    Hibernian 0-0 Aberdeen

Hibs start the second half on the front foot.

They play down the right hand side and Josh Cambpell squares the ball.

Elie Youan is waiting for a tap in and only good defending from Alexander Jensen denies him.

  2. Postpublished at 20:51 GMT 30 December 2025

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee United

United have started the second half the way they finished the first.

Will Ferry sends a low cross to the back post from the left wing and Zac Sapsford can only prod the ball wide as he slides in looking for his second goal of the night.

Not the best 45 minutes witnessed at Easter Road in 2025! Very poor but as the song goes “Things can only get better.”

  4. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-0 Celticpublished at 20:47 GMT 30 December 2025

One-way traffic from a terrific Motherwell.

Ibrahim Said's first goal for club was a classy finish on the end of Stephen O'Donnel's delightful cross.

Celtic have been all over the shop. Nowhere near it at all.

Big team talk coming from Wilfried Nancy, you'd think...

There is no way this Celtic team will overturn a four-goal deficit against Motherwell. I've every confidence Hearts will still be flying high into 2026.

    Motherwell 1-0 Celtic

While Celtic's free-kick was poor, the Motherwell counter was almost class.

Ibrahim Said just overcooks a through ball but Elijah Just was able to keep it alive.

His skewed effort nearly creeps in at the back-post, but Kieran Tierney is there to hook it away.

    Motherwell 1-0 Celtic

Celtic haven't attempted a shot since the seventh minute, their only one of the game.

That was over 30 minutes ago.

Straight off the first Motherwell player.

    As you were.

Thelo Aasgaard's header is the difference between the sides

Rangers take a narrow lead into half-time thanks to Thelo Aasgaard's well-taken header.

Danny Rohl's side have had the better of proceedings, but St Mirren have had their moments and while this game is still at 1-0, they will fancy taking something back to Paisley.

  13. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-1 Dundee Unitedpublished at 20:36 GMT 30 December 2025

Zac Sapsford's clsoe-range finish separates the sides, but United could be further ahead.

Dario Naamo could have had a hat-trick, the Fin having a field day down the right wing.

  14. HALF-TIME Dundee 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 20:35 GMT 30 December 2025

Dundee have had 13 shots, a couple of golden opportunities, and yet they find themselves 1-0 down at the break.

And to add insult to injury, it's a goal that they gifted to Kilmarnock - a bit late for Christmas presents, surely?

But they don't come wrapped much nicer than Greg Kiltie's goal, handed to him on a silver platter thanks to Dundee defender Luke Graham's poor touch.

  15. HALF-TIME - Hibernian 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 20:34 GMT 30 December 2025

It's not been a game full of chances. The big news is Martin Boyle has been forced off injured for Hibs with what looked like a muscle issue.

He had his side's best chance with a lob on to the roof of the Aberdeen net.

Jesper Karlsson went closest for the visitors, and that's about the size of it.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:33 GMT 30 December 2025

    Hibernian 0-0 Aberdeen

That's as close as Aberdeen have come.

Kjartan Kjartansson wins the ball and it is played to Adil Aouchiche. Hibs take it off him but the ball runs towards goal and Jesper Karlsson is quickest to react.

He gets a shot away but Raphael Sallinger saves.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:32 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 1-0 St Mirren

An excellent save from Shamal George denies Mikey Moore.

So close to 2-0 for Rangers.

  18. Postpublished at 20:32 GMT 30 December 2025

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee United

So close to a second for United.

However, an excellent low save from goalkeeper Jerome Prior denies Dario Naamo after the Fin fires low from 12 yards.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:31 GMT 30 December 2025

    Dundee 0-1 Kilmarnock

    Off the line!

Dundee almost have an instant reply as a header from Billy Koumetio is cleared away on the goal-line by a stretching Bruce Anderson. Brilliant defending from the wee striker.

  20. Postpublished at 20:29 GMT 30 December 2025

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee United

Dave Richards doesn't like catching the ball much.

The United goalkeeper this time beats away a shot from Scott Pittman.

But it's quickly up the other end again, where the ball is bobbling about the Livi six-yard box before being nervously cleared.
