35 games without a single win against Celtic before tonight for Motherwell.

They've not just beaten the champions, they've played them off the park.

    It's a haymaker of a result.

Said it a few weeks ago, every time I think I've seen Celtics worst performance of the season they outdo themselves. Motherwell have been good but we're making them look like Barca with out schoolboy defending and tactics. Nancy has picked up points against 10 man Aberdeen (barely) and an unlucky Falkirk. Get him out before we're struggling for a top 4 finish! Dreadful stuff!!!

    Stephen

The end of Nancy, I fancy

    Alex

Nancy leave your keys on the desk and close the door behind you.

    Jamie

It’s not acceptable for Celtic to sacrifice the league this year, to indulge one man’s experiment. This is unnecessary pain.

  4. FULL-TIME Motherwell 2-0 Celticpublished at 21:50 GMT 30 December 2025

It's all over at Fir Park.

    Out fought. Out thought. Outclassed.

Motherwell have been utterly outstanding. They've brushed their way by Celtic with ease.

    Incredible scenes in ML1.

Arne Engels rattles a shot down the throat of Calum Ward. No danger at all.

Here come the ole oles from the Motherwell fans with every pass.

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

Trusty's just papped a free header over at the near post from a corner. He really should have done better.

Says it all. Even at this stage, Motherwell then take the goal kick short rather than just hoof it. Believe in the system...

  8. FULL-TIME - Hibernian 2-0 Aberdeenpublished at 21:44 GMT 30 December 2025

A comfortable win for Hibs, who move six points clear of their opponents.

David Gray's side vastly improved after the break and Thibault Klidje broke the deadlock before Junior Hoilett sealed the win in stoppage time.

Aberdeen had Kevin Nisbet's goal ruled out for offside after a very tight call. They improved late on after switching to a back four, but overall they carried too little threat.

Jimmy Thelin's men drop into the bottom half.

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

Remember, we're still going at Fir Park.

The champions are doing all they can but Motherwell are holding firm. Three minutes of normal time left.

  10. FULL-TIME Rangers 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 21:42 GMT 30 December 2025

Goals either side of half-time from Thelo Aasgaard and Emmanuel Fernandez are enough for a narrow Rangers victory at Ibrox.

They didn't have it all their own way though and St Mirren will look back with regret that they were unable to take a point.

Mikael Mandron did pull a goal back for the visitors, but only after Marcus Fraser had a spot-kick saved by Jack Butland.

    It's all over at Dens!

    Rangers 2-1 St Mirren

That missed Marcus Fraser penalty looks even worse now.

St Mirren have four minutes of added time to snatch a point...

  13. FULL-TIME Livingston 1-3 Dundee Unitedpublished at 21:38 GMT 30 December 2025

United move up to sixth in the Premiership with a convincing victory as Livingston stay four points adrift at the bottom.

Zac Sapsford's close-range strike, a Ryan McGowan own goal and an Amar Fatah solo effort secured the points before Connor McLennan's late reply.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:37 GMT 30 December 2025

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

Calum Ward is finally called into action but what a save that is.

Benjamin Nygren forces the Well shotstopper into a sublime save in the top corner.

    Big, big hand.

  15. Postpublished at 21:36 GMT 30 December 2025

    Dundee 2-1 Kilmarnock

Ben Brannan comes close to an absolute screamer. Not the first time we've written that this season.

The teenager sliced one with his right foot from distance that went less than a yard over the bar.

  16. goal

GOAL HIBERNIAN 2-0 Aberdeenpublished at 21:34 GMT 30 December 2025

    Junior Hoilett

Hibs seal the victory, and it is a howler from Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov.

Josh Mulligan powers his way to the edge of the box, and shifts it to Hoilett.

He drills a shot straight at the goalkeeper who lets it squirm into the net.

  17. goal

GOAL LIVINGSTON 1-3 Dundee Unitedpublished at 21:34 GMT 30 December 2025

    Connor McLennan

Connor McLennan has been Livi's most dangerous play and he cuts inside to fire home.

It gives the hosts some late hope, but probably not much.

  18. goal

GOAL Livingston 0-3 DUNDEE UNITEDpublished at 21:32 GMT 30 December 2025

    Amar Fatah

That's the points secured for United now.

Substitute Amar Fatah goes on a mazy run before curling it into the far corner.

Growing increasingly worried about Killie. What manager is going to want to take on the challenge of managing that rubbish? Billy Bowie claims he wants to leave a legacy? At the moment, the only legacy he’s looking at is two relegations. Absolute tanker.

    Motherwell 2-0 Celtic

Celtic, again, shooting themselves in the foot.

An atrocious attempt at a pass in the Motherwell defensive half is intercepted and Elijah Just is tearing down on goal.

Kasper Schmeichel is called into making another save, and the Dane just about does enough.
