 3 December 2025

    Daizen Maeda

A bullet header from Daizen Maeda to fire Celtic in front.

It's peach of a pass from Reo Hatate with the side of his foot to find Yang at the front post - goalkeeper Jon McCracken comes out to block the shot but Maeda rises highest to reach the rebound and nod in the opener.

There was a clash of heads with a defender as he finished and the goalscorer will need some treatment.

  18. goal

GOAL Dundee United 1-0 Rangerspublished at 19:57 GMT 3 December 2025

    Zac Sapsford

    What a goal that is!

Zac Sapsford is played in behind by Luca Stephenson, and the Aussie holds off Emmanuel Fernandez, haring away from the defender before dinking it beautifully over goalkeeper Jack Butland.

That's just what Jim Goodwin was asking for.

  19. Postpublished at 19:55 GMT 3 December 2025

    Hearts 0-0 Kilmarnock

It's been a bright start from Pierre Landry Kabore, who has forced a booking for defender Robbie Deas, and was close to getting a dangerous shot away there.

The forward coming back into the Hearts side will be looking to make a statement.

  20. Postpublished at 19:53 GMT 3 December 2025
