Ipswich break down the right through Jens Cajuste who crosses right-footed to Chuba Akpom who strikes it first time and past Jamie Cumming.

  2. goal

GOAL: Watford 2-0 Birminghampublished at 15:40 GMT 1 January

    Tom Ince (38 mins)

It's Tom Ince at the double for Watford!

Terrific wide play from Othmane Maamma who picks out Ince perfectly in the middle.

Ince hits his first attempt at Blues keeper James Beadle with his right foot but buries the rebound with his favoured left.

What a festive period it has been for the Hornets who are set for their fourth league win on the bounce.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:39 GMT 1 January

    Charlton 0-1 Coventry

    Big penalty appeal for Charlton.

The ball finds itself at the back post and Charlie Kelman gets his strike off.

The ball appears to hit Joel Latibeaudiere on the hand before it goes out for a corner.

The referee points to the corner flag and nothing more.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:37 GMT 1 January

    Watford 1-0 Birmingham

First, Tom Ince is played in down the left but from a tight angle the former Blackpool winger can not double his tally for the day, shooting just wide.

Then, Marc Bola fires the ball across the face of goal but there are no takers in the middle for Watford.

Great start however for the hosts.

  5. 'Clever play by Oxford'published at 15:35 GMT 1 January

    Ipswich 1-1 Oxford

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

Well that was a lot like our Premier League days.

Play was broken down and they get space in behind, there was always going to be a chance at a strike on goal.

It was clever play by Oxford.

  6. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 1-1 Oxfordpublished at 15:35 GMT 1 January

    Will Lankshear (35 mins)

Oxford are level and that is a big goal against the run of play.

Przemyslaw Placheta breaks down the right and makes the pass infield and via a Filip Krastev flick it runs to Oxford striker Will Lankshear who finishes low across the keeper and into the bottom corner.

It's the Tottenham loanee's sixth Championship goal of the season.

  7. Postpublished at 15:34 GMT 1 January

    Preston 1-0 Sheff Wed

Preston come close to scrambling in a quick-fire second.

The Lilywhites have drawn all of their past three home games 1-1 so they'll be very keen to add a second here.

  8. Postpublished at 15:33 GMT 1 January

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

West Brom are growing into this game and come close to the opener.

Samuel Iling-Junior sends a powerful strike goalwards, but Swansea keeper Lawrence Vigouroux is equal to it.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:33 GMT 1 January

    QPR 0-0 Norwich

    Good chance for QPR.

Rumarn Burrell collects a clever back heel and gets his shot off from a tight angle but it is well kept out by Norwich keeper Vladan Kovacevic.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:32 GMT 1 January

    Hull City 0-0 Stoke City

And just as I say it's been all Stoke, the home side go down the other end and only the woodwork stops them taking the lead.

Charlie Hughes' effort has left the crossbar rattling.

  11. 'Derby look clueless'published at 15:31 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Malcolm Christie
Former Derby striker on BBC Radio Derby

When we get the ball we look a little bit clueless with what we're going to do with it.

There's no real patterns of play.

  12. Postpublished at 15:31 GMT 1 January

    Charlton 0-1 Coventry

Coventry's Milan van Ewijk looks to race down the right once more but good tracking back from Tyreece Campbell sees the hosts retrieve the ball.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15:30 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

Another chance for Tommy Conway and Boro.

His connection is much better this time as Callum Brittain's deep cross picks him out in space.

The sidefoot volley is well saved by Jacob Zetterstrom.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:30 GMT 1 January

    Southampton 0-0 Millwall

Southampton come close with an effort from a corner.

Leo Scienza whips the ball in and Taylor Harwood-Bellis rises highest to head it towards goal but Millwall keeper Max Crocombe produces a fine save to keep it out.

Scienza then follows up with a right-footed effort but it flies over the crossbar.

A first goal of the season for Northern Ireland international Ali McCann.

The midfielder shows terrific composure to control Jamal Lewis' pass well and finish calmly under pressure.

  16. Postpublished at 15:29 GMT 1 January

The away side are doing ALL the running in this so far.

Robert Bozenik again forces a save out of Ivor Pandur in the Hull City goal.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:29 GMT 1 January

    Charlton 0-1 Coventry

Charlton's Reece Burke is in the book for a kick on Haji Wright.

  18. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 1 January

    QPR 0-0 Norwich

The visitors are slowly creeping into this match and a through ball almost sets Josh Sargent in on goal but QPR keeper Paul Nardi's starting position is good and the returning shot-stopper collects the loose ball.

  19. Postpublished at 15:27 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

Boro have four men pouring forward on the break after Ebou Adams is brushed off the ball in midfield.

But Hayden Hackney's final long-range effort is wild and flies high over the bar.

Derby then threaten with low crosses zipping in from both flanks, without finding a white shirt, before the danger subsides.

  20. Postpublished at 15:26 GMT 1 January

    Preston 0-0 Sheff Wed

    The away side threaten.

Harry Amass swings in a corner and Bailey Cadamarteri's glancing header looks to be goal-bound only for Daniel Iversen in the home goal to make a great reaction stop.
