  1. 'Frustrating first half'published at 15:51 GMT 1 January

    HT: Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

    It shouldn't be 0-0.

For us, the first 15 minutes we should be two or three goals up, we had two glorious chances. Going in at 0-0 is really frustrating.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 1 January

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

    Goalless at the break.

Swansea have had the edge in the first half and seen more of the ball, but the Baggies did go close through Samuel Iling-Junior.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 1 January

    Ipswich 2-1 Oxford

Ipswich go into the break ahead by a goal.

Kieran McKenna will be pleased his side have been able to re-establish their lead after Oxford drew level in the first half.

A big second half to come.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 1 January

    Hull City 0-1 Stoke City

Hull City in great form, Stoke City in poor form.

You wouldn't know it from the first 45 minutes of this.

The Potters well worth their one-goal advantage at the break.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 1 January

    Charlton 0-1 Coventry

The league-leaders lead once more at the break.

Ellis Simms' early strike broke the deadlock but there has been little goalmouth action to tell you about since then in truth.

Charlton did have a penalty appeal turned down by the referee when Charlie Kelman's strike hit a Coventry hand but it would have been a harsh one and a corner was instead given.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

Boro have had the best of the first half but were unable to turn their dominance into goals.

That's seven successive halves of football without finding the net, but they have had their chances.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Bristol City 2-0 Portsmouth

The hosts are ahead at the break and have been by far the better side.

If it was not for some fine goalkeeping by Nicolas Schmid then it could have been worse for John Mousinho's Portsmouth.

The Blues are without their star players Josh Murphy and Callum Lang and are clearly struggling without them.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Preston 1-0 Sheff Wed

Ali McCann's first goal since 2024 is the difference between these pair at the break.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    QPR 0-0 Norwich

Half-time and we remain goalless at Loftus Road.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Watford 2-0 Birmingham

The half-time whistle has blown at Vicarage Road and Watford head back into the changing rooms two goals to the good.

Tom Ince has grabbed both of the Hornets' goals this afternoon.

The first was a terrific strike - a cushioned volley with his left foot following a brilliant pick out form Giorgi Chakvetadze.

Ince then doubled his tally for the day when he was quickest to react to bury home inside the box after good wing play from Othmane Maamma.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 January

    Southampton 0-0 Millwall

The referee blows for the break and there are a few boos at St Mary's.

Millwall have frustrated the Saints so far who are winless in their last four matches.

  12. Postpublished at 15:47 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

After being under the pump for large parts of this half, Derby go close just before the break.

Joe Ward curls a free kick over the wall and towards the left-hand corner but keeper Sol Brynn gets down well to turn it around the post for a corner.

  13. Postpublished at 15:47 GMT 1 January

    QPR 0-0 Norwich

Despite a promising start, this game appears to be petering out.

We are into one minute of additional time at Loftus Road.

  14. Postpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Bristol City 2-0 Portsmouth

Bristol City nearly have a third before the break but are this time denied.

Anis Mehmeti moves smartly in the area before shooting at Nicolas Schmid who produces a brilliant save.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:46 GMT 1 January

    Watford 2-0 Birmingham

Watford's Mattie Pollock is shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Patrick Roberts.

  16. Postpublished at 15:44 GMT 1 January

    Derby 0-0 Middlesbrough

The visitors take their corner tally to four, but the Derby defence deal with them comfortably.

Delano Burgzorg sends a low shot skimming past the left-hand post from the edge of the box after Tommy Conway does very well to keep the ball in oplay and spark another chance.

Derby will be pleased if they can go in level.

  17. Baggies keeping Swans at baypublished at 15:44 GMT 1 January

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea have been the sharper side for the most part here, with their high press causing West Brom problems whenever the visitors are in possession.

But for all that, Albion have had the nearest sight of goal on the counter, when Samuel Iling-Junior's shot was saved.

Ryan Mason will want more from his team, even though a Swansea side lacking forward options have lacked a threat in the final third up until now.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:44 GMT 1 January

    Charlton 0-1 Coventry

Coventry's Milan van Ewijk is booked for trying to steal a few yards at a throw in.

    Needless one really.

  19. goal

GOAL: Hull City 0-1 Stoke Citypublished at 15:42 GMT 1 January

    Robert Bozenik (39 mins)

If at first you don't succeed...

Robert Bozenik forced Ivor Pandur into two decent saves in the opening exchanges of this game but there's no saving this.

The Slovakia international is on hand to turn in Lamine Cisse's cross-shot from VERY close range.

    His first for the club.

  20. 'Big goal for Akpom'published at 15:42 GMT 1 January

    Ipswich 2-1 Oxford

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

Oxford were sucked in towards the ball down this left-hand side. They vacated the left-back position for Furlong to go into.

It's a good one for Akpom. This is what the afternoon was about for him, putting the ball in the net, and he's done that before half-time.
