  1. goal

GOAL Rangers 2-1 ST MIRRENpublished at 21:29 GMT 30 December 2025

    Mikael Mandron

    Game on!

Miguel Freckleton's towering header is parried by Jack Butland straight to Mikael Mandron, who bundles home into the bottom corner.

It's scrappy, but the Buddies won't care.

  2. goal

GOAL Livingston 0-2 DUNDEE UNITEDpublished at 21:29 GMT 30 December 2025

    Ryan McGowan OG

    What a calamity for Livi.

From Will Ferry's cross into a crowded penalty box, goalkeeper Jerome Prior's punch off the line hits team-mate Ryan McGowan's face and into the net.

The points look safe for United now.

  3. DISALLOWED GOAL (Aberdeen)published at 21:28 GMT 30 December 2025

    Hibernian 1-0 Aberdeen

Kevin Nisbet scores for Aberdeen, but it's ruled out for offside.

This is very tight. VAR is checking...

On-field decision stands. Nisbet is judged to have gone slightly early as he went up to win the original flick-on.

From there the ball was whipped to the back post and the Scotland striker rammed home.

He was onside at that point, but it doesn't matter.

  4. Postpublished at 21:27 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 2-0 St Mirren

Youssef Chermiti has had his best game in a Rangers shirt tonight.

It's not the highest of bars, admittedly, but he's bossed the St Mirren defence and linked play nicely for Danny Rohl's team.

Danilo comes on for the £8m summer signing, while Clinton Nsiala is on for John Souttar in defence.

  5. 'Celtic second best'published at 21:26 GMT 30 December 2025

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on Premier Sports

Celtic are second best, chasing shadows, schooled. On the park and off it.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:24 GMT 30 December 2025

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

    Motherwell are rampant here.

Eli Just shrugs Luke McCowan off the ball, allowing him to race into the box. He's crowded out, but still manages to get away a shot which Scheichel gobbles up easily enough.

    This is quite remarkable.

  7. PENALTY SAVEDpublished at 21:23 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 2-0 St Mirren

    A terrible penalty.

Marcus Fraser takes a massive run-up but gets no power behind his shot and Jack Butland makes an easy save down to his right.

  8. PENALTY ST MIRRENpublished at 21:23 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 2-0 St Mirren

    Given!

Fernandez has got away with a few this season, but not this time.

    Marcus Fraser to take...

  9. VAR reviewpublished at 21:22 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 2-0 St Mirren

St Mirren look like they are going to get a penalty here.

Conor McMenamin's shot strikes Emmanuel Fernandez's hand and the referee goes to the monitor.

  10. ouch!

Change in goal for Donspublished at 21:22 GMT 30 December 2025

    Hibernian 0-0 Aberdeen

Nick Suman was ready to make his Aberdeen debut. The summer signing from Cove Rangers was stripped and read to come on for Dimitar Mitov.

Mitov got studs in the face from his own team-mate Alexander Jensen as the ball was scrambled clear.

    But he's ok to continue.

  11. Postpublished at 21:21 GMT 30 December 2025

    Dundee 2-1 Kilmarnock

Big penalty shout for Kilmarnock as Brad Lyons goes down in the box under a clumsy challenge from Drey Wright. The referee, Nick Walsh, isn't interested and neither is the VAR.

Dundee go up the other end and pass up a big chance, as Emile Acquah heads a glorious chance straight at the keeper. Has to do better.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:20 GMT 30 December 2025

    Rangers 2-0 St Mirren

Djeidi Gassama gets the ball in his own half and drives straight for the St Mirren goal.

He gets into the opposition box, but his deflected shot is brilliantly saved by a sprawling Shamal George.

  13. Not so dandy Donspublished at 21:19 GMT 30 December 2025

    Hibs 1-0 Aberdeen

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

Hibs haven’t been great but they are deserving of their one goal advantage. Aberdeen have shown nothing so far upfront and will be hoping the trio of substitutions can make an impact with 20 minutes left to play.

  14. Postpublished at 21:18 GMT 30 December 2025

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee United

So close to a Livingston equaliser.

Dave Richards beats away a Robbie Muirhead shot and the goalkeeper is back up to stop Connor McLennan's attempt on the rebound.

  16. goal

GOAL DUNDEE 2-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 21:16 GMT 30 December 2025

    Charlie Reilly

Dundee have the lead they so richly deserve.

Ashley Hay has a shot blocked in the box and it drops nicely for Reilly, who curls in with his left foot.

It's his first start after two-and-a-half years at Dundee, and he has celebrated it with a goal. Moments later, he's subbed. That's football.

  17. goal

GOAL MOTHERWELL 2-0 Celticpublished at 21:14 GMT 30 December 2025

    Elliot Watt

    A Celtic shambles.

Kasper Schmeichel's wayward pass out from the back doesn't find the feet of Arne Engels as Celtic shoot themselves in the foot.

The initial shot is blocked, but with an empty goal, Elliot Watt smashes in a simple second.

    Awful from Celtic. Truly awful.

  18. Postpublished at 21:14 GMT 30 December 2025

    Motherwell 1-0 Celtic

Auston Trusty has swiftly been joined in the book by Reo Hatate and Anthony Ralston.

    Frustrated and chasing shadows...

  19. Postpublished at 21:13 GMT 30 December 2025

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee United

They have been second best for most of the game, but Livingston are still in this while the scoreline remains as it is.

Substitute Connor McLennan rises to meet a cross, but the former Aberdeen forward's header loops over from 15 yards.

  20. Kiltie off for Killiepublished at 21:12 GMT 30 December 2025

    Dundee 1-1 Kilmarnock

Greg Kiltie is off for Kilmarnock, with an ice pack immediately placed on his groin. Ben Brannan is on in his place.

That's not good news for the visitors. Kiltie has been their best player tonight, and was on Saturday against St Mirren, too.
